Talent Turnover Intention of Civil Engineers from India
Civil engineers tend to move between construction organizations in the employment market due to employee's individual perception/requirement/need. The study has been initiated with a thorough literature review and variables have been picked and collected for further study. During literature review it realised that good volume of talent turnout study has been carried out in other than civil engineering stream/s by researcher in past time. From the study it is found that previous researches have not considered project site location/ working location as one of the variables in their study. Hence, the present study has been carried out considering the project site location as an independent variable. To confirm reliability of the questionnaire, pilot study has been carried out. To do so 15% of sample responses has been collected and analysed for reliability. McDonald's omega found to be greater than the base value for four dimensions and point estimate is found to be 0.874. Considering the reliability test questionnaire has been frozen, responses has been collected from sample on/off line and the responses have been collated, analyzed. The model Fit appears to be good as the Root Mean Square Error Approximation (RMSEA)=0.07, Comparative Fit Index (CFI)=0.91, Tucker Lewis Index(TLI)=0.90 and thus model fit turns out to be satisfactory( Hair Jr et all 2018). From mediation testing it is noted that the project site location is directly influencing the talent turnout and the relationship between project site location and talent turnout is found to be influenced by mediators like, pay, training etc.

The Art of Public Speaking by Dale Carnegie. This is a US only edition. The efficiency of a book is like that of a man, in one important respect: its attitude toward its subject is the first source of its power. A book may be full of good ideas well expressed, but if its writer views his subject from the wrong angle even his excellent advice may prove to be ineffective. This book stands or falls by its authors' attitude toward its subject. If the best way to teach oneself or others to speak effectively in public is to fill the mind with rules, and to set up fixed standards for the interpretation of thought, the utterance of language, the making of gestures, and all the rest, then this book will be limited in value to such stray ideas throughout its pages as may prove helpful to the reader-as an effort to enforce a group of principles it must be reckoned a failure, because it is then untrue. It is of some importance, therefore, to those who take up this volume with open mind that they should see clearly at the out-start what is the thought that at once underlies and is builded through this structure. In plain words it is this: Training in public speaking is not a matter of externals-primarily; it is not a matter of imitation-fundamentally; it is not a matter of conformity to standards-at all. Public speaking is public utterance, public issuance, of the man himself; therefore the first thing both in time and in importance is that the man should be and think and feel things that are worthy of being given forth. Unless there be something of value within, no tricks of training can ever make of the talker anything more than a machine-albeit a highly perfected machine-for the delivery of other men's goods. So self-development is fundamental in our plan. The second principle lies close to the first: The man must enthrone his will to rule over his thought, his feelings, and all his physical powers, so that the outer self may give perfect, unhampered expression to the inner. It is futile, we assert, to lay down systems of rules for voice culture, intonation, gesture, and what not, unless these two principles of having something to say and making the will sovereign have at least begun to make themselves felt in the life. The third principle will, we surmise, arouse no dispute: No one can learn how to speak who does not first speak as best he can. That may seem like a vicious circle in statement, but it will bear examination. Many teachers have begun with the how. Vain effort! It is an ancient truism that we learn to do by doing. The first thing for the beginner in public speaking is to speak-not to study voice and gesture and the rest. Once he has spoken he can improve himself by self-observation or according to the criticisms of those who hear. But how shall he be able to criticise himself? Simply by finding out three things: What are the qualities which by common consent go to make up an effective speaker; by what means at least some of these qualities may be acquired; and what wrong habits of speech in himself work against his acquiring and using the qualities which he finds to be good. Experience, then, is not only the best teacher, but the first and the last. But experience must be a dual thing-the experience of others must be used to supplement, correct and justify our own experience; in this way we shall become our own best critics only after we have trained ourselves in self-knowledge, the knowledge of what other minds think, and in the ability to judge ourselves by the standards we have come to believe are right. "If I ought," said Kant, "I can." An examination of the contents of this volume will show how consistently these articles of faith have been declared, expounded, and illustrated. The student is urged to begin to speak at once of what he knows.

Another Year’s Travel in Florida
In May of 2015, Lenny left his St Petersburg FL apartment for the last time, climbed into a four-year-old cargo van that had been outfitted with a sleeping bag bed, a homemade sink, a homemade toilet, and a solar panel for electricity, and set out to live on the road. Over the next eight years, he toured most of the continental United States from coast to coast and from border to border. In 2020 he wrote a chronicle of a portion of that roadtrip, titled A Year's Travel In Florida. This book is a continuation of that travelogue. In it he reviews some more of his favorite sites in Florida, and gives a description and historical overview of some of the places that he liked. A few of them are famous tourist destinations; most are known only to the locals. But all have interesting stories to tell. Among them are: a sea monster in Clearwater Beach; the original African Queen riverboat; the Everglades; a history of shuffleboard; the US Navy's Sealab project; the flying saucer house; the Fountain of Youth; and Florida's very own Bigfoot. 39 Triolets
One member of my writer's group, the Tower Poets, devoted a year of her life to writing one sonnet a day. The sonnet seemed to be her favorite form, and from her prolific output in that form, she seemed to accomplish her objective. My favorite western form is the triolet. While much of my published poems are Japanese short form, there is something I also enjoy about the triolet. For one thing, a resourceful poet can use that form to repurpose a free verse poem that can't seem to get there. Perhaps the poet likes several lines from the poem and considers it to have potential, but they just can't seem to revise it to the point where it works for them and seems ready for querying. But all you need are two good lines to begin a triolet! A resourceful poet can salvage the strong lines from a weak poem and position them as line one and two of the triolet. Falling out of Heaven

With a patient heart, your eyes will set light to visualize the words of pain along with the cuts and bruises and what life can feel like after they are healed. Our darkest moments should never be hidden. As I grow older, I may never understand the cause of empty feelings, even when I am at my best. Learning to understand that I can fill myself with love and hope, and surround myself with it as well, lets me know I oversee my growth. The sun does not ask the moon to shine when the night is over because he knows his purpose. You ought to reveal what hurts the most and accept it. Feel your way through adversity, passion, regret, and failure so you can start the journey of self-love. Free the mind by healing the contusions of your heart. Joseph Twichell was Mark Twain's pastor throughout his entire life. His correspondence with Twain comprises some of the most poignant pastoral letters ever written for he, as Twain confesses, possessed a pen "that healed." Such is the ministry of pastoral letters in the tradition begun by the Apostle Paul and continued from those earliest days of antiquity to our modern, and some might say, post-modern, even, post-Christian times. BIOCordell Schulten, MA, JDCordell is an adjunct professor of Humanities and Social & Behavioral Sciences at Missouri Baptist University. Prior to this role, he served as the Dean of Students at Valor International Scholars in Anseong, Korea. He has also served as a guest lecturer at L'Abri Fellowship in Korea, a teacher at Heritage Classical Christian Academy and as the English Ministry pastor at the Korean Presbyterian Church in Kirkwood, Missouri. From 2009 through 2014, Cordell taught American Law at Handong Global University in Pohang, Korea. He has also previously taught at both Missouri Baptist University and Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri. Before teaching, he practiced law for ten years. Cordell earned his MA in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2004 and his JD from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1986. He has also studied Theology & Culture at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. Cordell and his wife Sandy have been married for 44 years. They have four grown children and five grandchildren. Topic Issues in Mass Communication in African Settings
This book exhaustively laid bare the challenges confronting communication policy formulation in Nigeria. From what is on the ground, Nigeria has a communication policy that is ineffective and disconnected from the stakeholders. As a way out of the quagmire, the book recommended that Nigeria as a country should have a policy that could aid the free flow of communication from rural to urban and vice versa. The book also discussed generally how media report ethno-religious conflicts knowing fully of the fact that conflict anywhere is one of the elements that attract media attention due to the dictum that says 'it sells when it bleeds. The book essentially highlighted the areas where social media played significant roles in the advancement of democracy and good governance in Nigeria. The advancement of democracy and good governance in Nigeria has demonstrated the efficacy of social media use in electioneering campaigns, virtual monitoring of election conduct across various polling units, and the dissemination of post-election results, as well as serving as a medium for whistleblowing for corruption and bribery by government officials. It suggested among others that attempts must be made to get authors of some serious allegations against political office holders to substantiate them at an open forum where all the service providers, political office holders, and authors of materials on social media will be present to face each other and trash out issues bothering on good governance in Nigeria.
How Covid-19 Has Reshaped Businesses

Analyzing how Covid-19 has reshaped businesses, what strategies they have taken to stay present, and how the demand for e-commerce has grown, topic will help us address and analyze measures that have been taken by companies to prevent their fall, and help rise up and running. Since it's a contemporary and ongoing crisis, this research will be of help to businesses who are stuck or are facing difficulties during pandemics, to academics who are analyzing the new take on marketing, and most importantly it will serve as an informal guide to the society which addresses and analyzes problems that the world has never faced before.
