John Adams
This illustrated biography of John Adams is told through the eyes of his son, John Quincy Adams. This 52-page book received the Best of K-12 Award from the New England Book Show and the Parents' Choice Gold Award. It tells the story of John Adams' key vision and leadership in helping to obtain the Declaration of Independence, win the Revolutionary War with Great Britain, and form the new nation of the United States of America where he was the second President. The book is full of colored illustrations and Colonial artwork. The Boston Landmarks Orchestra set the words to music composed by Anthony DiLorenzo and narrated by David McCullough, the Pulitzer Prize winning author of John Adams, which was made into a companion CD. A free audiobook of the narration by David McCullough and the companion music performed by the Boston Landmarks Orchestra is available on-line. Throughout the book, the important support and guidance that John Adams received from his wife, Abigail Adams, is brought out. Marked for hanging by King George, Adams risked his life to secure "Independence Forever." Aided by his wife, Abigail, Adams spoke up in the Continental Congress and in Europe with a "Voice Heard 'Round the World." His dedication to the cause of American freedom separated him from his family for ten long years.

Genome to Om
Spectacular advances in modern science and technology have made our lives more comfortable but not necessarily healthier or more peaceful. We are facing serious existential risks for nature and humanity where the developments are challenging our understanding.Genome to Om explores the desired transition from modern science to meta-science, blending ethical, moral, and spiritual insights while recognizing the interconnectedness of all aspects of life. It emphasizes a holistic scientific approach, talking of the marvels of science and technology, and the consequent perils that have engulfed all living beings and the planet itself. The authors pose intriguing questions about the wonders of the cosmos, life's origin, and most of all, the goal and purpose of life's journey. Genome represents the dynamic modern science, while Om embodies universal consciousness as the ultimate reality. This book is an endeavour to bridge the gap between empirical knowledge and higher-order wisdom, advocating an innovative, inclusive, technologically advanced, yet spiritually enriched and ethically grounded future. The daring proposal seeks the possibility of progressing from the Anthropocene to an ideal Omcene epoch. Genome to Om offers hope for the meaningful progression to a meta-society, and the onward journey towards harmony between scientific progress and timeless human values to reach our full potential seeking unity in diversity for universal peace and well-being, and to continue the journey of life, the Om Way.

Multiplication Practice Problems
Encourage your student to regularly practice multiplication facts. In this workbook, for each multiplication fact 2-12, there are practice pages that have the facts IN ORDER and OUT OF ORDER on the SAME page. There are also pages where the student can be tested on just the 2s, just the 3s, just the 4s, etc.Using this workbook, the student has the opportunity to practice a particular math fact IN ORDER first and then OUT OF ORDER. As a beginner, when practicing the multiplication facts for a particular number, encourage the child to look back at his or her IN ORDER answers at the top of the page if he or she is having difficulty doing the problems OUT OF ORDER. Eventually the goal is to be able to do the multiplication facts in ANY order without any assistance. On a test page, there is space to write the student's Time and Score for the test.Test scores can also be recorded on score tracker pages included with the workbook. To incentivize your child to practice, after taking a test, the child can color in a test tube on one of the reward cards, and the parent or teacher can provide the student with some type of reward for a "full" reward card.Later in the book, additional tests are provided where the child can be tested with the facts mixed up.
