About the storyThe story is written by Dave about when he was younger and he worked on a fishing boat.This book is based on a true adventure by Dave the deckhand and John the skipper while working at sea on a prawn trawler off the coast of Queensland Australia and how one night Dave got a fright when they caught something big in the net A SHARK!.The nights fishing adventure started as the skipper and his deckhand untie the boat then head out to sea on the skippers fishing boat called the NESSA LFB for the nights fishing adventure. They arrive at their first spot and drop the net deep into the deep blue sea. All night long they drop the net travel along then winch the net up and sort the catch, setting free the fish and sea life they don't need.The story also mentions the important of looking after the creatures of the sea. We do this by returning any sea life caught the net back into the sea safely if not needed. Many readers will connect with this story as fishing is a Favorite past time to many.The amazing illustrations by Aaron Wolf bring this sea tale to life.
