Thoughts of a Lost Man; Tears of a Forgotten Child
This book of poems came to fruition as an introspective investigation the riddle of pain that was supplanted at the center of my core. Throughout my life I always wondered why I had this aching pain of loss, neglect, abandonment, and the sense of yearning for love but never received it. Why was I so unlovable or felt this way? What would I use an alternative to fill that vacancy in my soul? So as I walked through the corridor of my incarceration I realized that I was in prison before I came to prison. I order to set myself free I must find that child that was left behind and save him so the man can have a promising future. I realized that this pain was multidimensional and complex and before the healing can begin, the pain became immeasurable and nearly defeated me. Yet, when I discovered the forgotten child and consoled him the lost man was visible and began to heal. Thus, became the birth of these poems that was healing conversation between the two who are one.

That You Might Believe
In today's world, we can feel as if everything is shifting beneath our feet. Headlines are filled with news of uncertainty. Social media presents a constant stream of opinions and pressures, making it hard to find solid ground. How can you stay hopeful and grounded when everything around you feels unpredictable?Jesus' disciples found themselves in a similar situation as they followed him through the final days of his earthly ministry. In John 16-21, they wrestled with fear, confusion, and uncertainty. But Jesus provided words of encouragement. His promises of the coming of the Holy Spirit, peace beyond understanding, and the certainty of his victory over death gave the disciples deep comfort.Remember that this comfort and assurance is for you, too. Believe in the truth of God's word. It will give you true peace in uncertainty and guidance when you feel overwhelmed.
