Life Inside My Mind
Your favorite YA authors including Ellen Hopkins, Maureen Johnson, and more recount their own experiences with mental illness in this raw, real, and powerful collection of essays that explores everything from ADD to PTSD. Have you ever felt like you just couldn't get out of bed? Not the occasional morning, but every day? Do you find yourself listening to a voice in your head that says "you're not good enough," "not good looking enough," "not thin enough," or "not smart enough"? Have you ever found yourself unable to do homework or pay attention in class unless everything is "just so" on your desk? Everyone has had days like that, but what if you have them every day? You're not alone. Millions of people are going through similar things. However issues around mental health still tend to be treated as something shrouded in shame or discussed in whispers. It's easier to have a broken bone--something tangible that can be "fixed"--than to have a mental illness, and easier to have a discussion about sex than it is to have one about mental health. Life Inside My Mind is an anthology of true-life events from writers of this generation, for this generation. These essays tackle everything from neurodiversity to addiction to OCD to PTSD and much more. The goals of this book range from providing home to those who are feeling alone, awareness to those who are witnessing a friend or family member struggle, and to open the floodgates to conversation. Participating writers include E.K. Anderson, J.L. Armentrout, Cyn Balog, Amber Benson, Francesca Lia Block, Jessica Burkhart, Crissa Chappell, Sarah Fine, Kelly Fiore, Candace Ganger, Meghan Kelley Hall, Cynthia Hand, Ellen Hopkins, Maureen Johnson, Tara Kelly, Karen Mahoney, Melissa Marr, Kim McCreight, Hannah Moskowitz, Scott Neumyer, Lauren Oliver, Aprilynne Pike, Tom Pollack, Amy Reed, Cindy Rodriquez, Francisco Stork, Wendy Tolliver, Rob Wells, Dan Wells, Rachel Wilson, and Sara Zarr.
I Am
I AM was written because there was no resource specifically unwrapping the mystery of the Real Presence for children, which is a challenging topic for First Communion preparation. Presented in English and Spanish in a teasing question, prediction and answer format and illustrated with engaging watercolor and ink, I AM is designed to take the reader on an active journey of thinking and responding. It is packed with visual imagery of hidden surprises in nature and tied to biblical miracles of the burning bush of Moses, the divinity of Jesus, as well as the wedding at Cana and the multiplication of loaves and fishes. As the story progresses the narrator voice drops out and the child, who has been predicting answers, begins asking the questions, to which God answers, "I AM". This leads to a touching conclusion at the altar.
The Man
"The Man". Not just any man, but someone who has touched lives from the beginning of time. This is the story we are commanded to take to the world, and why. That is why I felt it was important to make it on a children's level. The sooner we can get them to know Him from whom our blessings flow, the sooner they can start to live and glorify God in this life and the next.
One Wave at a Time

As Kai and his family adjust to life without Dad, the waves still roll in. But with the help of friends and one another, they learn to cope--and, eventually, heal. A lyrical story about grieving for anyone encountering loss.
Nothing But the Truth

Do you have questions about various Bible topics, or concerns about so-called "difficult passages" from the Bible? Perhaps you have a notion for God, and would like to know what religion is all about? In the contents of this book, I will help to explain the simple message of Jesus Christ, and how an individual can know for sure from the Word of God that they have everlasting life. This is the most important decision you will ever make in this world. Where am I going to go when I die? You can find out the clear answer, backed up by Holy Scripture inside this book. You will also find out other truths contained in the Word of God that can help wherever you may be in your Christian walk.

A presidential campaign summary and analysis will be examined of Senator Clinton and Mr. Trump. The Minor Prophets
In her book, The Minor Prophets: Who Are They? author Bev Scanlon introduces readers to some important people from the Bible. The Minor Prophets all have relevant, important messages from God. Jonah was sent to Nineveh, Assyria, to tell them of the pending destruction of their city because of their sinfulness. While we think of Jonah inside the whaleit was not a whaleJonahs story is really about his disobedience, his pouting, and Gods compassionate heart. Nahum was sent back to Nineveha country of people he didnt knowto give them the same message Jonah had delivered a hundred years earlier. It is a story of forgetfulness of right actions and slipping back into disobedience. Obadiahs story is based on a rich history lesson of Esau and Jacob that makes clear the vision he had from God. He was sent to Edom with the same message as Jonah and Nahum delivered to Ninevehthe sinfulness and wickedness had to end. The Minor Prophets: Who Are They? show you these prophets are minor only because their books in the Bible are some of the shortest. But their stories and messages are retold in other books of the Bible. Gods compassionate heart, forgiveness, and love for His people are major themes of each story. Reading them shows how Gods work relates to our everyday lives.
