This little village was named Twitterville because of all the cunning little creatures twittering about, or using their twittering voices to communicate, sometimes in secret code. The village includes some inside and outside capers that cause giggles to rise from your belly. They are precious and adorable creatures full of vim and vigor, helping us to forget our troubles. Entering Twitterville provides quick relief to anxiety and fear. The air is pure and the village is charming as the stories unfold. This book has maintained strict ethical and moral codes, so the very young can have it read to them but develops interesting characters enough to make it entertaining and inspirational for adults as well. It's warm, safe, good, educational, and kind. The love shown between siblings, parents, grandparents, cousins, friends, and neighbors is exemplary. How Eileen was Saved
This true story is set in Dagenham, east London, in 1937, two years before the outbreak of war. In those days, it was common for preachers and evangelists to travel around the country to speak in churches and also to children in Sunday schools. These evangelists would teach children about Jesus, the Son of God, and the salvation that can be found through following Him. This is the story of how one little girl, at the age of six, encountered one of these evangelists at her Sunday school. Even at this tender age, Eileen was aware of her failings, of her inability to be obedient to her parents and her struggle to be truthful. With the help of the evangelist, and the Sunday School superintendent, Eileen prayed for Jesus to take away her sins and to come into her life as her personal Saviour. She was immediately aware of the change inside and on reaching home declared to her mother that she was saved! The story is written and illustrated for six-year-olds and the illustrations reflect the time in which the story is set. The author, Eileen Mohr, went on to spend her life dedicated to sharing the Gospel. For many years she was herself a Sunday school teacher and later became an accredited Methodist local preacher, preaching and teaching in Essex and also for many years in the north of Scotland. In 1994 she founded Crossbridge Books, an independent Christian publishing house whose mission to share the Gospel of Salvation continues to this day.

Parables of Love from Mom
When my children were small and my husband in college, I continued to recreate the stories my parents told me as a child about animals having personalities and their teaching abilities. I used the stories to teach my children moral principles through fables. They knew if they went to bed by 8:00 p.m., they would get another chapter of some favorite pretend stories, spun out night after night, chapter by chapter. Many of these stories led to daytime adventures as the kids lifted up flat rocks in search of Harvey Rabbit's magic hole with the candy factory. They made horn toads into pets and few a mouse in box fitted with a running wheel. In 1989, I decided to write down some of those favorite stories to give my now grown children as a Christmas present. My artist sister illustrated these stories for me. The compilation of stories has been sitting in my cedar chest for 30 years, until recently, when I had them re-printed for my now growing family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. God bless each and every child out there, that they may come to know in their head and heart that we are all God's angels placed here on earth with extraordinary abilities in order to love and bless each other's lives.
