Gulliver's Travels
A parody of traveler's tales and a satire of human nature, "Gulliver's Travels" is Jonathan Swift's most famous work which was first published in 1726. An immensely popular tale ever since its original publication, "Gulliver's Travels" is the story of its titular character, Lemuel Gulliver, a man who loves to travel. A series of four journeys are detailed in which Gulliver finds himself in a number of amusing and precarious situations. In the first voyage, Gulliver is imprisoned by a race of tiny people, the Lilliputians, when following a shipwreck he is washed upon the shores of their island country. In his second voyage Gulliver finds himself abandoned in Brobdingnag, a land of giants, where he is exhibited for their amusement. In his third voyage, Gulliver once again finds himself marooned; fortunately he is rescued by the flying island of Laputa, a kingdom devoted to the arts of music and mathematics. He subsequently travels to the surrounding lands of Balnibarbi, Luggnagg, Glubbdubdrib, and Japan. Finally in his last voyage, when he is set adrift by a mutinous crew, he finds himself in the curious Country of the Houyhnhnms. Through the various experiences of Gulliver, Swift brilliantly satirizes the political and cultural environment of his time in addition to creating a lasting and enchanting tale of fantasy. This edition is printed on premium acid-free paper.

Chelsea Parker’s Pity Party
CHELSEA PARKER'S "UNUSUALLY SOPHISTICATED prose line" is devoted not to her unexpected musical stardom, nor her eye goop condition that's "padded the wallets of many an ear nose and throat man," but only towards her on-again/off-again best friend: the winsome-yet-cavalier Stacey Jalapeno, recipient of all Chelsea's cruellest meme-based zingers, yet also her most sublimated affections. Things get weird as the lifelong frenemies reach a rarified strata of fame and power. Rather than tiresome zombies or Forever 21 vampires, the action involves paranormal subjects including interdimensional travel, CERN bacchanals, and doppelgangers run amok. Grounding this madcap plot is the evolution of Chelsea's relationship to Stacey-from doormat, to aggrieved litigant, to something eternally more complicated. As Chelsea is a less than wholly-reliable narrator, the real nature of her relationship to Stacey eventually emerges in a fashion that is clear to all but Chelsea herself.

Horrid
From the author of You Must Not Miss comes a haunting contemporary horror novel that explores themes of mental illness, rage, and grief, twisted with spine-chilling elements of Agatha Christie and Stephen King. Following her father's death, Jane North-Robinson and her mom move from sunny California to the dreary, dilapidated old house in Maine where her mother grew up. All they want is a fresh start, but behind North Manor's doors lurks a history that leaves them feeling more alone ... and more tormented. As the cold New England autumn arrives, and Jane settles in to her new home, she finds solace in old books and memories of her dad. She steadily begins making new friends, but also faces bullying from the resident "bad seed," struggling to tamp down her own worst nature in response. Jane's mom also seems to be spiraling with the return of her childhood home, but she won't reveal why. Then Jane discovers that the "storage room" her mom has kept locked isn't for storage at all--it's a little girl's bedroom, left untouched for years and not quite as empty of inhabitants as it appears... Is it grief? Mental illness? Or something more ... horrid?

Elbow Injury Guidelines for Grappling Athletes
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) focuses on techniques of throws, takedowns, joint locks, and chokeholds, in different body positions of standing and ground. Due to its nature, joint-related injuries are more common than other types including laceration, contusion, abrasion, and concussion. Although, there are not many studies about injuries in BJJ that are available, the majority of them report that the most prevalent region of joint injury was the knee and elbow during training and competition. One of them specifies that 78% of the injuries in BJJ competitions during 2005-2011 were orthopedic problems (sprains, strains and fractures), and the elbow had the highest injury rate. The two most common injuries seen in sports physical therapy settings are elbow sprains and tendonitis. This book will cover guidelines on the management and treatment of elbow related injuries.
