Formal Approaches to Romance Morphosyntax
Recent years have witnessed a (re)surfacing of interest on the interaction of morphology and syntax. For many grammatical phenomena, it is not easy to draw a dividing line between syntactic and morphological structure. This has led to the assumption that syntax is the module responsible not only for deriving syntactically complex phrases but also for deriving morphologically complex items, both in inflection and word formation. There are however also good reasons to think that syntax is not involved in all morphological processes and that there are consistent areas of morphology that are independent from syntactic processes. This book presents a collection of papers where phenomena from Romance languages and varieties are analysed under contrasting views on how morphology and syntax interact. All the contributions follow the aim to investigate what the analysed phenomena tell us about their structural make‐up and the grammatical processes involved.

Die historische Entwicklung des schw瓣bischen Dialekts wird dabei betrachtet sowie die Vielzahl von Unterdialekten und Mundarten, die sich im Schwabenland herausgebildet haben. Ferner wird die Ausbreitung des schw瓣bischen Dialektgebiets n瓣her untersucht. Die linguistischen Merkmale des schw瓣bischen Dialekts werden herausgearbeitet und am Beispiel eines Auszugs aus dem schw瓣bischen Sketch "Die Wunder" aus "Hannes und der B羹rgermeister" erl瓣utert. "Beim Dialekt f瓣ngt die gesprochene Sprache an" (Schnell, 2013). Dieses Zitat von Johann Wolfgang von Goethe f羹hrt zum Thema der Hausarbeit Deutschland z瓣hlt zu den L瓣ndern mit sehr vielen Dialekten, wobei geografisch betrachtet die Unterschiede zwischen Norden und S羹den sehr gro? sind. Erwerb des wissenschaftlichen Schreibens in der Fremdsprache Deutsch
Beim wissenschaftlichen Schreiben handelt es sich um eine Kompetenz, die Studierende im Laufe ihres Studiums erwerben. Ziel der Studie ist es, den Erwerb des wissenschaftlichen Schreibens in Deutsch als Fremdsprache im Falle von sprach- und kultur羹bergreifenden akademischen Schreibbiografien zu rekonstruieren. Die linguistische Analyse konzentriert sich auf die "wissenschaftlichen Textprozeduren". Die Ergebnisse zeigen zwei Erwerbstypologien: 1.) Die Studierenden sind in der Lage, einen Teil ihrer wissenschaftssprachlichen Kompetenzen aus der Muttersprache auf das Schreiben in der Fremdsprache zu 羹bertragen. 2.) Daf羹r werde ich zun瓣chst die Symbolik der religi繹sen Maria aufzeigen und welche Merkmale sie mit sich bringt. Hierf羹r habe ich mich auf Wolfgang Menzels: Christliche Symbolik konzentriert. Dies Begr羹ndet sich darauf, dass die Entwicklung der Symbolik hierbei sehr pr瓣gnant dargestellt wurde. Besonders 羹berzeugt hat mich auch der Vergleich zu anderen Religionen. Des weiteren werde ich darauf eingehen, inwiefern diese einzelnen Symbole in Heinrich Heines Werk auftreten. Hierf羹r habe ich einige pr瓣gnante Symboliken herausgefiltert. Leider war es mir hierbei nicht m繹glich auf alle Symbole einzugehen, damit die Arbeit nicht zu umfassend wird. Hierbei habe ich meinen Hauptfokus meist auf zwei Figuren gelenkt: Maria und William Ratcliff, diese treten am h瓣ufigsten in Verbindung mit den Symboliken. Besonders herausstechend ist hierbei, dass Marias Beschreibung durch andere Figuren sehr pr瓣gnant ist, besonders die des Ratcliff. Ratcliff selbst zeigt sich durch seinen Charakter als Gegenbild zur Maria. Die Figur Maria zeichnet sich au?erdem mit verschiedenen Merkmalen aus, die die Darstellung der "Heiligen Maria" unterst羹tzen. Somit m繹chte ich diese typischen Merkmale heranziehen und sie anhand der Trag繹die in einem Vergleich bringen. Auf diesen werde ich mein Hauptaugenmerk der Arbeit lenken.
Regionale Auxiliarvariation
Obgleich die Auxiliarselektionsforschung eine umfassende Tradition aufweist, sind Studien zu arealer, funktionaler und verarbeitungsbedingter Auxiliarvariation ein nach wie vor aktuelles Desiderat. Forschungsgegenstand der Untersuchung ist daher die synchrone Variation telischer Auxiliarkonstruktionen mit 'angefangen' im Repertoire autochthoner westf瓣lischer (Niederdeutsch-)SprecherInnen. Im Zentrum des theoretischen Interesses steht die Frage nach der konstruktionsgrammatischen Rekonstruktion medialit瓣ts- und sprachverarbeitungsbedingter syntaktischer Variation im Sprachwissen. Methodisch bedient sich die Untersuchung eines kombinierten Ansatzes aus korpuslinguistischen Sprachgebrauchsanalysen und einem Sprachverarbeitungsexperiment (Eye-Tracking). Die Ergebnisse der Arbeit verdeutlichen die Vorteile eines variet瓣ten- und medialit瓣tsbasierten Zugangs f羹r die Untersuchung syntaktischer Konstruktionen im Rahmen der Konstruktionsgrammatik. Schlie?lich er繹ffnet die Untersuchung Herausforderungen und Chancen im Zusammenhang von gebrauchsbasierter Methodik und theorieges瓣ttigter Rekonstruktion von regionalsyntaktischen Konstruktionen im Sprachwissen.

Der Namenwechsel im Zuge der Geschlechtstransition von transgeschlechtlichen Menschen weist f羹r die betroffenen Personen gro?e soziale Bedeutung auf, ist aber bisher von der Wissenschaft unber羹cksichtigt geblieben. Die vorliegende Studie schlie?t diese L羹cke, indem sie auf umfangreicher empirischer Basis herausstellt, wie 1. Geschlecht am Vornamen (ir)relevant gesetzt wird, wie 2. dieses Potential zum Doing Gender mit Namen genutzt wird, um m瓣nnliches, weibliches oder nicht-bin瓣res Selbstverst瓣ndnis zu kommunizieren und wie 3. die Verwendung des neu gew瓣hlten Namens zu einem zentralen Element in der interaktiven Aushandlung der geschlechtlichen (Neu-)Positionierung wird. Sowohl theoretisch als auch empiriebasiert wird der enge Zusammenhang von Vornamen und Gesellschaft beleuchtet, wobei dessen kontextuelle Rahmung durch das Transsexuellengesetz und das Namen瓣nderungsgesetz von besonderer Relevanz ist. Die interdisziplin瓣re Ausrichtung der Studie erm繹glicht umfassende Einsichten in die soziale Bedeutung von Vornamen und in den engen Zusammenhang von Vornamen und Geschlecht, der insbesondere f羹r transgeschlechtliche Personen Herausforderungen, aber auch M繹glichkeiten zur Kommunikation der eigenen Positionierung bedeutet.

In numerous statements cited in the book, drawn from interviews conducted by the author, young people speak for themselves and serve as guides to their minority cultures. They draw attention to the difficulties and challenges they encounter in their day-to-day life and activism. Based on their statements, the book examines the sociolinguistic situation of each of the minorities, the prevailing linguistic ideologies and the role of minority education; it also distinguishes different types of minority language speakers. Il volume presenta uno studio linguistico-testuale di un corpus di post di blog diaristici. L'analisi proposta si colloca all'intersezione di due indirizzi di riflessione, quello testuale e quello pi羅 prettamente linguistico. Nell'ambito del primo il diario on-line viene studiato nelle sue peculiarit? testuali e comunicative come genere di discorso all'interno di tre insiemi: generi autobiografici, generi della CMC e testi poco vincolanti. Nell'ambito del secondo viene esaminata la presenza nel corpus di una serie di tratti morfo-sintattici con l'obiettivo di poter qualificare i diari on-line in termini di distanza/vicinanza rispetto alla norma dell'italiano standard. Segue l'analisi di una serie di tratti sintattici tipici del parlato volta a scoprire in che misura i testi del corpus esaminato risultino orientati verso l'oralit?.
