That was the only story John would always know.It was not until Joy, if it was her, came in and messed up everything. Suddenly John had information Aliana never thought he would ever have. On that one day, everything changed. Aliana's life changed forever. John had asked the question again, "who's biological father?". That question had always sent a shock wave through Aliana's spine. For years, she had managed to keep a straight face and answered it.; "Its Praisey". John had always accepted it. But that day, that one day, it was not the same. Joh would not have suddenly asked. He had not asked since the day Praisey showed up. There must have been a reason why he would ask again.Aliana panicked. She went blank for a second. Reality was facing her in the eyes. There were no words between them for a couple of minutes. There she was. Aliana had to respond to that question one more time. That would have been her last time. Eventually, she did. She told John everything, so John thought. She told her everything. That was the begining of yet another journey for John and Aliana. In Aliana's words, she had realised that life is just a journey. She had even written it down in her office wall poster as a reminder;"Life is a journey. Even though you may know your intended destination, life will always turn out the way it was meant to. As a woman, I have always tried to be the best in whatever I do. I have always tried to be the best mother and partner to my never present husband. I have always dreamed of getting married someday, having kids and living happily ever after. However, life was not to be. It threw me so many huddles that sometimes I doubted that God even exist. One day, I woke up and made a decision. I made a decision that I will stay true to myself. I will stay true to what I believe in, even if it is believing in someone who does not see it. I told myself that I would be the bigger person. I committed that I will always be there for him. I still stand here for him.
