Forages are an important part of raising animals in a cost-effective way because they give ruminants 60-80% of the nutrients they need.Several things, like breeding and the environment, have a big effect on how well food grows and how good it is. In the past few years, most fodder breeding has been focused on improving the quality of different types and making sure that roughage output can keep up with high growth potential.Experiments show that the growth potential of forages is mostly affected by the type of plant, how much fertiliser is used, how it is watered, how fast it comes back, the time of year, and how it is collected.
A lot of grass species have at least some bad parts when mixed with other food species. There are a lot of things that can change the grass produce, so it is rare to find the right one.More work needs to be done to get closer to the goal of setting up a grass crop plan to make nutrient-rich feed for animals.

It is hard to understand how foods react to the weather and how they are grown. The problems with management change the way chemicals in feed foods are made and have an effect on the temperature.
