This book discusses the current climate change hysteria from a perspective which includes God. God controls the weather and the climate on earth, so He cannot be ignored. But that is what the alarmists are doing. They are ignoring God. The current climate hysteria demands that mankind do something immediately, with urgency, cost being no object, to combat rising atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations. The current administration appears to be scared to death that a climate catastrophe is actually on the horizon, so it is acting with urgency to eliminate the use of all fossil fuels. The steps the administration is taking may destroy the fossil fuels industries, the American economy, and the American way of life, without doing anything to affect global warming. Since God is in control of weather and climate, the climate alarmists should be trying to get out of God's way, trust He knows what He's doing, and allow Him to handle it. Instead, they are fighting God for control of the weather and climate on earth. That is a war mankind will surely lose.

The Politics of Order in Informal Markets
Property rights are important for economic exchange, but many governments don't protect them. Private market organizations can fill this gap by providing an institutional structure to enforce agreements, but with this power comes the ability to extort group members. Under what circumstances, then, will private organizations provide a stable environment for economic activity? Based on market case studies and a representative survey of traders in Lagos, Nigeria, this book argues that threats from the government can force an association to behave in ways that promote trade. The findings challenge the conventional wisdom that private good governance in developing countries thrives when the government keeps its hands off private group affairs. Instead, the author argues, leaders among traders behave in ways that promote trade primarily because of the threat of government intrusion.

Antitrust Policy in Health Care Markets
Health care costs in the United States are much higher than in other countries. These cost differences can be explained in part by a lack of competition in the United States. Some markets, such as pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, have elements of monopoly. Other markets, such as health insurance, have elements of monopsony. Many other markets may be subject to collusion on prices, such as generic drugs, or wages, such as the nurse labor market. Lawful monopoly and monopsony are beyond the reach of antitrust laws, but collusion is not. When appropriate, vigorous antitrust enforcement challenging anticompetitive conduct can aid in reducing health care costs. This book addresses monopoly, monopsony, cartels of sellers and buyers, horizontal and vertical merger policy, and antitrust enforcement through private suits as well as the efforts of the antitrust Agencies. The authors demonstrate how enforcing antitrust laws can ultimately promote competition and reduce health care costs.

Defeating Jihadist Terrorism
Since the early 1990s, terrorism and its victims have increased exponentially. Without any action strategy or exit solution, through political and military incompetence, stupidity and ideological blindness, Western interventions have only contributed to its development. We eliminate terrorists, but not terrorism. The solution lies in a more holistic, more subtle, more intelligent and less dogmatic approach.Terrorism is not an ideology. It is a method that takes many forms, including jihadist terrorism. Each form of terrorism is fought with a specific strategy.
