Supercharged To Soar
Have you ever felt like there's more to life than what you're experiencing right now? Have you ever wondered if there's a greater purpose for you-something that stretches beyond your current circumstances, beyond your struggles, and beyond your limitations? This feeling, this longing for more, is a natural part of the human experience. Deep inside, we know that we were created for something greater. The good news is that God has designed us to soar-to rise above the challenges and obstacles of life and fulfill the incredible purpose He has planned for us. The question is: How do we embrace that power and soar like we were meant to? In life, we often face situations that seem impossible. We struggle with feelings of inadequacy, doubt, and fear. These challenges can make us feel stuck, as if we're grounded, unable to reach the heights we know we're meant to. But here's the truth: God's power is available to you to help you break free from those limits and soar. With God's strength, you are not meant to stay on the ground-you're meant to rise and fly, to live a life of victory and purpose. God's Word is filled with promises of His strength, His help, and His ability to empower us to rise above anything that stands in our way. As believers, we are never meant to face life's challenges alone. The power of God is always available to us, enabling us to overcome, to grow, and to achieve the impossible. The Bible teaches us that God is our source of strength. We don't have to rely on our own power, which is limited and weak. Instead, we can tap into the unlimited, supernatural strength of God. Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." This powerful verse gives us a beautiful picture of what happens when we rely on God. When we trust in Him, He gives us the strength to rise like eagles. The eagle is known for its ability to soar high above the storm, flying above the clouds and the challenges below. God promises that, through Him, we can soar above our troubles and limitations. But what does it mean to "wait on the Lord" and how do we embrace God's power to soar?

After the Death of God
A fresh history of nineteenth-century philosophy's many ideas about secularization. The secularization thesis, which held that religious belief would gradually yield to rationality, has been thoroughly debunked. What, then, can we learn from philosophers for whom the death of God seemed so imminent? In this book, Espen Hammer offers a sweeping analysis of secularization in nineteenth-century German philosophy, arguing that the persistence of religion (rather than its absence) animated this tradition. Hammer shows that Kant, Hegel, Feuerbach, Marx, and Nietzsche, each in their own way, sought to preserve and transform religion's ethical and communal aspirations for modern life. A renewed appreciation for this tradition's generous thought, Hammer argues, can help us chart a path through needlessly destructive conflicts between secularists and fundamentalists today.
Reformed Epistemology and the Structure of Knowledge
This book argues for an underlying congruity in the epistemological programs of Cornelius Van Til and Alvin Plantinga. Through detailed engagement with their distinctive philosophical contexts, a reading is developed that contributes to the prevailing discourse on the theory of knowledge put forward by both thinkers.

The 18th century was a wealth of knowledge, exploration and rapidly growing technology and expanding record-keeping made possible by advances in the printing press. In its determination to preserve the century of revolution, Gale initiated a revolution of its own: digitization of epic proportions to preserve these invaluable works in the largest archive of its kind. Now for the first time these high-quality digital copies of original 18th century manuscripts are available in print, making them highly accessible to libraries, undergraduate students, and independent scholars. The Age of Enlightenment profoundly enriched religious and philosophical understanding and continues to influence present-day thinking. Works collected here include masterpieces by David Hume, Immanuel Kant, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau, as well as religious sermons and moral debates on the issues of the day, such as the slave trade. The Age of Reason saw conflict between Protestantism and Catholicism transformed into one between faith and logic -- a debate that continues in the twenty-first century.++++The below data was compiled from various identification fields in the bibliographic record of this title. Greek Mythology
This volume provides an introduction to ancient Greek mythology through the theme of cosmogonies and theogonies --myths of origins that told the creation of the world and the birth and succession of the gods. Greek Mythology additionally features important foundational myths related to the early stages of humankind, such as the sequence of the Five Races, the first sacrifice, the creation of woman, and the Flood, all part of the core Greek myths about the beginnings of the world. The centerpiece of the volume is Hesiod's Theogony as well as parts of Works and Days which are, along with the Iliad and Odyssey, the earliest Greek literary texts preserved. The volume includes freshly translated excerpts from these canonical sources along with discussions of alternative cosmogonies and theogonies in the Greek tradition, in a rare feature for myth overviews. Beyond providing an overview of the central stories, Greek Mythology reveals myriad aspects of the myths, such as their literary form and performative contexts, their relationship to Near Eastern myths, their religious relevance and ritual function, and their reception, both in later antiquity and in modern times.

Mercury & Venus - renamed
Following the indications in the collected work of Rudolf Steiner, the names of Mercury and Venus have been exchanged, swapped - but have they really been renamed, and if so, what does that mean in practice?A simple yes would imply that everything has been renamed, everywhere, all the time. A simple no would mean that there has been no renaming at all. In both cases nothing much has happened in reality - if anything, it were only all about words. But here, as is often the case, the starting point is wrong: the question itself cannot be put in this way. In the book, first the question is rephrased, then a method given to obtain insight into where and when there has been renaming and where not. It uses ordered groups of planets, while taking into account symbols and visual representations. This method can also be used by you, for exploring further areas of research which include Mercury and Venus. The book continues with a discussion of the specific relations of Mercury and Venus to different topics, like metals or colours and so on. For each topic the relation is indicated and where to find the supporting quotes, either in English or in the original German. Some of the results remain in harmony with common views on such relationships of Mercury and Venus to certain themes - other results, however, are stunning. To get the results presented here took several years - working on it at intervals, moving back and forth between coming to final conclusions and then rejecting them again. This text is therefore a well-condensed version of hundreds of pages with notes and quotes. It contains more than 20 figures, more than 20 tables and an index of keywords. The author is astronomer and member of the school of spiritual science and carries out research to build the bridge between the natural and spiritual sciences.www.lanz-spaan.ch/en/spaan/
Biblical Scriptures as Foundation for Understanding
Unveiling the Mystery of the Blood of Jesus
The Chrisom Thread, symbolizing the anointing and life-giving power of Jesus' blood, represents the divine filament that weaves together mercy, energy, and transformation. This sacred thread connects heaven's throne to humanity's deepest needs, carrying power and authority that flows from God's mercy seat in heaven. As a result, the blood of Jesus Christ can bring multiple levels of transformation and deliverance when humanly understood. This is possible because the blood spilled on Calvary's cross achieved monumental victories, annihilating Satan's works and exalting God's purposes in our lives."And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb" (Revelation 12:11, KJV). When Satan designs ungodly plans, pleading the blood of Jesus in faith collapses these schemes, canceling curses, hexes, spells, voodoo, and evil sacrifices. Every chain is broken, and God turns evil intentions into blessings for His children (Genesis 50:20).The blood also purges our conscience and hearts from the works of the flesh, preparing us to accommodate the Holy Spirit. "How much more shall the blood of Christ...purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" (Hebrews 9:14, KJV). It washes away guilt, shame, and condemnation, securing abundant living. With confident assurance, every child of God is protected under the sacrificial blood, complete before Him from all sins. The blood raises visions, dreams, and life purposes beyond human strength. As Scripture affirms, "For as the rain cometh down...So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth" (Isaiah 55:10-11, KJV), the blood hallows projects and clears paths for divine accomplishment. The previously distant or unimaginable becomes possible through divine speed.Engaging the blood of Jesus is crucial, as it "speaks better things than the blood of Abel" (Hebrews 12:24, KJV), testifying to mercy, peace, and strength. Invoking the blood reminds us of Christ's ultimate sacrifice and aligns us with His victory. The blood transforms our lives, cleansing us from sin and positioning us for spiritual growth. It empowers us to live purposefully, overcome obstacles, and align with God's will. This book unveils the profound mystery of Christ's blood in a magnificent tapestry of insight. As you read, let your heart be open to these revelations from God.
God Is Undead
The undead are neither alive nor dead. They are animate yet non-living. In God Is Undead, Lorenzo Chiesa and Adrian Johnston contend that true unbelief today sees the divine precisely as exemplifying such undeath. In God Is Undead, Chiesa and Johnston delve into and deepen the insights of both Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalysis as regards unbelief. This analytic perspective reveals that modern atheisms appealing to a scientific worldview as an antidote to orthodox religious faith end up as heterodox theisms of Nature, Reason, Knowledge, or even the Market itself. They ironically place new gods of their own atop the graves of the traditional gods of old. They likewise forget the religious influences underlying modern science. One of the most important and novel contributions of God Is Undead is its gesture of dignifying unbelief as something that is able to contain multitudes. Far from a unified, homogeneous, and flatly bleak position, irreligiosity can come in many forms whose convergences and divergences contain possibilities for creatively thinking and living differently. This book shows such variegated non-belief in action. We have two unbelievers vigorously disagreeing with each other about fundamental ontological matters, thereby bringing to light critical questions going to the very heart of any unbelief whatsoever: Can an atheism, as thoroughly atheistic, ever believe in or be certain of itself? What is the role of agnosticism, and specifically of an agnosticism strengthening (rather than contrasting with) atheism, in all this? How might different unbelievers become what Freud calls "comrades in unbelief" without erecting new gods in the process?
The Age of Reason
The Age of Reason is an important work in the American Deist movement. Paine worked on it continually for more than a decade, publishing it in three parts from 1794 through 1807. It quickly became a best-seller in post-Revolution America, spurring a revival in Deism as an alternative to the prevailing Christian influence. The Age of Reason presents common deistic arguments; for example, it highlights what Paine saw as corruption of the Christian Church and criticizes its efforts to acquire political power. Paine advocates reason in the place of revelation, leading him to reject miracles and to view the Bible as an ordinary piece of literature, rather than a divinely-inspired text. In The Age of Reason, he promotes natural religion and argues for the existence of a creator god. The cool rationale of Paine's The Age of Reason influenced religious thinking throughout the world; and its pervasive influence continues to the present day.
