Auch zum menschlichen Gehirn existiert ein chaostheoretischer Zugang. Die Kommunikation der Nervenzellen erfolgt 羹ber eine komplexe Verschaltung der Synapsen, deren Kontakte nicht statisch, sondern wandelbar sind. Daraus ergibt sich die Frage, inwieweit das Gehirn eine nichtlineare Dynamik aufweist und somit der Chaostheorie unterworfen ist. Anja Buser erl瓣utert in ihrer Publikation zun瓣chst die Begriffe der Chaostheorie und der Selbstorganisation als Grundlage f羹r das weitere Vorgehen. Ausgehend von einer Diskussion des Begriffes Stress wird n瓣her auf die Hintergr羹nde und die Beschaffenheit sowie auf die Evaluation des Anti-Stress-Trainings f羹r Kinder eingegangen. Das AST ist ein Pr瓣ventionsprogramm, das auf dem Stresskonzept von Lazarus basiert und Kindern und Jugendlichen helfen soll, negative Stressverarbeitungsstrategien abzubauen und daf羹r positive Strategien aufzubauen. Dabei bedient es sich unterschiedlicher Methoden, sodass kognitiv-behaviorale Stressbew瓣ltigungsprogramme, Entspannungsverfahren und das Stressimpfungstraining von Meichenbaum in einer modifizierten Form im AST ihre Verwendung finden. Evaluationsstudien, die n瓣her erl瓣utert werden, zeigen die Wirksamkeit des in unterschiedlichen Varianten entwickelten Pr瓣ventionsprogrammes, dessen Hauptziele Stressreduktion und Stressmanagement sind. Jedoch wird darauf hingewiesen, dass noch weitere Studien von N繹ten sind.
Effects of brain trauma on learning outcomes

Among learners, there are several events in their day to day activities, including concussion, maltreatment, physical activities, and toxic stress that may result in brain trauma. Traumatic brain injury may involve a violent blow or jolt on the head. Traumatic brain injury (TBI) can also be caused by an object that is able to penetrate brain tissue. Concussion and other traumatic experiences profoundly limit brain development among children thus hampering their cognitive functions. The growing volume of the literature suggests that concussion adversely impacts various aspects of lives, including home, school, and social relationships among children and adolescents. According to a 2013 clinical report of the American Academy of Pediatrics, there are potential vulnerabilities to academic functioning following concussion. Multiple qualitative studies indicated that children may suffer from several post-concussion symptoms, such as headaches, fatigue, slowed processing of information and impaired concentration, which negatively impact academic performance.

The Alchemy of Fairy Tales, Vol. 1, provides a template for today's scholars of fairy tales andof depth psychology for use in both the academic and clinical settings. The Jungian Scholar would have, from Jung's Collected Works, knowledge of the relevance of alchemical sciences to depth psychology.Few, if any, of the Grimm's Fairy Tales are accompanied by a multifaceted depth psychology analysis. Some promote a variety of archetypal themes but, to my knowledge, none overtly promote the complete analysis of individual fairy tales with the significance of alchemy. The Alchemy of Fairy Tales centers on a depth psychological approach in the alchemical analyses. These analyses show relevance in the domains of personal and collective dynamics of individuation and, therefore, co-creation. Using original translations of Grimm's Fairy Tales, supported by a half century of clinical practice, this text exposes a variety of mental health dysfunctions as they move along a continuum from dysfunction to wellness-the movement from pathologizing to psychologizing symptoms. The main themes in this book are: Alchemy as vibrational sciences; astrology, numerology, colors, chakras, sacred geometry, and spirituality and, through the use of imagination, are recognized and explored through the analysis of four Grimm's Fairy Tales. From the portal of a Depth Psychology clinical practice, recognition of the wholeness in each Fairy Tale become analogous to the individuation process and, ultimately, the Self archetype. Story, whether from a myth, dream or Fairy Tale, when experienced from the psycho-spiritual dynamic of co-creation, represents wholeness recognized through the evolution of consciousness.
