A Journey
This photographic collection is a testament to my deep-rooted passion for travel. Throughout my life, I've always been drawn to new destinations, as they've offered me invaluable chances to broaden my cultural, social, and geographical horizons. Growing up in a small European town, I set out on a journey to New York City at the age of 21. I lived there for almost two decades. The pandemic's grip in 2020 closed doors but unexpectedly opened new roads. Unable to fly to Europe to see my family or patiently wait out the uncertainty, I chose a different path: a solo road trip across the United States. This wasn't initially a book project; it was a personal quest. Traveling alone, my iPhone became my constant companion, capturing the essence of landscapes and serendipitous moments, free from self-portraits. Those images, stored away for a few years, eventually revealed their true purpose.
