Des Weiteren soll die empirische Untersuchung aufzeigen, welche Medaillenwerte f羹r die jeweiligen L瓣nder zu erwarten sind. In diesem Zusammenhang wird untersucht, warum die Differenzen im Medaillenspiegel zwischen Deutschland und Gro?britannien sowie den USA immer gr繹?er werden und ob es f羹r diese Entwicklung noch weitere Einflussgr繹?en gibt. Zudem soll diese Untersuchung einen Ma?stab liefern, damit die Verantwortlichen des Leistungssports den sportlichen Erfolg bei Olympischen Spielen auf einer theoretischen Basis beurteilen und mit anderen Nationen vergleichen k繹nnen. Auf diese Weise besteht ebenso die Chance m繹gliche Fehlerquellen der nationalen Hochleistungssportf繹rderung aufzudecken. F羹r die Berechnungen wurde eine Regression vorgenommen. Die Ergebnisse der empirischen Untersuchung dienen als Grundlage, um zum Schluss der Arbeit die Vorteilhaftigkeit der anderen Leistungssportsysteme darzulegen und Optimierungspotenziale f羹r Deutschland zu erarbeiten.

"One Day at a Time" is a photojournal by Mei Shen (trail name "Click") about her adventures on the Appalachian Trail on the East Coast of the United States. Her journey started from late March of 2019 and ended in mid-September of the same year. Throughout her 168 days of trail time, she went through harsh snow, torrential rain, and pleasant sun. Canyoning in the Pacific Northwest
Canyoning (or canyoneering) is the sport of exploring canyons using a variety of techniques such as scrambling, climbing, wading, swimming, and rappelling. The term is most often used to describe the descent of technical canyons requiring ropes, harnesses, and other specialized gear. Like mountain peaks, canyons are extremely diverse and vary widely in level of difficulty. Dry canyons are generally easier in terms of rigging and preparation compared to those with flowing water. The more water that's present, the more difficult the canyon. This manual is a technical reference for intermediate-level recreational canyoning; one that's tailored to the Pacific Northwest. Um die Forschungsfrage zu beantworten, wurde eine quantitative Analyse in Form einer multiplen Regression ausgew瓣hlt. Dadurch soll die Auswirkung verschiedener on-court Statistiken auf die Spielergeh瓣lter bei professionellen NBA Spielern festgestellt werden. Die Vereinbarkeit einer dualen Karriere aus der Perspektive semiprofessioneller Fu?ballspieler. Eine empirische Analyse
Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2019 im Fachbereich Sport - Sport繹konomie, Sportmanagement, Note: 1,3, Universit瓣t Bayreuth (Institut f羹r Sportwissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Lehrstuhl Sportwissenschaft II Sport Governance und Event Management, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Masterarbeit befasst sich mit der Fragestellung, inwiefern semiprofessionelle Fu?baller (SPF) eine duale Karriere, bestehend aus sportlicher T瓣tigkeit und der parallelen Herausbildung einer Berufsqualifikation (BQ), vereinbaren. Die empirische Vorgehensweise liegt in einer Methodentriangulation aus einer qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse (QI) nach Philipp Mayring und verschiedenen multivariaten Analyseverfahren. Die QI von drei problemzentrierten Interviews (PZI) mit SPF nach Andreas Witzel erm繹glichte die Generierung von Hypothesen. Ein daran orientierter halbstandardisierter Online-Fragebogen wurde zufallsgesteuert von 155 SPF vollst瓣ndig ausgef羹llt. Nach einer explorativen Faktorenanalyse konnte der Datensatz daraufhin einer multiplen sowie einer bin瓣ren logistischen Regressionsanalyse unterzogen werden. Ist die M繹glichkeit einer Vereinbarkeit f羹r SPF gegeben und wie stellt sich die Kombination in der Realit瓣t dar? Diesen Fragen werden in der vorliegenden Arbeit auf den Grund gegangen. Ausgehend von einer definitorischen Abgrenzung relevanter Begriffe werden verschiedene Verbandsstatuten, sowie das Ligasystem betrachtet, um den Weg f羹r die Herausbildung einer Definition des SPF zu ebnen. Der Terminus der dualen Karriere wird definiert und der Status quo dualer Karrierem繹glichkeiten aufgezeigt. Nach Abschluss des theoretischen Teils werden qualitative Experteninterviews durchgef羹hrt, die als Grundlage einer quantitativen Erhebung in Form eines Fragebogens dienen soll. Aus den empirisch fundierten Daten werden Hypothesen abgeleitet, gepr羹ft und Forschungsfragen detailliert beantwortet. Sakasa Kebari - Die Tenkara Fliege
Die Sakasa Kebari, auch "Tenkarafliege" genannt, ist ein uraltes, traditionelles, japanisches Fliegenmuster. Sie zeichnet sich durch ihre speziell nach vorne gerichteten Hecheln aus, die ihr im Wasser das "Pulsen" erm繹glichen, eine besondere Bewegungsform, die diese Fliege "lebendig" erscheinen l瓣sst. Es ist eine sehr einfach zu bindende Fliege, die, anders als viele westliche Bindemuster, kein lebendes Vorbild imitiert, sondern ein Reizmuster darstellt. Bindetechnisch gesehen ist sie eine Nassfliege, die aber bei entsprechender Bindeweise auch als Trockenfliege, Nymphe oder sogar als Streamer ausgef羹hrt werden kann. Anders als bei westlichen Fliegenmustern gibt es bei der Sakasa nur eine Grundbindeweise, welche jedoch nach eigenem Geschmack abge瓣ndert, erweitert oder umgestaltet werden kann. In diesem Buch zeige ich meine pers繹nliche Art dieses japanische Traditionsmuster zu binden.

Coast to Coast
The Coast to Coast was devised by Alfred Wainright and first described in his guide published in 1973. He describes the route in 12 stages; it took me 13 days. I measured it as about 187 miles long (300 km). It traverses three national parks - the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. The walk is extremely varied passing from the dramatic granite pikes and becks of the Lake District to the fascinating Westmorland limestone pavement. Perhaps the most delightful section is that of the Yorkshire Dales from Kirkby Stephen, over Nine Standards and then along the Swale from Keld to Reeth. The C2C starts with a coastal walk along the sandstone cliffs of St Bees Head and finishes satisfyingly with a similar stretch of the Cleveland Way along the shale and mudstone cliffs from Hawkster to Robin Hoods Bay. The idea of a route from the Irish to the North Sea is beguiling and Wainwright cleverly used parts of bridleways and ancient tracks to link the three national parks but there is too much road and the route feels contrived. I'm glad I did it, however, and enjoyed much of it, apart from the tedious stretch from Richmond to Ingleby Arncliffe across the Vale of Mowbray. Looking back, I most enjoyed the Lakes, despite the rain and storms because I know them so well. And I enjoyed the easy day from Keld to Reeth with Scharlie and Bridget, not least because of their obvious pleasure in the landscape and flora
