Ingram 出版
2022/11/23 出版

The Autodesk(R) Inventor(R) CAM 2023: Milling Fundamentals guide focuses on instructing new users on how to use the Inventor CAM add-on to create milling toolpaths. The guide begins with an introduction to the overall Inventor interface and explains how to manipulate your 3D model to change its orientation and view display. Through additional hands-on, practice-intensive curriculum, you will learn the key skills and knowledge required to take the 3D model, set it up in the CAM environment, and assign the 2D and 3D milling toolpaths needed to generate the CNC code required by milling machines. Topics CoveredNavigate the Inventor software interface to locate and execute commands.Use the model orientation commands to pan, zoom, rotate, and look at a model.Assign visual styles to your models.Locate, modify, and create tools in the Tool Library.Set up machining operations using Inventor CAM.Create 2D Milling, 3D Milling and Drilling toolpaths using the Inventor CAM interface.Use the Simulation option to visualize toolpaths.Import a tool library.Create a toolpath template.Post process an Inventor CAM setup to output the CNC code required to machine a model. PrerequisitesAccess to the 2023 version of the software, to ensure compatibility with this guide. Future software updates that are released by Autodesk may include changes that are not reflected in this guide. The practices and files included with this guide are not compatible with prior versions (e.g., 2022).As an introductory guide, Autodesk(R) Inventor(R) CAM 2023: Milling Fundamentals does not assume prior knowledge of Autodesk Inventor CAM. However, this guide will not provide instructional content on how to create 3D models using the Inventor modeling tools. Its focus is solely on generating 2D and 3D milling and drilling toolpaths once models are created. The Autodesk(R) Inventor(R) 2023: Introduction to Solid Modeling guide should be used to learn to create 3D models. It is recommended that users have prior experience with the Windows operating system, knowledge of 3D model creation/modification, and an understanding of the CNC milling process.

Statistics Applied with Excel

Springer 出版
2022/11/19 出版

This book shows you how to analyze data sets systematically and to use Excel 2019 to extract information from data almost effortlessly. Both are (not) an art!The statistical methods are presented and discussed using a single data set. This makes it clear how the methods build on each other and gradually more and more information can be extracted from the data. The Excel functions used are explained in detail - the procedure can be easily transferred to other data sets. Various didactic elements facilitate orientation and working with the book: At the checkpoints, the most important aspects from each chapter are briefly summarized. In the freak knowledge section, more advanced aspects are addressed to whet the appetite for more. All examples are calculated with hand and Excel. Numerous applications and solutions as well as further data sets are available on the author's internet platform. This book is a translation of the original German 2nd edition Statistik angewandt mit Excel by Franz Kronthaler, published by Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature in 2021. The translation was done with the help of artificial intelligence (machine translation by the service DeepL.com). A subsequent human revision was done primarily in terms of content, so that the book will read stylistically differently from a conventional translation. Springer Nature works continuously to further the development of tools for the production of books and on the related technologies to support the authors.

World War Two Simulated

2022/11/16 出版

This book examines how World War Two is simulated through serious computer games, such as first-person shooters, flight and tank simulators, and grand strategy games. It argues that a particular dynamic emerges in these 'simgames', especially when curious players begin to look beyond gameplay for how to understand the past. This points them toward a wide range of 'simtexts'-anything from game manuals or online resources such as YouTube, to published material in the popular sphere or even monographs by professional historians. This is important because major events like World War Two continue to feature in a wide range of game genres, and this engagement demonstrates how we are learning about the past outside of traditional mechanisms such as classrooms, teachers or textbooks. Utilizing interdisciplinary methods, this volume foregrounds the experience that simgames provides to players, especially in how they reconfigure and reimagine history. Despite its visceral power and instructive potential, the simulated digital experience created by simgames curates World War Two and other global events of similar magnitude within constrained frames that ignore much of what actually happened in the past. This suggests that as computer games continue to increase in power and fidelity-as seen with the expanding scope of virtual reality-then the range of what can be simulated will grow too. This will raise concerns about what is morally acceptable to be simulated, and what should remain unplayable.

Large-Scale Annotation of Biomedical Data and Expert Label Synthesis and Hardware Aware Learning for Medical Imaging and Computer Assisted Intervention

Luping,Zhou  著
Springer 出版
2022/11/04 出版

This book constitutes the refereed joint proceedings of the 4th International Workshop on Large-Scale Annotation of Biomedical Data and Expert Label Synthesis, LABELS 2019, the First International Workshop on Hardware Aware Learning for Medical Imaging and Computer Assisted Intervention, HAL-MICCAI 2019, and the Second International Workshop on Correction of Brainshift with Intra-Operative Ultrasound, CuRIOUS 2019, held in conjunction with the 22nd International Conference on Medical Imaging and Computer-Assisted Intervention, MICCAI 2019, in Shenzhen, China, in October 2019. The 8 papers presented at LABELS 2019, the 5 papers presented at HAL-MICCAI 2019, and the 3 papers presented at CuRIOUS 2019 were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions. The LABELS papers present a variety of approaches for dealing with a limited number of labels, from semi-supervised learning to crowdsourcing. The HAL-MICCAI papers cover a wide set of hardware applications inmedical problems, including medical image segmentation, electron tomography, pneumonia detection, etc. The CuRIOUS papers provide a snapshot of the current progress in the field through extended discussions and provide researchers an opportunity to characterize their image registration methods on newly released standardized datasets of iUS-guided brain tumor resection.

Autodesk Revit 2023

To take full advantage of Building Information Modeling, the Autodesk(R) Revit(R) 2023: Fundamentals for Structure guide has been designed to teach the concepts and principles of creating 3D parametric models of structural buildings from engineering design through construction documentation. This guide is intended to introduce you to the user interface and the basic building components of the software that makes Autodesk(R) Revit(R) a powerful and flexible structural modeling tool. The goal is to familiarize you with the tools required to create, modify, analyze, and document a parametric model. The examples and practices are designed to take you through the basics of a full structural project, from linking in an architectural model to construction documents. Topics CoveredIntroduction to the Autodesk Revit software.Navigating the Revit workspace and interface.Working with the basic sketching and modifying tools.Creating levels and grids as datum elements for the model.Understanding Revit families and components.Understanding the project browser and working with views.Starting a structural project based on a linked architectural model.Creating a 3D building model.Adding structural columns and walls.Adding foundations and structural slabs.Structural reinforcement.Beams, trusses, and framing systems.Analytical models and placing loads.Project practices to reinforce learning.Setting up sheets for plotting with text, dimensions, details, tags, and schedules.Creating details. PrerequisitesAccess to the 2023.0 version of the software, to ensure compatibility with this guide. Future software updates that are released by Autodesk may include changes that are not reflected in this guide. The practices and files included with this guide might not be compatible with prior versions (e.g., 2022).This guide introduces the fundamental skills in learning how to use the Autodesk Revit software, with a focus on the structural tools. It is highly recommended that students have experience and knowledge in structural engineering and its terminology.
