Polymeric Composites in Road and Bridge Engineering
Roads, bridges, airports, and ports are multirole transportation infrastructure assets, which rely heavily on asphalt, cement, and aggregates in traditional civil engineering. Multirole transportation infrastructures should be resistant enough against structural loads and vehicle loads. Advances in Angle-Only Filtering and Tracking in Two and Three Dimensions
Two-dimensional bearing-only filtering (BOF) arises in many real-world tracking problems, including underwater tracking using a passive sonar, aircraft surveillance using a passive radar, navigation of a robot using a passive sonar, and undersea exploration of natural resources using sonar. BOF using a single sensor is also a challenging nonlinear filtering problem due to poor observability and the nonlinear measurement model. This filtering problem and associated tracking problem have been studied extensively.Three-dimensional angle-only filtering (AOF) is a two-dimensional counterpart of BOF . Real-world AOF problems include passive ranging using an infrared search and track (IRST) sensor, passive sonar, passive radar in the presence of jamming, ballistic missile and satellite tacking using a telescope, satellite to satellite passive tracking, and missile guidance using bearing-only seekers. The number of publications in the AOF and angle-only tracking in 3D is rather limited compared with the corresponding problems in 2D.
Multi-Sensor Systems and Data Fusion in Remote Sensing
Remote sensing is developing rapidly due to progress in many interconnected fields. It includes the emergence of new sensors, development of sophisticated platforms for those sensors, and advances in signal and data processing. The progress in the fields of radar, optoelectronic, acoustic, magnetic, chemical, and other sensors is stunning. Whereas the mentioned sensors are currently more sensitive and accurate, have improved resolutions, data rates, and dynamical ranges, they still have their limitations. The utilization of multi-sensor systems and joint processing of their signals or data has long been considered an effective solution for reducing the disadvantages and best utilizing their strengths. The emergence of new types of sensors creates an opportunity for scientists and engineers to develop new and more capable integrated multi-sensor systems. It is necessary to mention that the users' expectations with respect to the size of the observed area or volume, data resolution, accuracy, speed of operation, and functionality of remote sensing systems are still increasing. Extended frequency bands, improved resolutions, and data rates of the new sensors as well as the common use of distributed sensors increase the influx of data in contemporary multi-sensor systems. These facts pose new challenges for the data fusion algorithms that must often employ the newest achievements from the areas of big data mining, statistical estimation, artificial intelligence, etc. This book contains a collection of papers that provide a fresh insight into the newest developments in the fields of multi-sensor systems and data fusion.

Design and Application of Agricultural Equipment in Tillage System
Agricultural productivity should increase to meet the growing food demand. Tillage is defined as the mechanical manipulation of agricultural soil, and it is an extremely vital part of crop production, particularly for seedbed preparation and weed control. Tillage operations are carried out using mechanical force, commonly with a tractor-drawn tool to achieve the cutting, inversion, pulverization, and disturbance of soil. A significant part of the energy (from fossil fuels) used in crop production is expended in tillage. This energy use results in greenhouse gas emissions. It is essential that we reduce energy use (hence, greenhouse gas emissions) to achieve sustainable farming practices and improve crop production and design new tillage tools or optimize the existing tools.Although the design and evaluation of tillage tools are generally carried out using analytical methods and field experiments, with recent technological improvements, computer technology has been used for the design and evaluation of tillage tools. Additionally, sensor technology can improve the efficiency of tillage tools. This Special Issue collated innovative papers that make a significant contribution to the design and application of agricultural equipment in tillage systems. It involved original research and review papers from different research fields, such as agricultural engineering, engineering simulation, and precision agriculture.

Detection of Diabetic Retinopathy Using Deep Learning
In this book, a deep learning technique called Convolution Neural Network (CNN) is deployed for determining the level of DR with accuracy. Hence, for training, this network, fundus image dataset from a public resource called Kaggle is utilized. But, before feeding the dataset into a deep learning model, the images are pre-processed using the libraries present in python, so that the model can accurately classify the test input image into the respective diabetic retinopathy class. Thus, the proposed deep learning model helps in identifying DR automatically at its earlier stage, thus helping in controlling its progression that leads to vision-related problems.
Machine Learning Classification of Epileptic Seizures Based on EEG
Machine Learning Classification of Epileptic Seizures Based on Electroencephalogram using Third-Ordered Cumulants and Adaptive Fractal Analysis Techniques1 IntroductionEpilepsy is one of the serious neurological diseases in the world. Indeed, early detection of epileptic seizures will extend the life span of epileptic patients. In this regard, a lot of efforts has been done to predict epileptic seizures based on electroencephalography (EEG) signals. In literature, there are many feature-based seizure classification methods quoted. No method is proved perfectly in capturing a standard set of features with the dynamics of signals. It is a common neurological disorder caused by the abnormally rapid release of brain nerve cells that is characterized by seizures. The scalp or intracranial Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals obtained in the clinic typically exhibit characteristics such as chaos, nonlinearity, etc.Deep neural networks have made significant advances in the field of machine learning during the last era. The model can learn effective representations from raw data in both supervised and unsupervised contexts by creating a hierarchical or "deep" structure.
Dashboards measure the performance of a supply chain
In the framework of this work, we bring our reflection to the problem of designing a performance management tool for a supply chain through the concept of the dashboard. This contribution is materialized by a robust and hybrid methodology, combining all the elements necessary to establish a dashboard and a system of relevant performance indicators. Our methodology is broken down into four phases. The first phase consists of studying the field of study by determining the external environment and the information needed by the company to design a dashboard. The second phase consists of analyzing the supply chain and modeling it via processes. The third is to design dashboards by process using a structured approach that is broken down into four steps. This approach integrates the result of an empirical study by questionnaire that informs on the important performance indicators used in Moroccan industries. The last phase aims to develop a global dashboard of the supply chain.
