Differentiating metal and non-metal and sorting them was the main requirement of this project. Metal sensor module had been used for detecting metal and LASER diode and LDR had been used for detecting the metal size. By using electromagnetic pushing mechanism, we had stored different size of metals on different bins. A microcontroller had been used to control the whole system and to perform all the necessary calculations and data collections. A set of relays had been used for controlling pushing mechanism. The detection error of the system depends on the metal sensor and LDR sensor. We had developed a prototype model for this project. Required power had been supplied to the prototype using a self-developed power supply unit.

Dynamic bandwidth allocation in Ethernet passive optical networks (EPON) presents a key issue for providing efficient and fair utilization of the EPON upstream bandwidth while supporting the quality of service QoS requirements of different traffic classes. Rare literatures have addressed a qualitative and quantitative comparison of large numbers of DBA algorithms based on their performance indicators. These algorithms are enrolled in a parametric optimization process targeting performance enhancement at highly loaded scenarios this increasing upstream line rates, changing distance between the OLT (Optical Line Terminal) and ONU (Optical Network Unit), increasing size of an Ethernet packet and changing maximum cycle time to 1 ms and altering guard time value). This process reduces time delay around 3.5% for IPACT WITH CBR, 1.725% for UDBA, 1.167% for IPACT with two stages and (1.167% for CPBA. Also, the optimization increases the throughput by 1.3% for IPACT WITH CBR, 1.795% in UDBA, 2.5% for IPACT with two stages and 1.684% for CPBA.
Hybrid Systems-In-Foil
Hybrid Systems-in-Foil (HySiF) is a concept that extends the potential of conventional More-than-More Systems-in/on-Package (SiPs and SoPs) to the flexible electronics world. In HySiF, an economical implementation of flexible electronic systems is possible by integrating a minimum number of embedded silicon chips and a maximum number of on-foil components. Here, the complementary characteristics of CMOS SoCs and larger area organic and printed electronics are combined in a HySiF-compatible polymeric substrate. Within the HySiF scope, the fabrication process steps and the integration design rules with all the accompanying boundary conditions concerning material compatibility, surface properties, and thermal budget, are defined. This Element serves as an introduction to the HySiF concept. A summary of recent ultra-thin chip fabrication and flexible packaging techniques is provided. Several bendable electronic components are presented demonstrating the benefits of HySiF. Finally, prototypes of flexible wireless sensor systems that adopt the HySiF concept are demonstrated.
