聶Qu矇 ha sucedido durante el confinamiento causado por la COVID-19 en la ense簽anza de lenguas extranjeras en la Educaci籀n Superior? 聶Qu矇 pr獺cticas educativas se han llevado a cabo y deben seguirse replicando tras la pandemia? El presente volumen presenta, en la primera parte, una investigaci籀n realizada en 12 universidades espa簽olas sobre c籀mo ha sido el impacto del confinamiento en la ense簽anza de lenguas extranjeras. En la segunda parte se recogen investigaciones y buenas pr獺cticas docentes que han dado respuesta a las dificultades vividas durante el confinamiento y que pueden seguir llev獺ndose a la pr獺ctica tras la pandemia. Language Contact and the History of English
The fact that English has always borrowed heavily from other languages is well known. However, the systemic long-term effects of the processes involved in such contacts are under-researched. This collection of articles takes a more wide-spanning approach, looking at various periods and phenomena across the centuries. The volume focusses on language contact seen as cultural contact, especially with Scandinavia and France, as well as on specific text types from times ranging from Old English to the twentieth century.The volume aims at advancing insight on the ways in which contacts with other languages and cultures influenced the English language as a whole. The book provides new reflections on borrowing and lexical innovation as cultural choices bound to different textual traditions.

Word Order Matters
This book contains a selection of papers on issues of current interest in syntax and morpho-syntax. Most topics pertain to the question of the relation between word order and syntactic structure.
