Partitive Determiners, Partitive Pronouns and Partitive Case
Although the interest in the concept of partitivity has continuously increased in the last decades and has given rise to considerable advances in research, the fine-grained morpho-syntactic and semantic variation displayed by partitive elements across European languages is far from being well-described, let alone well-understood. There are two main obstacles to this: on the one hand, theoretical linguistics and typological linguistics are fragmented in different methodological approaches that hinder the full sharing of cross-theoretic advances; on the other hand, partitive elements have been analyzed in restricted linguistic environments, which would benefit from a broader perspective. The aim of the PARTE project, from which this volume stems, is precisely to bring together linguists of different theoretical approaches using different methodologies to address this notion in its many facets.This volume focuses on Partitive Determiners, Partitive Pronouns and Partitive Case in European languages, their emergence and spread in diachrony, their acquisition by L2 speakers, and their syntax and interpretation. The volume is the first to provide such an encompassing insight into the notion of partitivity.

Mit der Entwicklung der Medien und ihren neuen Erscheinungsformen gehen auch neue Methoden und technische L繹sungen der ?berwindung von Barrieren einher. Sie erlauben es, die Kommunikation 羹ber kulturelle, sprachliche Grenzen sowie Behinderungen der an ihr Teilnehmenden hinauszutragen. The Lexical Domain of Beauty and Its Metaphors in the Anglo-Saxon Formulaic Style
This monograph offers an analysis of the lexical domain of beauty and other additional lexical domains that are figuratively used to refer to beauty, highlighting their central role in the Anglo-Saxon formulaic style. Using different methods from computational and cognitive linguistics, this study is aimed at determining the exact semantic value of these terms, detecting possible patterns of metaphorization and metonymization and identifying strategies behind their usage, ultimately determining how beauty was conceptualised and experienced in early Medieval England and in its literature. This research evidences the importance of this aesthetic idea in the Old English poetry and its aesthetic paradigm and revealing the core associations between beauty and other religious and social ideas.

Anhand des Wort- und Lautgedichts ottos mops [1963] von Ernst Jandl wird dabei die Frage beantwortet, wie sich der handlungs- und produktionsorientierte Ansatz speziell im Literaturunterricht der Grundschule umsetzen l瓣sst, wobei auch die Anschlussf瓣higkeit an den inklusiven Unterricht ber羹cksichtigt wird. Zu Beginn der Arbeit wird der handlungs- und produktionsorientierte Literaturunterricht einer Begriffskl瓣rung unterzogen und in seiner Funktion und Zielsetzung besprochen und anschlie?end mit dem Schwerpunkt der Lyrik vertiefend beleuchtet. Am Beispiel des Wort- und Lautgedichts ottos mops von Ernst Jandl, das zun瓣chst im Hinblick auf grundschulrelevante, didaktische Aspekte und Perspektiven analysiert wird, werden anschlie?end Umsetzungsm繹glichkeiten im Literaturunterricht der Klassen 3 und 4 aufgezeigt. Im Abschluss der Arbeit werden die Ergebnisse nochmals zusammenfassend dargestellt und reflektiert. "Es ist kaum noch m繹glich, 羹ber Gedichte im Unterricht zu sprechen, ohne dass man in die durch die Tradition belasteten Begriffe tritt wie in z瓣hfl羹ssigen Honig". In Speaking of Silence in Heidegger, Wanda Torres Gregory critically analyzes Heidegger'sthoughts on silence. Arguing that silence about silence is a guiding principle in his sparse and often reticent words, Torres Gregory sets out to decipher their elusive meanings. Charting the trajectory of Heidegger's reflections, from Being and Time to On the Way to Language, she shows that he develops his ideas of silence in increasingly closer relations to his also evolving ideas of truth as the unconcealedness of being/beyng and language as disclosive sonorous saying.
