We live in time; we exist in eternity... Our life purpose is to realize this fundamental truth while still living. This understanding, and ultimate experience, is acquired by enhancing our spiritual intelligence. Like cognitive and emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence encompasses distinct elements, capabilities, and potentialities. Among these capabilities, the most significant are the capacity for transcendence and the capability to access elevated states of consciousness. As ancient mystical traditions assert and modern science corroborates, all that exists is brought forth through fundamental consciousness. This includes not only our identity but also the reality we perceive and experience.Specifically, by enhancing our spiritual intelligence, we rise above the pervasive "me first" mentality associated with lower consciousness. By raising the vibrational frequency of our consciousness, we awaken into a more heightened state of reality; a present-focused reality distinctly separate from our past experiences. This is not a quick fix advertised on a late-night infomercial. Rather, it is a dedicated, gradual journey of spiritual and self-discovery. The Sanhedrin was similar to the Supreme Court of the Hebrew people. The Sanhedrin was responsible for interpreting the law especially in the most complex cases. Thus, the priests were acting as both religious leaders interpreting the law, as well as legal authorities. The duties of the priest in these roles can be found in the book of Deuteronomy in chapter 17 and verses 8 through 13.
