Discerning the Meaning of Church Membership at Theophilus Church, Houston, Texas
The purpose of this thesis was to develop a better understanding of the meaning of church membership at Theophilus Church, a non-denominational church started in the summer of 2010. A series of five discussion sessions were held to explore the biblical, historical, and theological meaning of membership in the church. Included in the discussions was a case study of how three other churches of similar approach philosophically and practically do church membership. The discussion sessions resulted in a "Statement on Belonging to Our Community" that will guide the development of a future catechesis for new members.

The Upnishads
I am writing this book with the objective to introduce Vedas to my readers. Vedas are apaurusheya in origin. Apaurusheya means not of human intellect. It has been revealed to the rishis of the long gone era. The rishis are only the transmitters of the Vedas. In tradition they have been conveyed orally down the generations from guru to shishya. That is why they are called shruti. Shruti means that which is heard.However Vedas are no longer prevalent in our society nowadays. We are not a vaidika society anymore. But no matter what, in essence or philosophy Vedas have to be followed as that is what makes a person complete. It must be noted that in the field of spirituality Veda is the only pramana. Just as in the field of vision, eyes are the only pramana. This philosophy comes at the end of each branch of Veda. Hence the name Vedanta or Upanishad . Veda + anta. Originally there were 1180 branches of Vedas. So there were 1180 Upanishads. Now about 200 or so remain. Out of these, Adi Shankaracharya's commentary is there for 10 Upanishads. So in tradition we study these 10 Upanishads. Adi Shankaracharya chose these 10 Upanishads because Vyasacharya in his Brahma Sutra selects verses from these 10 Upanishads mostly. Then also because each of these 10 Upanishads have their own unique methodology of reaching Brahman. The Upanishads covered in this book are 5 because the work was getting voluminous.

The "Copper Scroll" Bible
Long ago, the inspired Hebrew prophets heralded a mystical temple configured on the cycles of the heavens - the dominion where YHWH resided. To safeguard the theoretical knowledge of astronomy, the custodians encrypted its numerical data onto a scroll disguised as hidden gold and silver treasures. Prophets like Isaiah, Daniel and John hinted about the sealed scroll, which nobody could read even though it promised the elixir of life. Eventually, the custodians copied the treasure list onto a copper scroll to preserve the priceless data for eternity. When the copper scroll was unearthed at Qumran in 1952, its gold and silver treasures captivated imaginations yet, nobody even suspected it was the sealed scroll. But Isaiah had advised to cast aside the covering of silver and gold like a menstruous cloth and write it on a table and note it on a scroll. Accordingly, the numbers themselves were entered onto tables with some forming groups between sets of Greek letters. There were plus + signs between particular numbers and it was fascinating where the subsequent additions had totals which compared to the orbits of the planets together with a cryptic calendar timetable for forecasting the future. The divine revelation materialised when four configurations with the planets resembled the original Paleo Hebrew letters which spelled - The autograph of Y H W H
