Sport, Health and Society
SPORT, HEALTH AND SOCIETY: THE INVERSION OF THE USES OF BODY TECHNIQUES AND ITS CONSEQUENCESEvery civilization has its "body techniques". These techniques enable man to live in harmony with his environment, to work and "live by the sweat of his brow". But man has managed to organize himself in such a way that he lacks nothing without necessarily having to work. The "work-leisure dualism" is the source and resource of "gymnastic and sporting activities". Documentary research, observation and reflection reveal that "gymnastics, physical education, "physical and sporting activities" or "sport" for short, all constitute a response to the concerns and aspirations of man who does not participate directly or participates little in the process of work to produce subsistence, man no longer respecting the laws of nature. "If you don't cultivate your own field, cultivate your own body".

The essays collectively explore the shifting dynamics and power relations between the civic coalitions that pursue the Winter Olympics and the social movements that oppose their efforts. The contributors look at specific Games impacted by dissent and probe the issues that swirled around failed and withdrawn bids. In addition, contributions on the contemporary Olympics describe current or future bids while delving into the campaigns demanding host nations pay attention to economic, social, humanitarian, and environmental concerns. The use of ballet in high-level rhythmic gymnastics training
Among the numerous definitions of rhythmic gymnastics, we can present it as an art and as a sport. As an art, it is conceptualized as the search for beauty, an explosion of talent and creativity, in which bodily expression and technical virtuosity develop together, forming a harmonious whole of movement and rhythm. As a sport, it is essentially a female sport, which requires a high level of development of certain physical qualities, with high performance requirements, aiming for technical perfection in the execution of complex movements with the body and apparatus.

Crowdfunding in German Association Football Clubs: Identifying Supporters' Drivers to Invest
This thesis analyses the potential of crowdlending and crowdinvesting to be a valuable financial alternative for professional football clubs in Germany. Given the increasing importance of crowdfunding in other business areas and the necessity for German football clubs to access alternative approaches to financing, the perception of football clubs and supporters with regard to crowdfunding was investigated. The question is whether the fans, who are associated with the club due to their loyalty, could become financing partners. By applying Commitment-Trust Theory, this study examines the antecedents of supporters behavioural intentions to invest and their effect on the key mediating variables of Fan Loyalty and Trust. Semi-structured interviews with financial managers of the football clubs and an online survey with fans (n = 712) were conducted. This sample data was analysed using Structural Equation Modelling. Among three rival models, the partial-mediating model was able to explain 81.4 % of the variance of the sample data. According to the results, the key driver for supporters' Willingness to Invest is the intrinsic, other-orientated motivation called Perceived Meaningful Contribution. This study has added knowledge to theory by applying the Commitment-Trust framework to crowdfunding motivation within the context of professional German football. Furthermore, the practical contribution is derived from the recommendations for football clubs on how to frame crowdfunding campaigns by highlighting the rewarding feeling of helping their club and the meaningfulness of projects.

High Summer
The updated second edition of a hiking classic: High Summer, the true story of the first thru-hike of Canada's Rocky Mountains. The full end-to-end traverse on foot of Canada's Rocky Mountains is one of North America's greatest hiking challenges. By the late 1980s, it had never been completed. When long-distance backpacker Chris Townsend heard about the route, he couldn't resist it.The Canadian Rockies offer everything a wilderness connoisseur could desire. There are glaciated peaks, forested valleys, remote tracts where solitude can be found, and abundant wildlife-grizzly bears, wolves, moose and wolverines among them. From celebrated national parks in the south, to vast undeveloped regions in the north, the range is filled with natural wonders... many only accessible to a lone traveller on foot.In June 1988, Chris Townsend set out to discover this range for himself. With no set route to follow, he pioneered his own path, first linking established trails, then heading cross-country into a trackless land. He walked, not to be the first to complete the route, but instead to treasure the journey, and above all to spend long enough in the wild for it to come to feel like home. Challenged by rough weather and even rougher terrain, sometimes navigating from suggestions received in frontier settlements or by dead reckoning, his backpacking skills were pushed to the limit. He began the journey as a hiker, but over 1,600 miles had to evolve into something more: an explorer.First published in 1989, this new and updated edition of High Summer features a new introduction by the author, new footnotes, and over 100 black and white photos from the hike, many never before seen. Written by a passionate advocate for wild places, and told with honesty and authenticity, High Summer will take the reader on an engrossing journey into a wilderness that very few people will ever experience for themselves.

HIIT Training on Military Pentathlon Physical Performance
The military pentathlon is a sport that combines 5 events (rifle shooting, obstacle course, swimming with obstacles, grenade throwing, and cross country running) and it is here where low performance of the ESMIL cadets was detected, the objective of the study was to apply an intervention with high intensity HIIT interspersed circuit training. For this, a quantitative research of quasi-experimental approach was applied, with a non-probabilistic sampling by convenience to a group of 7 cadets aged 21.14 簣 0.9 years for 12 weeks, with a training structure of (6 exercise x 20 sec of work x 4 series and a micro recovery of 20 sec and macro of 60 sec). For the collection of the results, a strength evaluation was applied before and after the intervention; once the data were collected, they were analyzed with the statistical program SPSS version 25. With this it was possible to verify that the data complied with normality, the parametric Student's T test for related samples was applied, where it was determined that the 5 strength tests had a significance > 0.05, thus proving the improvement of the cadets' performance.
