Confound It! is a collection of recollections about the good, the better, and the totally messed up among my life's significant events. It also is a call to laugh at oneself and to invite others to do the same. It is an invitation to give joyful recognition to the recollections that shaped our lives, to remember them and to celebrate them. Over the years, readers on my mailing list have enjoyed my reflections and rediscovered their own life-shaping recollections. I see recollections as strong remembrances of the times, even the difficult and painful ones, that should be celebrated and turned for inspection in the sunlight of growth. They are, after all, the events that have shaped the "you" of today. Hoj has been married for fifty-plus years to Marie, the love of his life and together, they have three great adult children and five wonderful grandchildren. Life has been hard but good for Bob Hoj R.Ph. and he thanks Dr Eugene Dewald (PHD - Physical Chemistry; deceased) for allowing him to realize his career aspirations.
