The Five-Year Stellar Stock Index and The Yield On Cost Gold Mine
This is not a story book. This book is an instructional manual based on financial research. Sorry, but it's all about the numbers. To appreciate the powerful investment approach that the FYSSI supports, you will have to understand the numbers. Just simple adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, decimal points and percentages. This is not a get rich quick scheme. If you can grasp the measure and the magnitude of how your investments (big or small) can grow, and how money can make money, you will perhaps feel much better about your monetary future. The intent is to provide a list of stocks that illustrate excellent investment choices. The Five-Year Stellar Stock Index (FYSSI - pronounced "Fizzy") can help you achieve a far better return than the average annual return you can get with an S&P 500 index fund. Gold Wars
Debasing the price of gold to protect the dollar has failed. A new system is now inevitable. The Western media fixation on Bitcoin--price, memetics, and volatility--ignores the strategic resurgence of gold. The narrative framing of the rise of gold ignores the cause: an underlying structural shift. In 2023 and 2024, Chinese gold imports surpassed most Western central banks' entire holdings. China doesn't need to announce a gold standard. It only needs to create conditions where gold becomes more trustworthy than Western fiat. The shift won't require an edict. It will occur by default, when trust fails and metal remains. The new significance of gold isn't driven by inflation fears or chart patterns--it reflects a tectonic restructure, a repricing of trust. Not trust from the public--but from institutions. Central banks keep buying gold. There was no mania. Just a quiet shift from paper gold promises to physical certainty. Then suddenly the Bank of International Settlements gave the transition a big shove via Basel III. Power is flowing East. China and Russia have drawn in massive amounts of gold while dumping Treasuries. The BRICS will unveil a gold backed e-CNY to compete with the dollar. Simultaneously, they are forcing the US debt back home in exchange for real assets, choking the Fed/Treasury on the mountain of paper, and grabbing the financial power. This momentous shift is already underway Western banks, lacking the gold to cover their obligations, are increasingly trying to financialize the problem. A Chinese edition of the original edition of Gold Wars was published by the prestigious Shanghai Jiao Tong University Press.

Your Money and Your Mind
When it comes to money, there are some things we all have in common: the thoughts, worries and attachments we give it. For many people, money is no longer viewed as a source of energy that can help us find the meaning in our lives, but has rather become the meaning itself. But what if it's possible to live more intentionally and abundantly with our finances? Your Money and Your Mind invites you to rethink your relationship with money by taking a closer look at who you truly are and what really matters to you. It takes you on a journey through modern psychology and the true nature of our minds, while leaning into philosophical and spiritual wisdom from around the world and throughout the ages. Through the lens of his lived experience as a Chartered Financial Planner, helping hundreds of individuals and businesses manage their money, author Adam Cockerham explores just how significant a role our minds can play in the manifestation of our financial lives. This isn't just a theoretical journey. This is a deep, reflective, practical book that guides you through real-world examples of everyday financial decisions. It covers spending and saving, retirement planning, financial hardship, investing, debt and much more. In Your Money and Your Mind, you will learn how to: Understand the mechanics of how your thoughts shape your realityAdopt wisdom from global cultures, both ancient and contemporaryApply this understanding to your financial life by exploring case studies and healthier approachesLive more freely, at peace with moneyAt its core, this book is about looking internally first. When you better understand yourself, your experiences and the nature of your mind, your relationship with life and money can change in a powerful and lasting way.
Even More Than Money
"Both powerful and deeply needed" --Cary Carbonaro, CFP(R), MBA, author, Women and Wealth"Twenty real stories from advisors sharing what they've actually seen" --Carl Richards, author, Your Money"Genuinely transformative" --Tim Maurer, CFP(R), RLP(R), author, Simple Money *** What if the greatest risk isn't running out of money--but running out of life before you use it? Most people approach money backwards. They obsess over the mechanics--the budgets, the investment strategies, the ever-present desire to get more. They don't stop to consider that money is only a tool. Even More Than Money shares 20 transformative stories told by financial advisors of real people that they have helped. Within these thought-provoking, real-life examples, one thing becomes clear: money isn't just for tomorrow's security, it's for today's purpose. From a corporate executive who traded her corner office for a ticket booth at Wrigley Field, to a couple who spent two decades building their wilderness dream, to a widow who learned that true wealth comes from letting go, these stories reveal what happens when we align our resources with what matters most. Through five powerful frameworks: Living, Changing, Dreaming, Giving, and Enduring, the stories from the financial advisors in this book guide you beyond traditional planning into a richer understanding of money's true purpose. You'll discover: - Why the most successful savers often struggle most with spending- How to give yourself permission to use what you've earned- The art of balancing security with the courage to pursue bold dreams- Why waiting until "someday" may mean never living at all This isn't another book about maximizing returns. It's about maximizing your life. Whether you're approaching retirement, navigating a major transition, or simply questioning whether you're truly living the life you've worked so hard to build, these stories will challenge your assumptions about wealth, security, and what it means to live well. Because the goal isn't just having enough. It's knowing what enough is for.
Introducing Blue to Green
Dear Fellow Airman, The purpose of this publication is to provide you with a practical, consolidated, and military-centric financial guide. My goal is to educate, empower, and improve your quality of life by encouraging you and equipping you with the tools necessary to make wise choices with your money. Bottom-line, I want to prepare you for financial success! Before we dive into the learning process, I would like for you to keep something in mind..."Only you can prevent forest fires." I know...I know. Right now you're thinking, "What the heck does this have to do with my money?" Well, just stay with me for a second. Believe it or not, this famous message from Smokey Bear is more than 60 years old. Though the saying was recently updated to read "wildfires," the principle clearly remains the same--you and I need to be accountable for our actions. This is certainly the case concerning our personal finances. My sincere desire is that you will read and learn many great things from this publication. But my greater hope is that you will actually DO these things, and do them well. An Evaluation of Public and Private Sector Housing Alternatives for Military Families
This study explored the three primary housing alternatives along with their associated benefits and costs for military members at Robins Air Force Base. Using a case study methodology, qualitative and quantitative data were collected from contract documents, cost records, statements and testimonies to Congress, literature, census data, and interviews with civil engineering, contracting, financial management and legal professionals. This data was analyzed to determine which housing alternative seems to provide the best benefits at the lowest costs for military members and the government. The results of the study indicated that private sector alternatives are less expensive than government provided housing. In addition, it appears that the MHPI is reaching its goals of providing housing faster and at a lower cost to the American taxpayer than traditional on base housing. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
