This manual is applicable to all 1969 through 1973 BMW R50/5 R60/5 and R75/5 motorcycles. At the time of Floyd's unexpected demise in 1970, there were a number of manuals that had been completed and were ready for publication. This BMW motorcycle manual is one of those previously unpublished, Floyd Clymer publications. Dated August 1969, this manual was obviously intended to be a 'follow up' from his previous 1967 BMW R50 & R26 series manual. The original 1969 'proof' copy that was included in the Floyd Clymer archives was likely finalized in early 1970. However, as the BMW /5 series of motorcycles remained in production through 1973, we are pleased to present a newly prepared edition of Floyd's work as a service to all BMW motorcycle enthusiasts worldwide.Unfortunately, owners of the 1969-1973 BMW /5 series models are subjected to considerable confusion surrounding the appropriate selection of the multitude of originals and reprints of the various manuals that have recently flooded the marketplace. TRIUMPH 750cc TWINS 1973-1978 WORKSHOP MANUAL

This publication is a reproduction of the 99-0983R revised 1979 edition of the May 1973 Triumph factory workshop manual. It should be noted that the original May 1973 manual, part number 99-0983 was also updated in 1978 using the same part number. However, the R suffix was added to the 1979 revision as it now included a December 1979 supplement 99-7140 for the 1979 (and later) T140E equipped with electronic ignition and the new Lucas RM24 alternator. This manual is applicable to all 1973 to 1978 750cc UK, General Export and USA twins including the T140V Bonneville, T140RV Bonneville, T140E Bonneville the TR7RV Tiger and the TR7V Tiger. As noted previously, the 11-page supplement extends the coverage to include the 1979 and later T140E models. Unfortunately, Triumph was already experiencing financial troubles and it is obvious that they were doing everything they could to cut costs. Consequently, the print quality of these later Triumph factory manuals was somewhat compromised by the re-use of images and text from earlier manuals. It also includes the May 1983 supplement 99-7089 for the 8-valve T140W-TSS. This manual is applicable to all 1979 to 1983 750cc UK, General Export and USA models including the T140E Bonneville, T140E/2 Bonneville, T140E/S Electro Bonneville, TR7 Tiger, TR7T Tiger Trail and the 650cc TR65 Thunderbird 650. The supplement extends the coverage to include the 8-valve 1982 to 1983 750cc TSS and TSX models. Obviously, this manual will also be of use to owners of the 1985-1988 T140 Devon Bonneville. Unfortunately, Triumph was in deep financial trouble by mid-1982 and it is obvious that they were doing everything they could to cut costs. Triumph Motorcycles 1937-1961 Single Cylinder Workshop Manual - All Models 1937-1945 Plus Terrier & Tiger Cub 1953-1961

Masters 1961 5th edition of the 1937-1961 Triumph Single Cylinder workshop manual published in the USA by Floyd Clymer under arrangement with the original publishers C. Arthur Pearson Ltd. of London UK.There are very few workshop manuals that deal with the early single-cylinder Triumph motorcycles. This is likely due to the fact that in 1945 at the end of WW2 when Triumph resumed production of their civilian line of motorcycles they discontinued the manufacture of single-cylinder machines. From that point onwards, they concentrated on their twin-cylinder models and it was not until 1952 that Triumph announced another single, the 150cc T15 Terrier.SINGLE CYLINDER - ALL MODELS 1937-1945: When this manual was originally published in 1949 its primary focus was on the 1937 to 1945 single cylinder motorcycles which included a war-surplus market that was well stocked with ex-military singles. Models covered are: 2H, 2HC, 3S, 3SE, 3SW, 3H, 3HW, 5S, 5SE, 5SW, 5H, 6S, T70, T80 & T90. The bulk of these machines were based on a design that dates back to 1934, which also makes this manual of use to owners of those earlier Triumph singles.TERRIER & TIGER CUB 1953-1961: Ultimately, the 1961 5th edition of this manual was revised and expanded to include the 1953-1961 Terrier and Tiger Cub models. The information included is appropriate for all T15, T20, T20C & T20S models fitted with an external distributor. The engine section includes the 1960 change to energy transfer ignition, plus the change at engine number 57617, when the split line between the main castings was moved to the center line of the cylinder.Many Triumph enthusiasts consider that the 'external distributor' Tiger Cub models brought the 'true' Triumph single cylinder line to a conclusion. This is further supported by the fact that the final workshop manual for the T15, T20, T20C & T20S published under the Triumph name was the August 1964 manual No.8 (part number 906/64) which only included the external distributor models. Consequently, there is some disagreement on the total production with less than 250 units, the most commonly quoted number.Royal Enfield was very adept at utilizing components across their entire model line and this 'sharing' carried over into their workshop manuals. Consequently, many of the sections and illustrations are identified as being appropriate for various models and not necessarily specific to the particular model referenced in the manual title.

234 pages and more than 300 illustrations and charts, size 8.25 x 10.75 inches. This manual is a reproduction of the original Floyd Clymer 100cc and 125cc Sachs Engine workshop manual. However, it has been updated with a 1974 illustrated 'List of Spares' for the 100cc and 125cc Sachs engines. In addition, it includes a 1968 illustrated 'Spare Parts List' for the 1968 to 1971 Sachs 'Enduro', 'Cross Country' and 'Moto Cross' motorcycles that was omitted from the later editions. It has also been expanded to include maintenance and repair data for both the leading link and telescopic fork variants of the 1971 to 1975 Sachs/DKW 'Enduro', 'Boondocker', 'Moto-Cross' and 'Hornet' motorcycles plus a 1972 illustrated 'Spare Parts List' for those models.Obviously, this manual evolved in part due to the Sachs acquisition of both Hercules motorcycles in the late 1950's and DKW in 1966. However, it will also be of use to owners of any other motorcycles that utilized this series of 100cc and 125cc Sachs engines.After the end of World War II, several motorcycle manufacturers were merged or absorbed under the Sachs banner and, in 1968 Sachs introduced their 100cc and 125cc 'Enduro', 'Cross Country' and 'Moto Cross' motorcycles for sale in the USA. The significance of the Sachs, Hercules and DKW mergers would soon become apparent as, while the Sachs motorcycles carried the 'Sachs' logo on the engine case, they featured a 'Hercules' identification plate on the steering head. In addition, Sachs ultimately decided to market their 'Enduros' and 'Scramblers' under the DKW badge and the original Sachs 'Enduro', 'Cross Country' and 'Moto Cross' models disappeared from the USA market in late 1971. However, they were replaced by 125cc DKW 'Enduro', 'Boondocker', 'Moto-Cross' and 'Hornet' models that were mechanically identical to the previous Sachs models, a true case of badge engineering.In 1968 when Sachs introduced their 100cc and 125cc series of 2-stroke engines it was not long before the 'off road' and 'competition' world recognized their durability and performance. Consequently, within a short period of time Sachs engines were in use by a large number of other motorcycle manufacturers. Perhaps the most prominent USA manufacturer being Penton Motorcycles who produced their first competition Sachs powered models in 1968. Floyd Clymer quickly realized that there was a need for service and repair information for these engines and he set about preparation of an appropriate manual in early 1969.

This Workshop Manual is a faithful reproduction of the original Honda Factory Manual for the CB350F and the CB400F four-cylinder models manufactured from 1972 through 1977. The original CB350F released in 1972 ultimately morphed into the 1975 CB400F and the original 'base' CB350F workshop manual was expanded, by the factory, to include a supplement for the CB400F model.Beginning in 1968 and extending through the 1975 model year, the common 'K' suffix often, but not always, changed on an annual basis. 'K0' or occasionally 'F0' was normally used to indicate the first model in the series with updated versions identified as either K or F 1, 2, 3, etc. While the alpha number designations continued in use outside the USA through 1978, in September 1973, American Honda adopted a year identifier within the model number - for example; a CB400F'76 would be a 1976 USA model but in most other countries, that same model would be identified as either a CB400K2 or CB400F1. Setting this potential for confusion aside, we can state that this manual covers the entire 1972 through 1977 range of 350cc and 400cc four-cylinder models.Finally, please note that the text in the original Honda Factory Workshop Manual was translated from Japanese into English. Consequently, some of the phrasing, grammar, punctuation and word usage may be subtly different from that commonly used in the English language. A compilation of two factory manuals, it includes the original 1948 to 1958 '500 Twin' workshop manual plus the later workshop manual for the 1958 to 1963 'Meteor Minor' Sports, De Luxe and Standard Models. PRODUCTION DETAILS: Due to a number of different reasons, there is some confusion surrounding production details, as it is a known fact that the engine and frame numbering procedure did not follow a consistent pattern and, at times, was somewhat random.As the '500 Twin' shared many of its mechanical components with the 'Meteor 700', the earlier manual is appropriate for both of these models. Royal Enfield was very adept at utilizing components across their entire model line and this 'sharing' carried over into their workshop manuals. Consequently, many of the sections and illustrations are identified as being appropriate for various models and not necessarily specific to the particular model referenced in the manual title. The second manual is much more specific to the 'Meteor Minor' and its variants. The only noticeable 'shared' pages are the carburetter settings table and the frame and special tools sections. However, it also includes a 'Airflow' fairing section which is applicable to all models that had that option available. In order to help identify the subtle differences between the various models, the reader is encouraged to review any of the appropriate sections in order to eliminate the possibility of referencing an incorrect 'shared' section.
