Fault Diagnosis of PMSMs and Radar Servo Systems based on Digital Twin
Permanent magnet synchronous motor is widely used in industry because of its small size, low cost, high efficiency and excellent performance. Permanent magnet synchronous motor is gradually becoming an important part of numerical control system. To ensure the stable operation of permanent magnet synchronous motor is a necessary condition to ensure the stable operation of numerical control equipment. In actual production, due to the complex working environment and long working time of permanent magnet synchronous motor, stator windings of permanent magnet synchronous motor are prone to inter-turn short circuit fault. If we do not take effective measures in time, a small failure will become a major failure, resulting in the breakdown of the whole system. If the motor faults are diagnosed according to the historical operation data of the permanent magnet synchronous motor, and the life prediction of the motor winding can ensure the stable and reliable operation of the motor equipment, give full play to the performance of the motor, to reduce economic losses and avoid catastrophic accidents.
Monitoring of Hybrid Power Generation Parameters on Smart Highways
The wind turbines are designed to produce wind energy from the highway due to rapid move of vehicles. The fast growing source of energies are wind and solar. We are using the wind energy as it is freely available everywhere. Due to the movement of vehicles, the wind energy is enormously produced on the highways which are unused. So, we can make use of this energy to produce power and to overcome some problems of electricity. Now, we can place the windmill or wind turbines at the mid of the highway, because it can generate the energy when the vehicles move on the both sides. The generated power is used for nearby streetlights. The energy which is produced by wind turbines due to rapid movement of vehicles on highway is basically controlled from the base station through IOT. The amount of energy that is generated by wind turbines are used for nearby street lights on highway and nearby villages. The major problem with wind energy if fluctuation of wind. Energy will not be constant every time. So, if we use wind turbines on the highway, there will be constant wind due to rapid moving of vehicles.
Rural Electrification Design
Electrical energy is the basic necessity for the economic development of a country due to its importance to human life and occupies the top position in the energy hierarchy. It finds innumerable uses in the home, industry, agriculture, and transport. This study is geared towards the analysis of a Grid-Based Rural Electrification Scheme for the Ekpe-Aggah Community in Rivers State, Nigeria. The method used in achieving this, relies on optimization principles based on iteration & analysis. The essential material used in the design of the distribution network is Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP) technology which was used for the simulation. The results obtained from the analysis showcase a wide-ranging single-line diagram for easy implementation; other results obtained include, short circuit analysis carried out on Bus1, Bus2, Bus3, and Bus4 showing the fault levels of these buses to be 8.767MVA, 3.165MVA, 2.626MVA & 2.331MVA respectively and fault protection coordination was observed that at the occurrence of fault on any of the feeders, the affected feeder is isolated from the rest of the system through the fuse protecting that feeder.
Power Flow and Security Analysis in Electrical Transmission System
The power system engineers dire need of extraordinary methods to optimally analyze, monitor and control various elements of such an advanced complicated system that include economic load dispatch, unit commitment, automatic generation control, state estimation and Optimal Power Flow (OPF). It is a static nonlinear problem that optimizes a specific objective function while satisfying a set of physical and operational constraints imposed by equipment restrictions and security requirements. Power system optimization problems are complex and have non-linear characteristics. There are two ways namely conventional and evolutionary methods. The conventional methods require function to be convex and variables as continuous. However, the power system optimization problems do not have these characteristics. Evolutionary optimization methods have become an alternative to conventional optimization techniques for solving real-world problems having non-convexity, non-differentiability and discontinuity. Though the evolutionary methods find suitable solutions to power system problems, premature convergence and stagnation do not use them directly.
Physics in Easy
I developed this textbook for private tuition (A-level and university) and revised it during lectures at various universities of applied sciences. It contains subsequently edited and colored photos of our blackboard pictures and explains the questions that the pupils and students had during the lessons. The book is available in either German or English and contains vocabulary lists for physical terms. With simple language, little text and lots of pictures, the book tries to present content easily. In order to achieve this, I have made it a habit to note down comprehension problems in class and revise the corresponding text passages. Focus of content: Electric circuits, resistors and capacitors, electric fields, magnetic fields, particles in fields, coils, induction, electric motors, alternating current, three-phase current, oscillations, dipole. Level: High school and university entrance. The solutions to the exercises (blackboard photos from the lessons) are provided on my website badelt.de.
Thermoelectric Devices
Thermoelectric devices exploit the Seebeck and Peltier effects to directly convert temperature differences into electrical energy and vice versa, offering a unique solution for power generation and solid-state cooling. These devices are based on materials with a high thermoelectric efficiency, which depends on optimizing the electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and Seebeck coefficient. The absence of moving parts makes thermoelectric devices reliable and environmentally friendly, suitable for applications ranging from waste heat recovery in industrial settings to precision cooling in electronics and medical devices. Despite their potential, challenges such as material cost and efficiency need to be addressed to fully realize their promise in sustainable energy technologies.
Management's contribution to the creation of a micro-hydropower plant
Here we are at the end of our study entitled: Analysis of the profitability of electrical energy produced by a micro-hydropower plant, the case of KINZONO, given that energy contributes to the economic-social development of a nation, and accompanies human life in its blossoming, we wanted to equip the locality of KINZONO, which is in the commune of MALUKU, with a modern micro-hydropower plant enabling it to leave this rural stage for that of the city. Based on the study of objectively verifiable indicators, we confirm that it is profitable, given its necessity. But more in-depth work on the expectations, objectives and development of the community is essential in order to generalize this micro-power plant model. The decision to set up a rural electrification structure must take into account not only the project's profitability, but also its social impact and its effects on the environment. Rural electrification is an important factor in the development of rural and urban-rural areas, but it is only one ingredient in this process.

Research on Contact Materials for Electromagnetic Relay
Silver tin oxide contact material is widely used in the contacts of electromagnetic relays. Its electrical contact characteristics and reliability theory under various load conditions have always been a research direction that relay manufacturing companies are very concerned about. In order to clarify the failure mechanism of silver tin oxide contact materials under different loads, this paper based on the designed electrical performance simulation experimental system of contact materials, observed the dynamic waveform characteristics of contact closing and breaking, and combined with the durability experiment to point surface topography scanning observation chart, starting from the perspective of arc and material transfer, based on the PSD model, the failure mechanism of the contact material under different loads was studied, and the degradation rules and characteristics of sensitive parameters during the experiment under different load conditions were verified.
Sensorless Control System for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor
From the perspective of sensorless control for PMSM, this book analyzes and integrates the two control methods of high-speed and zero-low-speed ranges, to achieve full-speed control. A composite control based on weighted switching method is established, which effectively combines the good dynamic tracking performance of the model reference adaptive control method in the high-speed range and the high-precision control of the pulse injection method in the zero-low-speed range. The intermediate speed range where the two methods transition is controlled by the weighted method. Multiple control strategies are integrated and weighted according to the characteristics of PMSM operation at different speed ranges, ultimately overcoming the limitation of a single sensorless control method not being suitable for the full speed range. The PI structure of the speed adaptive law in the traditional model reference adaptive system will lead to the problems of reduced speed identification accuracy and poor robustness, the super-twisting sliding mode algorithm in the high-order sliding mode algorithm is proposed to improve the PI structure of the speed adaptive law in the traditional model.

Electronics
Electronics is the science that studies how to control electrical energy by electrical means in which electrons play a fundamental role. It is divided into analogue and digital because its working coordinates choose to obey these two ways of presenting the electrical signals to be processed. In a broader definition, we can say that electronics is the branch of science that studies the use of circuits made up of electrical and electronic components, with the main aim of representing, storing, transmitting or processing information, as well as controlling processes and serving mechanisms. From this perspective, it can also be said that the internal circuits of computers (which store and process information), telecommunications systems (which transmit information), various types of sensors and transducers (which represent physical quantities - information - in the form of electrical signals) are all within the area of interest of electronics.

Multimachine Stability Analysis Using Swing Dynamics
The swing equation is essential for modelling and analyzing the power system dynamics, after being disturbed. Two types of stability i.e., voltage and power angle stability are considered to be vital in the study stability of power system. Power angle stability is being considered as matter of concern in this work. Power angle stability can be measured by analyzing the dynamics of swing equation. The existence of chaos in swing equation is a fact in power system. Chaos can drive the system power angle into instability, as chaos is a fundamental aspect of a nonlinear dynamical system. Instability can also result in a total shutdown of the system. This work presents a novel approach for stability analysis of multi-machine system using swing curve derived from an equation. The proposed method provides advanced techniques to detect instability in power system using swing dynamics and analyze their impact on stability. It reduces qualitative changes in dynamic systems when parameters vary, leading to shifts in stability and the emergence of new states. The stability and security of power systems are crucial for ensuring reliable electricity supply to consumers.
Portable Primary Current Injector for Circuit Breaker Testing
The primary current injector is a device used for efficient commissioning and maintenance tasks at substations. It brings equipment close to the device under test, automates current control, and requires only one operator. This injector performs various tests, including high-current testing using a secondary pass-through technique. A single conductor passes through the equipment to transmit current to the object being tested, reducing preparation time and eliminating power losses. The digitally generated variable frequency waveform is delivered with precision through a power amplifier, ensuring stable operation despite load and voltage fluctuations.Primary current injection testing is essential for large electrical installations like substations, where it injects high currents directly into systems such as circuit breakers. This test assesses system performance under different current loads, particularly testing over-current trip relays connected to circuit breakers. It simulates real-world conditions to ensure reliable breaker operation, preventing potential catastrophic damage from failures during high-current events.

Control Technology of High Speed Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor
Taking high-speed PMSMs as the research object, in-depth study of control system has become an important part of industrial development. The main strategy used in high-speed PMSMs is the vector control system. The rotor position angle is precisely calculated through the control algorithm, thereby improving the operational stability of the system. However, the commonly used mechanical rotor position sensor not only increases the design cost of the vector control system, but also reduces the rotor position observation accuracy and reduces the reliability of the operating system. Using an algorithm to estimate the rotor angle requires the control system to collect accurate three-phase currents, decouple them according to coordinate transformation, and finally estimate the rotor position angle of the permanent magnet synchronous motor by expanding the back electromotive force. Commonly used rotor position detection methods include: sliding mode observer method, model reference adaptive method, and high-frequency signal injection method. For PMSMs with different speeds and different performances, the different algorithms used to observe the rotor position will have different accuracy.

Solar Autoirrigation System Using Soil Moisture Sensor Technology
The main objective of this book was to design a small scale irrigated system that would use water in more well-organized way in order to prevent excess water loss and minimize the cost of labor. The water saving was also an important feature, since there is demand to decrease water loss and to Maximize the efficiency used. The Power consumption must also be monitored. Soil moisture sensors will be placed inside the field, and it will be connected to the microcontroller. The moisture sensor will be continuously sensing the moisture content of the soil and sending it to the microcontroller, where moisture content value will be compared with predefine level. Now whenever the moisture level becomes less than the predefined level, microcontroller will send a command to activate the water pump. Same time microcontroller will activate GSM module, which will send a feedback message to user, stating that the "Pump ON". After the motor gets started and starts supplying water to the field; simultaneously the moisture sensor will be sensing the moisture content and sending the data to the microcontroller.

Finally, the aim of this work is to validate an existing method by means of a case study for a substation grounding grid with a supply voltage of 69kV, which seeks to provide a safe assessment of a system. The study is presented, containing real data obtained from carrying out the tests that will be mentioned.
Classical Electrodynamics
Classical Electrodynamics captures Schwinger's inimitable lecturing style, in which everything flows inexorably from what has gone before. This anniversary edition offers a refreshing update while still maintaining Schwinger's voice. The book provides the student with a thorough grounding in electrodynamics in particular, and in classical field theory in general. An essential resource for both physicists and their students, the book includes a Reader's Guide, which describes the major themes in each chapter, suggests a possible path through the book, and identifies topics for inclusion in, and exclusion from, a given course, depending on the instructor's preference.Carefully constructed problems complement the material of the text. Classical Electrodynamics should be of great value to all physicists, from first-year graduate students to senior researchers, and to all those interested in electrodynamics, field theory, and mathematical physics. The original text for the graduate classical electrodynamics course was left unfinished upon Julian Schwinger's death in 1994, but was completed by his former students and co-authors, who have brilliantly recreated the excitement of Schwinger's novel approach. This anniversary edition has been revised by one of those original co-authors, Kimball Milton.

General Theory of Light Propagation and Imaging Through the Atmosphere
This 2nd edition lays out an updated version of the general theory of light propagation and imaging through Earth's turbulent atmosphere initially developed in the late '70s and '80s, with additional applications in the areas of laser communications and high-energy laser beam propagation. New material includes a chapter providing a comprehensive mathematical tool set for precisely characterizing image formation with the anticipated Extremely Large Telescopes (ELTS), enabling a staggering range of star image shapes and sizes; existing chapters rewritten or modified so as to supplement the mathematics with clearer physical insight through written and graphical means; a history of the development of present-day understanding of light propagation and imaging through the atmosphere as represented by the general theory described. Beginning with the rudimentary, geometrical-optics based understanding of a century ago, it describes advances made in the 1960s, including the developmentof the 'Kolmogorov theory, ' the deficiencies of which undermined its credibility, but not before it had done enormous damage, such as construction of a generation of underperforming 'light bucket' telescopes. The general theory requires no a priori turbulence assumptions. Instead, it provides means for calculating the turbulence properties directly from readily-measurable properties of star images.
Relativistic Dynamics of a Charged Sphere
"This is a remarkable book. [...] A fresh and novel approach to old problems and to their solution." -Fritz Rohrlich, Emeritus Professor of Physics, Syracuse University This reexamination of the classical model of the electron, introduced by H. A. Lorentz more than 100 years ago, serves as both a review of the subject and as a context for presenting new material. The new material includes the determination and elimination of the noncausal behavior in the original equation of motion, and the derivation of the binding forces and total stress-momentum-energy tensor for a charged insulator moving with arbitrary velocity. The final equations of motion are given in a number of different formats to allow them to be readily used by physicists, engineers, and mathematicians.
A Modern Introduction to Classical Electrodynamics
A Modern Introduction to Classical Electrodynamics is suitable for undergraduate students with some background knowledge of the subject and for graduate students, while more advanced topics make it a useful resource for PhD students and researchers. The book places much emphasis on the formal structure of the theory; beginning with Maxwell's equations in the vacuum, it emphasises the central role of gauge invariance and Special Relativity. After introductory chapters which include rederivations of elementary results of electrostatics and magnetostatics, and the multipole expansion, Special Relativity is introduced, and most of the subsequent derivations are performed using covariant formalism and gauge potentials, allowing for greater conceptual and technical clarity compared to more traditional treatments. The second part of the book covers electrodynamics in material media. This includes Maxwell's equations in material media, frequency dependent response of materials and Kramers-Kronig relations, electromagnetic waves in materials, and scattering of electromagnetic radiation. Finally, the text also includes advanced topics, such as the field-theoretical treatment of classical electrodynamics as a modern treatment of radiation reaction. These parts are meant for the advanced reader and are clearly marked, and can be skipped without loss of continuity.
