Desalination Unit Powered by solar energy system
Decreasing the fresh water prices has also been a big concern within the desalination industry. The need for alternatives to providing clean drinking water increased exponentially with a mix of contributing issues such as overpopulation and changes in the environment and climate. In Egypt, grid electricity penetration in rural areas is limited, and is sometimes intermittent even then. Water collected from groundwater wells in new Egyptian communities is brackish, and typically non-potable. In this paper, the feasibility of connecting the grid desalination plant with a solar photovoltaic or wind turbine is studied, with the goal of producing low cost electricity in a sustainable manner. Using SAM 2018.11.11 r4 software package, a comprehensive mathematical models for the Photovoltaic powered Reverse Osmosis (PVRO) and Wind Turbine Reverse Osmosis (WTRO) system have been implemented and designed from an economical point view improving the system recovery rate and product quality.

Planar antennas and miniaturization techniques
In this book, in order to miniaturize planar antennas, we have used the following techniques: the first technique consists in loading a rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (ARDR) with a BST material of very high dielectric permittivity, and we are interested in the modeling and electromagnetic analysis of the antenna before and after stacking with this material. The proposed antenna operates around 2.31 GHz and provides an impedance bandwidth of 20 MHz. The second miniaturization technique used is the ground plane defect structure (GDS), where two microstrip antennas have been fabricated; the first antenna has a narrow bandwidth (272 MHz), while the second, which has a smaller patch area and an overall size of 10 ? 6 mm簡, has a wide bandwidth (greater than 1 GHz). To validate the numerical results, measurements were carried out, with satisfactory results. The three projects discussed clearly demonstrate the importance of these two techniques in the miniaturization of planar antennas.

Thermal design, simulation, and sensing of electronic products
Thermal design refers to the process of fully cooling electronic equipment through relevant technical means to meet the requirements of reliability and service life. Thermal design should be carried out at the same time as electrical design, structural design, and reliability design, and when there is a contradiction, a trade-off analysis should be carried out and a compromise should be solved.
