The concept of harvesting electrical energy onboard has aroused a renewed interest in aircraft industries. In this context a piezoelectric material is proposed that harvests mechanical vibrational energy available in considerable amount from aircraft wing vibrations due to turbulence. Embarked piezoelectric material which is an electro mechanical converter when replaced in wing panels which undergoes mechanical vibrations and there by generating electricity. A static converter transforms the electrical energy into carbon fibre structural batteries placed in wing panels.Electrification of aircraft is not yet implemented because in order to fly the aircraft for a long distance, electricity has to be stored in bulk batteries which increases weight and also consumes large space of the aircraft which is the main problem in aviation industry, so we are developing a structural carbon fiber composites with battery functionality. These devices can withstand structural loads while simultaneously storing electrical energy. By designing with enough structural and energy efficiency, these materials enables significant system-level weight reductions by replacing metallic components.

Study of the feasibility of renewable energy in the rural community
The subject is a study of the feasibility of renewable energy in the rural community of Catique, in the district of Gorongosa, Sofala province, in the region of the Vanduzi administrative post, an area outside the Gorongosa National Park (PNG) reserve. On the one hand, it is focused on determining a system for producing electricity in a sustainable, viable way that meets the needs of the Catique community. In order to complete the study, the author used the following methodological tools: a literature review, survey work and data collection using meteonorms software version 7.2 to collect climatological data for the district.The study was carried out in the belief that renewable energies have the function of moving the community without access to electricity towards sustainability, offering residents access to electricity.
Review of Some Special Pulse Width Modulation Techniques
Various forms of energy are needed in business and social life. The conversion and transformation of electrical energy obtained from both renewable energy sources and fossil sources may be required. Direct Current to Direct Current (DC-DC) Converter circuits or Direct Current to Alternating Current (DC-AC) inverters are used in these conversions. These circuits have power switches such as MOSFET, IGBT, and GTO to provide electrical energy to the load. Signals generated by Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) techniques are used to control these power switches. Some special PWM techniques will be examined in this book. First, square PWM and Linear PWM (LPWM) are examined. Square PWM generation technique and DC-DC converter application are made and its effect on the circuit and load are examined. Secondly, the Step Sinus Pulse Width Modulation (SSPWM) technique is reviewed. SSPWM technique is produced and inverter circuit simulation applications are made on various loads. Finally, the generation of Fractional Sine Pulse Width Modulation (FSPWM) and inverter application on different loads are done.

9-level Inverter and Timed Switching System
Many devices and consumers are used according to the type of work that needs to be done during the day in social and business life. While active power consumers represent the useful power they need, reactive power is an undesirable electrical power component at very high values. This book presents an inverter that can produce a 9-level alternating voltage from peak to peak and a switched and timed system that can add active and reactive power components to the load or transmission line at different time intervals. While the converted power quality is ensured by a 9-level inverter in the total conversion time, the active and reactive power components on the load are provided by a pair of reverse-connected and diode-blocking power switches. The proposed system is tested on different loads for different time intervals and many results are obtained. In the results obtained, in addition to obtaining power conversion with low harmonic distortion, power compensation is effectively performed at desired time intervals by effectively changing power components at different time intervals.

Investigation of lateral vibrations in the turbine-generator unit 5
The book analyzes the lateral vibrations of a system essential to the production of electricity in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The study, based on measurements made with twelve sensors and probes, reveals that the vibrations of the guide bearings and the rotor exceed the acceptable limits at speeds of 100 to 250 rpm. These excesses can cause mass imbalances, eccentricity of the axis, and deformations of the coupling shafts. Arduino-based high voltage safety device
The main objective of this projective of this project is to develop a prevention against electrical shock (High voltage) using an Arduino based bracelet. As technology is advancing, so prevention method are also getting smarter. The alteration in AC main supply persistent in homes and industries. The abnormal flow of over voltage may be caused by surges in power system due to lightning and switching impulse or by insulation failure, arcing ground and resonance etc. For this reasons, people (specifically electrician) can get seriously injured during attempting to fix any electrical problems by themselves. It is preferable to have a tripping mechanism to protect the people. Our project mainly aims at protecting the people from over voltages during electrical work using Arduino based bracelet. Our prevention system is consist of Arduino bracelet which contains 9V battery, lights, Arduino nano that detects high voltage around working point, a transmitter that works as e.m.f detector which gives signal to the person during electrical work about high voltage through the wire.
Tapered Beams in Mems
This book addresses important aspects of MEMS designs that are well established in engineering practice but rarely discussed in the standard textbooks. One such aspect is the ubiquitous use of tapered beams in the sensing and actuation elements of MEMS designs. As explained in this book, the tapered beam has distinct advantages over the standard rectangular beam but these advantages are often left unarticulated due to the blind trust in the finite-element models of MEMS devices. In this monograph, the authors take a fundamental, physics-based approach to the modeling of tapered beams in MEMS that is based on a rigorous perturbation analysis of the traditional Euler-Bernoulli beam. The authors demonstrate how perturbation methods combined with symbolic modeling and the tools of computer algebra enable the development of semi-analytical models for tapered-beam MEMS elements. They pay particular attention to the application of these novel models to piezoelectric MEMS energy harvesters with tapered-beam elements, including the development of lumped-parameter circuit models that can be readily used for fast electro-mechanical simulations. Another important aspect of MEMS designs that is extensively addressed in the book is the uncertainty quantification (UQ) of tapered-beam MEMS elements using both Monte Carlo and polynomial chaos expansion methods.
