Arduino-based high voltage safety device
The main objective of this projective of this project is to develop a prevention against electrical shock (High voltage) using an Arduino based bracelet. As technology is advancing, so prevention method are also getting smarter. The alteration in AC main supply persistent in homes and industries. The abnormal flow of over voltage may be caused by surges in power system due to lightning and switching impulse or by insulation failure, arcing ground and resonance etc. For this reasons, people (specifically electrician) can get seriously injured during attempting to fix any electrical problems by themselves. It is preferable to have a tripping mechanism to protect the people. Our project mainly aims at protecting the people from over voltages during electrical work using Arduino based bracelet. Our prevention system is consist of Arduino bracelet which contains 9V battery, lights, Arduino nano that detects high voltage around working point, a transmitter that works as e.m.f detector which gives signal to the person during electrical work about high voltage through the wire.

One such aspect is the ubiquitous use of tapered beams in the sensing and actuation elements of MEMS designs. As explained in this book, the tapered beam has distinct advantages over the standard rectangular beam but these advantages are often left unarticulated due to the blind trust in the finite-element models of MEMS devices. In this monograph, the authors take a fundamental, physics-based approach to the modeling of tapered beams in MEMS that is based on a rigorous perturbation analysis of the traditional Euler-Bernoulli beam. The authors demonstrate how perturbation methods combined with symbolic modeling and the tools of computer algebra enable the development of semi-analytical models for tapered-beam MEMS elements. They pay particular attention to the application of these novel models to piezoelectric MEMS energy harvesters with tapered-beam elements, including the development of lumped-parameter circuit models that can be readily used for fast electro-mechanical simulations. Technical Efficiency of renewable electricity production in SSA
Though institutional quality has been identified to improve economic performance, the literature on renewable electricity has conspicuously neglected the role institutional quality plays in ensuring the efficiency of renewable electricity production in developing countries, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). This paper addresses this gap by investigating the role of economic and political institutional quality in technical efficiency of production of renewable electricity.. Using stochastic frontier model, the paper finds that technical efficiency of production of renewable electricity is 57%, suggesting that most countries in SSA are farther away from their production frontier. Both economic and political institutional quality contribute significantly to reducing technical inefficiency of production of renewable electricity. The paper recommends for enforcement of existing laws that enhance economic and political institutional quality to raise efficiency of production of renewable electricity.
