Flying Ad Hoc Networks
Relying on unmanned autonomous flight control programs, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) equipped with radio communication devices have been actively developed around the world. Given their low cost, flexible maneuvering and unmanned operation, UAVs have been widely used in both civilian operations and military missions, including environmental monitoring, emergency communications, express distribution, even military surveillance and attacks, for example. Given that a range of standards and protocols used in terrestrial wireless networks are not applicable to UAV networks, and that some practical constraints such as battery power and no-fly zone hinder the maneuverability capability of a single UAV, we need to explore advanced communication and networking theories and methods for the sake of supporting future ultra-reliable and low-latency applications. Typically, the full potential of UAV network's functionalities can be tapped with the aid of the cooperation of multiple drones relying on their ad hoc networking, in-network communications and coordinated control. Furthermore, some swarm intelligence models and algorithms conceived for dynamic negotiation, path programming, formation flight and task assignment of multiple cooperative drones are also beneficial in terms of extending UAV's functionalities and coverage, as well as of increasing their efficiency. We call the networking and cooperation of multiple drones as the terminology 'flying ad hoc network (FANET)', and there indeed are numerous new challenges to be overcome before the idespread of so-called heterogeneous FANETs. In this book, we examine a range of technical issues in FANETs, from physical-layer channel modeling to MAC-layer resource allocation, while also introducing readers to UAV aided mobile edge computing techniques.

In general, multispectral images pixels have an inherent spectral pattern which is the numerical basis for the classification of multispectral images i.e. the inherent spectral reflectance and emittance properties of the electromagnetic spec- trum are indexed with different combinations of Digital Numbers in the image torecognize various types of features or objects. Spectral pattern recognition is a classification procedure that performs automated landcover classification with the help of pixel-by-pixel spectral information. Remote sensing is one of the efficient ways to procure multispectral images. Re- mote sensing is a procedure to acquire data from any distance without physically interacting with objects. Remote sensing can be made possible with the help of satellites or aircrafts which have sensors mounted on them to capture electromag- netic radiation scattered or emitted from the Earth's surface.
Energy Efficient Object Tracking using Wireless Sensor Network

While studying past works, it is foundthat mainly energy is consumed while sending the data to the base station; if each sensorcommunicates with the base station for sharing data, then sensors' battery drains, and thenetwork becomes dead early. After this, a way is needed that all sensors do not send data;only one sensor sends data after taking it from other sensors, then clustering came intoexistence. In a wireless sensor network (WSN), clustering is a set of nodes in one of thenodes becoming a cluster head. The cluster head selects three-nodes that localize therunning object and compute the information and forward it the cluster head. Cluster headsthe information forwards to the sink node or base station .To incorporate clustering LEACH is introduced, LEACH (Low Energy Adaptive Cluster Hierarchy) is the essential work done in this direction. In this novel an American non-profit company initiates a national movement to heal the youth's addiction to mobile social media, like smart phones. Voice Synthesis Inc. (VSI) based in Alexandria, Virginia, was founded by Matt and Heather Flynn, billionaires from their Turbopod (T-Pod) vehicles sold around the world. The couple does research to determine that the addiction starts at age ten and is a primary culprit in the dramatic reduction of the Work Ethic in America. The book provides alarming statistics as VSI's employees focus on the problem at home, in the schools, in retail businesses, in the government, the military and board rooms. It becomes clear to the reader that the social media devices greatly contribute to dumbing of citizens, ripe for control by a Socialist government. The reader follows VSI as it enlists a well-known company to apply artificial intelligence to voice synthesis systems to create a useful Flip Phone for the youth. "FLIPA" can access communications but not the Internet and streaming video. Nationally-known cyber gurus, who formed a company called Padlockers, create a computer E-Worm which debilitates the production of popular smart phones in China. At the same time the government provides programs attractive for companies to bring back the production of the devices to America. The story ends with a realistic hope for the future as the simple FLIPA wins over legions of youth, one Flip Phone at a time.
