Classification and Localization of Eye Diseases using CNN
The most common causes of vision loss in people worldwide are cataract, glaucoma, and retinal disorders. The rising prevalence of these diseases necessitates an immediate, accurate diagnosis. The suggested approach is created and designed to make it simple for individuals to diagnose illnesses of the retina, glaucoma, cataract and many more. Artificial neural networks and convolutional neural networks are used to classify and locate eye problems. The suggested approach will reduce the amount of brought-on blindness by enabling patients to receive the necessary care for the mentioned illnesses at an early stage. The chosen method also evaluates the effectiveness and safety of cataract surgery in eyes with age-related macular degeneration in addition to identifying glaucoma and retinal diseases. This study uses photos of the fundus from healthy eyes as well as eyes with glaucoma, cataracts, and retina to show the accuracy of algorithms. Nowadays, the concept of categorizing photographs based on their fundus and extracting features is well recognized, and it also plays a crucial role in the conclusion.
Linguodidactic aspects of teaching phraseology
Phraseological units are an integral part of any language, and knowing these dialects, interpreting them adequately, and translating them is proof that all expressions, fictions, and works of art are translated correctly and adequately. In this context, it should be concluded that translators should follow the use and application of the target language when translating phraseological units. Summarizing the above information, we conclude that the most common methods of translating phraseological units are: translation using absolute and relative equivalents, phraseological analogues, metaphor, opposite translation, translation paraphrase, and synonymous translation. Phraseological units (in this study we will look at phrases, proverbs, and parables) are the normative and culturally defined part of a word, proving to be an effective source of accepting English as a foreign language. It is therefore important to use phraseological units such as proverbs and parables in practical phonetics classes to pronounce the prosodic features of English and the sounds of English vowels and consonants that differ from the sounds of the Russian phonetic system.

Sustainable ideas in a public school in north-western MT
The Luiza Nunes Bezerra State School was awarded the School Management Prize in 2013. This award is the result of the work that has been carried out over the last few decades with reading projects, environmental education with materials that would otherwise go to waste and which are transformed into art and auctioned off to revert into resources that are donated, for example, to the Barretos Cancer Hospital, food and nutritional security with school meals. In 2013, UNEMAT (Mato Grosso State University) started working with this school through the PIBID (Institutional Teaching Initiation Scholarship Programme), and the work developed at the school, therefore in partnership with the university, is now presented annually at the 'Scientific and Cultural Exhibition of the Arinos Valley', which is an initiative of LEAL/CNPq (Laboratory for Studies and Research into the Diversity of the Legal Amazon). Thus, the texts presented in this book were presented at this event with the aim of arousing the interest of primary school students in the study of socio-environmental and cultural diversity.
Real Time Monitoring of Soil Stability with AI
In today's world, navigating complex challenges demands a keen ability to assess potential risks. While traditional methods have served us well, they often struggle with the intricate complexities of vast datasets and ever-evolving scenarios. This is where Artificial Intelligence (AI) steps in as a revolutionary game-changer. The stability of the ground beneath our feet is often taken for granted, but complacency can have devastating consequences. Landslides, mudslides, and other soil failures can cause immense damage to property, infrastructure, and even claim lives. To mitigate these risks, traditional methods of soil monitoring have relied on manual inspections and point-in-time sensor data, which can be labor-intensive and lack real-time capabilities. However, a revolutionary approach is emerging: real-time monitoring of soil stability with Artificial Intelligence (AI). This powerful combination leverages AI's ability to analyze vast amounts of sensor data in real-time.

Higher Technology Courses
The theme of this work is Higher Technology Courses in Brazil. It is developed in the 'Educational processes and their foundations' line of research. The interest in technological courses identified in academia and educational policies, the observation that higher education in Brazil has always been aimed at the elite, the increased demands of the labour market and the influence of neoliberal thinking, the increased supply of vocational training, which led to the implementation of higher technology courses, among the various vocational training courses in the educational system, are all aspects that motivated the choice of theme for this research. However, over time, technological courses have been and are being developed more and more for the market, encouraged by the world's major financial backers. However, based on the importance of this professional training, we are thinking about how to overcome the dilemma between serving the market and meeting the professional development that technological work requires, against the backdrop of seeking to understand and criticise the education that has historically been reserved for the working class.

He then demonstrates how these principles can be expanded to business in general. In Part One, Edwards covers the basics, including the need to create space so you can breathe when faced with adversity. Part Two moves into gaining control of your thoughts. Part Three brings everything together to discuss finishing principles and taking calculated risks by implementing a system of controls.By integrating these parts, readers will be able to make strategic, technical business decisions, even during times of uncertainty and fear. The framework, broken down into three parts, shows how the principles of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu can be applied to business. This approach proved so powerful that Edwards continues to run his company from this perspective and even applies it in his personal life.To further enrich the insights shared in this book, Jordan Edwards launched the "Business Jiu Jitsu" podcast. This platform allowed him to engage in profound conversations with some of the brightest minds across various industries. Analysing student competences in project-based learning
Training engineers with a focus on the real needs of the market has always been a challenge for many educational institutions around the world. As a result, many of them are adopting more innovative processes to ensure that their graduates are differentiated and have complete professional, personal and interpersonal competences. This book presents and analyses the CDIO Initiative, an engineering education programme whose main foundation is to provide the necessary characteristics for excellence in the engineering professional, in which the fundamental concepts are to conceive, design, implement and operate. To this end, a survey was carried out with engineering students taking part in the Interdisciplinary Project, which corresponds to Standard 5 of the CDIO Initiative, to check the difference between expectations and perceptions during the learning process. The book provides the reader with a reflection and understanding that the practice of new teaching methodologies is essential for the complete development of a professional profile for the labour market. Happy reading!

Science without Borders exchange programme in Canada
This book describes one student's experiences of an exchange programme in Canada with a partial degree in Mining Engineering, thanks to a scholarship from the Federal Government's Science without Borders Programme (CsF). Living abroad enables many students to develop academically, professionally and personally, connecting them to different nations around the world. Academic success within a foreign university is often an arduous task for international students, who must (and/or are at least expected to) adapt to the norms and workings of a new institution quickly and efficiently. This adaptation process is unique to each student, and this book provides an example of what this experience in Canada was like for a Brazilian student, through the latest CsF programme. At the end of the exchange period, there is no doubt that the challenges that each student faced and/or overcame, in a particular and personal way, will be marked as a form of learning for the rest of their life.

In-Company Training from the Perspective of Teachers and Students/Workers
The growing technological innovation that has taken place in recent years has demanded training geared to the new reality. Education often ends up bearing the brunt of the shortfall in training workers with knowledge and skills suited to the market. Faced with this shortage, companies have sought to produce their own means of training aimed at satisfying their immediate interests, which has come to be characterised as in-company training. The main objective of this study was to analyse the multiple aspects of the teaching/learning process in these non-formal spaces, both from the point of view of the teachers and the students/workers. The research was quantitative and qualitative and the data was collected through semi-structured interviews and questionnaires. It was carried out in two companies in the southern region of Santa Catarina and involved (15) workers and (10) teachers who work directly in these spaces.
