The teaching of computer programming has followed an individual model, with each student or apprentice using a computer and having to solve problems alone. Coding Dojo is a method that allows those involved to share their knowledge in a collaborative and inclusive way. The study presented in the book is the result of more than two years' work that sought to identify the advantages and disadvantages of using Coding Dojo to teach agile software development practices, such as pair programming and test driven development. The study used questionnaires and interviews with experts to create material that would serve as a basis for teachers and other researchers on the subject.

User experience and player experience are two concepts that have similarities. Both involve the interaction of a user with a product, with overlapping methods and areas of knowledge that allow experience to be verified. However, there are differences in the focus given to the experience resulting from the interaction. This paper presents the concepts of user experience, usability, player experience and gameplay presented in the literature. It then discusses the relationship between these definitions, identifying the elements that separate them and presenting a possible division between the concepts of user experience and player experience and their tools. Finally, this paper presents two experiments, in two different games, which show a way of verifying player experience, seeking to include these methods within the game development cycle. This work also presents an understanding of player experience in interaction with games and the inclusion of its evaluation within the development cycle, using user testing.

A laser is a device that emits light through a process of optical amplification based on the stimulated emission of electromagnetic radiation. The word laser is an acronym that originated as an acronym for light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation. The first laser was built in 1960 by Theodore Maiman at Hughes Research Laboratories, based on theoretical work by Charles H. Townes and Arthur Leonard Schawlow. A laser differs from other sources of light in that it emits light that is coherent. Spatial coherence allows a laser to be focused to a tight spot, enabling applications such as laser cutting and lithography. It also allows a laser beam to stay narrow over great distances (collimation), a feature used in applications such as laser pointers and lidar (light detection and ranging). Lasers can also have high temporal coherence, which permits them to emit light with a very narrow frequency spectrum. Alternatively, temporal coherence can be used to produce ultra-short pulses of light with a broad spectrum but durations as short as a femtosecond.
