Based upon the research they have conducted over the past decade in the field of denoising processes for medical ultrasonic imaging, in this book, the authors systematically present despeckling methods for medical ultrasonic images. Firstly, the respective methods are reviewed and divided into five categories. Secondly, after introducing some basic mathematical tools such as wavelet and shearlet transforms, the authors highlight five recently developed despeckling methods for medical ultrasonic images. The characteristics of airfoil is examined on the basis of lift coefficient, drag coefficient, and lift to drag ratio. based on the characteristics of the airfoil, the best airfoil is selected for the modeling and designing of wind blade in q blade software. For the modeling of blade at first blade is divided into different sections for the calculation purpose. At the end, simulation of wind blade is done and a graph of coefficient of power and tip to speed ratio is obtained. The performance of the blade at different Reynolds numbers is also checked by us in q blade software.

A cross-section of popular demand forecasting algorithms from statistics, machine learning and mathematics is presented, followed by extreme value theory techniques with examples. In order to achieve carbon targets, good forecasts of peaks are essential. For instance, shifting demand or charging battery depends on correct demand predictions in time. This open access book coherently gathers well-founded information on the fundamentals of and formalisms for modelling cyber-physical systems (CPS). Highlighting the cross-disciplinary nature of CPS modelling, it also serves as a bridge for anyone entering CPS from related areas of computer science or engineering. Truly complex, engineered systems-known as cyber-physical systems-that integrate physical, software, and network aspects are now on the rise. This open access book explores the collision between the sustainable energy transition and the Internet of Things (IoT). In that regard, this book's arrival is timely. Not only is the Internet of Things for energy applications, herein called the energy Internet of Things (eIoT), rapidly developing but also the transition towards sustainable energy to abate global climate is very much at the forefront of public discourse. It is within the context of these two dynamic thrusts, digitization and global climate change, that the energy industry sees itself undergoing significant change in how it is operated and managed. This book recognizes that they impose five fundamental energy management change drivers: 1.) the growing demand for electricity, 2.) the emergence of renewable energy resources, 3.) the emergence of electrified transportation, 4.) the deregulation of electric power markets, 5.) and innovations in smart grid technology. Together, they challenge many of the assumptions upon which the electric grid was first built. The goal of this book is to provide a single integrated picture of how eIoT can come to transform our energy infrastructure. This book links the energy management change drivers mentioned above to the need for a technical energy management solution. Modeling of Partial Discharge for Solid Insulation
In high voltage (HV) electrical power systems; varieties of materials (solid, liquid and gaseous) are used for insulation purpose to protect the early failure in High Voltage power equipment. Most of the insulating materials are not perfect in all respect and contain some impurities. The presence of air bubble is one of such impurities in insulating materials which is highly undesirable. Insulation of the HV power equipment gradually degrades due to the cumulative effect of electrical, chemical and thermal stress and aging. Due to the high voltage stress, the weak zone inside the insulator causes partial discharge (PD).This deteriorates the insulator. In this paper, an electrical circuit model of the solid insulator with void is used to study the PD activity leading to breakdown inside the insulator. Among the models (namely the capacitive model and induced charge concept model), the capacitive model is adopted in present work. The Simulink capacitive model implemented, effectively demonstrates the partial discharge process. The model is used to study and demonstrate the effect of the permittivity of cavity/impurity and breakdown inception voltage level of the impurity.

Plus pr矇cis矇ment, nous cherchons ? 矇valuer quantitativement un certain nombre de param癡tres g矇om矇triques de structures multicouches, ainsi que la profondeur maximale de petites fissures ? la surface de pi癡ces conductrices, par la m矇thode des courants de Foucault (CF). Il s'agit de probl癡mes d'矇valuation quantitative difficiles, en particulier dans le cas de structures multicouches. La premi癡re difficult矇 dont il faut s'affranchir lorsque l'on veut r矇soudre un probl癡me CF quantitatif, est de disposer de mesures suffisamment riches en information.
