Natural Products and Disease Prevention, Relief and Treatment
The consumption of fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, etc., is thought to be associated with reduced risk for many human diseases, including cancers. Recently, significant advances have been made in evaluating the efficacy of natural products (compounds from natural sources) against human diseases. VISIONARY HEALING Psychedelic Medicine and Shamanism
A psychedelic renaissance is taking place worldwide for those who wish to develop a more comprehensive awareness of themselves and the planet. The proper usage of entheogens can lift the veil from our consensus reality, allowing ordinary individuals to experience a broader field of awareness. Nutraceutical Regulations in the Indian Market and Comparison with the United States and Europe

It is used to describe foods that have therapeutic or nutritional properties. They have the capacity to attract a lot of customers due to the potential quality of health benefits supplied to the human body. A brief explanation of how these products are regulated in India, along with the schedules, registration process, method of preparation, labelling, claims, and its advantages are clearly explained in this article. A comparison table is prepared comparing various parameters like definition, scope, forms, fees etc. for India, United States, and European Union. Traditional foods and herbal extracts have been acknowledged as an essential component of the holistic effort to attain total well-being and health throughout history, particularly in the ancient Ayurveda system of medicine in India but also in traditional Chinese, Roman, and Greek medicine. "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food" as Hippocrates (460-377 BC), the well-known father of modern medicine, declared, to emphasize the correlation between suitable foods for nutrition and their therapeutic effects. The guiding principle was "Focus on prevention". Theophrastus (370-285 BC), Cato (234-149 BC), Pliny the Elder (23-79 AD), and Galan (131-201 AD) all issued statements warning against the adulteration of food products at that time. Since 2000 BC, Schwan has used microorganisms (fungi or yeast) 1837 to produce products through the alcoholic fermentation process. Funk (1884-1967), the father of vitamin therapy, started a new investigation on vitamins and identified them as nutritional required components for the survival of good health. Dr. Stephen L. De Felice, the chairman and founder of the innovation of medicine, coined the word "nutraceuticals." in 1989

Common Chinese Materia Medica
This tenth volume records 5 species of resin, 74 species of animals, 41 species of minerals and fossils. There are resins such as Liquidambar orientalis, Commiphore myrrha, Boswellia carterii, Garcinia hanburyi; animals such as Solenognathus hardwickii, Cervus nippon, Scolopendra subspinipes, Cryptotympana pustulata, Agkistrodon acutus, Bombyx mori, Collocalia esculenta, Moschus moschiferus, Hippocampus kelloggi, Gekko gekko; minerals and fossils such as mercury, gypsum, alum, mirabilite, cinnabar, actinolite, calomel, keel, dens draconis, lithodes, fossilia spiriferis. In each specie, it introduces the scientific names, medicinal names, morphologies, habitats, distributions, acquisition and processing methods of these medicinal plants, the content of medicinal properties, therapeutic effects, usage and dosage of these medicinal plants, and attaches unedited color pictures and pictures of part herbal medicines of each species. This book series has 10 volumes in total, which covers over 2000 kinds of Chinese medicines that are commonly used. These volumes not only introduce the efficacy function and some prescriptions of the medicines, but also introduce the biological characteristics of them in detail with clear photos of the habitats, so that readers can identify them in the field. Apart from the growing environment, the books expound the distribution areas and other information to facilitate researches and other applications.
