Trapped! is not an ordinary who-done-it. There are "clues" throughout the play to help the audience discover the real meaning of the drama. Some things to look for are the significance of the characters' names; words and actions which ring a Scriptural bell; how the main character is different from the others. Because of its theme -- the death of one person in an effort to save others -- it is an ideal play for Lent. The characters do in fact resemble people in the life of Jesus. There is also a Jesus figure here. The audience will be prompted to some response, which is why the play can be presented with some discussion following or as part of a worship service. The Merchant of Venice

In fact, the large cast of ambitious and scheming characters demonstrates in scene after scene, that honesty is a quality often strained where matters of love and money are concerned. Watching, Waiting
In the aftermath of Covid-19, the subject of 'empty places' has gained renewed topicality and resonance. Watching, Waiting presents a collection of essays, both photographic and written, that brings emptiness into interdisciplinary focus as an object of study that extends beyond the present. The contributors approach the specific interrelationships of photography and place through emptiness by considering historical and contemporary material in equal measure. Drawing on architecture, anthropology, sociology, and public health, among other fields, they provide insights into geographically and temporally diverse production models of empty places and their corresponding complex and sensitive global and local relations, while also tackling the ethics of behaviour and protests that unfold within them. Prose, Poetry and Drama
The book is a compilation of poems, short stories and plays. The twenty poems display different types of poetry including lyric, narrative, dramatic, satirical, dirge and free verse. Out of the six plays, one is a radio play to give readers a feel of what radio drama is like. There are six short stories using various types of narrative techniques and other characteristics such as dilemma, intrigue and suspense. The themes and topics are varied including human trafficking, drug and substance abuse, infidelity, health related issues among others.
Frank Truman
Frank Truman is a one-character play. A story of an old man. An old man, who is now preparing himself for death because the shadow of the atom bomb is over his land, begins to narrate parts of his life. He has been used to recording his voice in sensitive and important situations since he was a teenager, now he shares it with the people sitting in front of him.
Trueman and the Arsonists
