The development of drug delivery systems took place just a few decades ago, and its evolution has brought about considerable therapeutic and economic impact. The progress from preformed implants to in situ forming implants has opened new avenues of possibilities to the patients and the healthcare providers. Procedures there were once not convenient and exposed patients with possible complications can be done nowadays by the patients through a syringe in the safety of their home. The products on the market have aided the patients to combat difficult health conditions so far and will still play an important role in the future. Nevertheless, the continuation of science and technology allow us to look for further improved products. In this regard, an implant that can cause minimal damage to the patients and put them at least risk is not available yet. However, with the progress being made, this will not take a long time until it becomes a reality. The work with nanoparticles made of PGA has been covered before in our research group and others. Further study in our group has dealt with new possibilities to work with poly(glycerol adipate) as a drug conjugate.

Endogenous NO is catalyzed from L-arginine by mammalian nitric oxide synthases (NOS). However, NOS-like enzymes have also been found in procaryotes, bacteria, and eukaryotes, suggesting a basic role of NO in the evolutionary process. Thus, it is not surprising that NO signaling is spread throughout the entire phylogenetic scale.

Evaluation of Pharmaceutical Stability and Antimicrobial Activity
Currently, microorganisms resistant to multiple antimicrobials represent a major challenge in the treatment of infections. An important strategy for reducing microbial resistance is the discovery of new substances with antibacterial and antifungal properties, mainly from natural sources. Ocimum gratissimum, popularly known as alfavaca and manjeric瓊o, is used in Brazil as a local antiseptic against fungi and bacteria. Due to this activity, it is one of the species considered for inclusion in the phytotherapy programme of the Unified Health System (SUS). As O. gratissimum causes toxicity when administered orally, the alternative to its use is in topical preparations. This research has shown that it is possible to incorporate the plant's oil into formulations and that they have satisfactory physicochemical characteristics and stability, representing technological feasibility for the pharmaceutical area.
Access to medicines
Pharmaceutical services are part of Pharmaceutical Assistance, are part of health services and aim to guarantee qualified access to medicines for the population in a comprehensive and continuous manner. In Primary Health Care, the minimum structuring of these services, as well as user guidance activities, is recommended in the Guidelines and Manuals of Brazilian health organisations. However, studies have shown various organisational and structural problems in these services, which compromise guaranteed access to medicines. Considering the difficulties faced by users in obtaining their medicines with the proper guidance, this study aimed to find out the perceptions of users of pharmaceutical services in the Basic Health Units of Divin籀polis, Minas Gerais, in relation to access to medicines. The research was based on the Servir Project, a qualitative study carried out in 2014. Data related to the sociodemographic, economic and health profile of users, perceptions about the physical structure of the services, obtaining medicines and dispensing practices were extracted from the Servir Project database.

Impact of the Covid-19 health crisis on the Algerian population
Covid-19 has become a public health issue since its discovery in China in 2019. This pandemic has had significant consequences on the physical, mental and social health of affected individuals. The aim of this research was to determine the impact of coronavirus infection on the Algerian population through a retrospective descriptive survey, and to identify the organic and psychosocial sequelae caused by the infection, known as Covid long. The results showed that half of the respondents (52%) had symptoms of Covid long, including a variety of symptoms, the most frequent of which were joint pain (72%), fatigue (70%), diabetes (67%), dyspnoea (52%), arterial hypertension (44%) and arrhythmia (37%). Anxiety was the most marked psychological symptom, followed by depression. Although recourse to hospitalization is rare, these prolonged forms will have a major social impact, necessitating the implementation of appropriate preventive and public measures.

Due to the increase in hospital infections and the resistance of pathogenic microorganisms and the lack of drugs to combat and inhibit their growth, new alternatives have been sought to combat them. These include urinary tract infections, which are among the four most common types of hospital infection, caused by Candida albicans, representing a growing threat to human health, causing nosocomial infections and candidemia, which can lead to death. Candida albicans' ability to form biofilms on inert surfaces, such as urinary catheters, is responsible for increasing its pathogenicity and triggering resistance to antifungal drugs. This study therefore demonstrates new alternatives for combating these resistant microorganisms, using Palmarosa Oil (Cymbopogon martini), which has shown significant results, such as its antibiofilm and antifungal activity against Candida albicans in urinary catheters.

Using the START/STOPP screening tools.Present prospective observational study was conducted using the case sheets of 166 patients older than 65 years (51.8% male) (48.1% female). The 916 medications within all the cases were screened for Potentially inappropriate medications using the START/STOPP screening tool.
