Emotional Intelligence in Teaching
This book explores how emotional intelligence (EI) influences teacher effectiveness in higher secondary schools. It finds that teachers generally have high EI and effectiveness. Gender and specialization impact EI levels, with females and certain subject teachers scoring higher, while factors like school location, experience, and age show little effect. Teacher effectiveness, however, varies significantly by age but not by gender, location, or specialization. A moderate positive link between EI and effectiveness highlights the need for emotional skills in teaching. The study suggests workshops, training programs, and awards to improve EI, leading to better teaching and student success.
Working Capital Management
The effective management of working capital in public high schools is essential for sustaining educational programs and operations. Financial disruptions often hinder schools from adequately funding initiatives, leading to resource shortages and delayed projects. Schools must adopt sound financial management practices to mitigate these challenges, including strategic budgeting, efficient cash flow management, and transparent fund allocation.Diversifying revenue sources through partnerships, sponsorships, and community engagement can provide additional financial support. Moreover, implementing strict cost-control measures and accountability systems ensures that available resources are utilized optimally. By integrating these strategies, schools can navigate financial uncertainties and maintain the continuity of key programs despite funding perturbations.
The Impact of Parental Involve on Pupils' Academic Performance
This book investigates the impact of parental involvement on pupils' academic performance in selected private primary schools in Jakarta Metropolis, Indonesia. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research utilizes a structured questionnaire divided into demographic and thematic sections to systematically gather both quantitative and qualitative data from parents. Secondary sources, including academic articles and educational policy reports, provide additional context and triangulation. The study is anchored in Epstein's Framework of Parental Involvement and draws on parenting style theories to interrogate how different forms of engagement influence motivation, self-efficacy, and achievement among pupils. Findings reveal that while a majority of parents participate in school-based activities and encourage educational engagement at home, consistent involvement-particularly in direct communication with teachers and daily academic support remains limited due to barriers such as work schedules and lack of awareness.

Effect of Early Childhood Education on Lower Primary Cognition
This study examined the effect of Early Childhood Education (ECE) on the cognitive development of pupils in lower primary education in Kamonyi District, Rwanda. Guided by three objectives-examining the accessibility, availability, and affordability of ECE; identifying aspects of cognitive development; and determining ECE's effect on cognitive growth-the study surveyed 158 respondents from a target population of 260 using descriptive and correlational research designs. Data were analyzed through SPSS and thematic methods. Findings revealed limited accessibility (13.52%) and affordability (mean = 2.85) of ECE. Only 14.7% of teachers reported standard cognitive development in pupils. Regression results showed physical learning environment (R簡 = 0.414), teacher-pupil interaction (R簡 = 0.470), and parental involvement (R簡 = 0.265) significantly influenced cognitive outcomes. The study concludes that poor ECE access negatively affects cognitive development and recommends increased parental enrollment efforts and improved teaching methods.
Identifying The Concepts Of Percentage
A myth roams about in the arena of educational institutions, that the pupils fear Mathematics as a subject. This book is a humble effort to find out some remedials by which our dear pupils can be able to overcome the age old so called "Fear" myth in learning Mathematics. Besides this, the author is also presenting some "Technical Know How" in solving mathematical problems practically, which he faces as a secondary level school teacher day in and day out. There are easy going, genial and tolerant discussions in this book about the problems on major concept 'Percentage' which have been arising in the syllabi of W.B.B.S.E. as well as C.I.S.C.E. These discussions have been done adopting several materials and methods which are mentioned in the book. This book will be useful for the learners of schools and their teachers, B.Ed. students and teachers, curriculum developers, researchers of various levels and those who are interested in learning mathematics.
Unearthing Reasons for School Dropouts
In India, one in three students doesn't complete schooling due to various reasons, though the students have the right to a free and compulsory education. In the study area, this crisis has been an academic nightmare for the past few decades. The present study examines the factors that cause students to depart before schooling. A sample of seventy-two respondents was selected randomly from six secondary schools in Kosigi Mandal of Kurnool District in Andhra Pradesh State. The study used quantitative data. The required primary data was collected through a schedule, and secondary data was collected from various journals, reports and websites. The objectives of the present study were to find the association of personal, family, socio-economic and school factors and school dropouts in the study area and also to find the influence of these factors on school dropouts. The study found that personal factors, family factors and socio-economic factors were associated with school dropouts in the study area, while family factors and socio-economic factors influence the school dropouts statistically.
