The rancour and progress of inclusive education for human rights
Teacher Training in the Context of Interculturality Teachers in the current socio-historical scenario need to bear in mind that the classroom is a plural space par excellence, and encompasses the most different subjects from the most varied social classes who are being formed in time and space, and it is in these spaces that cultural diversities are organising themselves and structuring their different histories. It is in these spaces that cultural diversities are organising and structuring their different histories, and it is in building their histories that multiculturalism is splashing across their visions nowadays, because there is the possibility of seeing the 'Anthrophos' subject in all its fullness to the extent that they can live together without xenophobic feelings in the same school space. In this scenario, the teacher has the arduous task of pedagogical mediation for all the diversity that presents itself, safeguarding the physical or organic deficiencies of each subject, as well as knowing how to mediate scientific knowledge with all those who have learning difficulties of any kind. From this perspective, when working with human diversity, teachers also need to build their history as educators, as masters of the art of mediation.

Inclusion and deafness
In the past, people with disabilities were on the margins of society, excluded or isolated in specialised institutions. In the case of deaf people, it took many years before they won the right to communicate using signs and to have their own language recognised. Inclusion is a phenomenon that emerged as a result of many struggles on behalf of people with disabilities and has brought about a new paradigm for the actions of society and public authorities. Several laws in Brazil support people with disabilities today and are the result of discussions that include the educational field.
People with schizophrenia
Schizophrenia is one of today's main mental health problems, which, however, can be traced back centuries to primitive beliefs, imaginary ideals, aberrations, myths of witchcraft and magic. Until the end of the Middle Ages and for a long time afterwards, the polymorphism of mental illness still had no scientific basis, just empirical practices and knowledge that didn't run in a straight line. This study consists of a critical review of the literature, the aims of which are to describe the nursing care provided to schizophrenic individuals and to rethink such care for this particular group, as well as their families.
Speaking with Spirit
Speaking with Spirit: A Guide for Christian Speakers was deemed "the most thorough treatment on the subject of public speaking I have ever seen" by Linus Wright, Former Under Secretary in the U.S. Department of Education. Vassallo published a former edition of this book in 1990, which was declared a "must for an excellent collection of books of this genre" by the American Library Association.Endorsements"This extraordinary piece of work is the most thorough treatment on the subject of public speaking I have ever seen. Speaking with Spirit is full of factual information organized in easily recognizable categories. I was particularly gratified to find not only a catalog of possible openings for different types of speeches but also an example of each taken from a successful presentation. When you have finished Wanda's book, you will regard speaking before an audience as something to anticipate with confidence and optimism."-LINUS WRIGHT, Former Under Secretary, U.S. Department of Education, and Dallas Schools Superintendent"At last! A public speaking book written especially for Christian speakers. Wanda's book will serve as a trusted guide for the novice speaker as well as a valuable reference for the experienced speaker cast onto unfamiliar turf, such as appearing on television for the first time. Her examples of different genres of speeches, tailor-made for Christian audiences, provide a treasure trove of proven material."-MAMIE MCCULLOUGH, Motivational Speaker and Author"I am so pleased that Wanda has written another book on speaking. Her previous book on the subject proved to be very popular at our conferences. We sold several hundred copies. Wanda has spoken at our conferences over the years and has always been a favorite among our people. I know this book will be well received. I am eager to begin offering it to our conference attendees."-REG A. FORDER, Director of American Christian Writers"This book by Wanda Vassallo will be much appreciated and used by pastors and leaders in Christian churches, as well as by speakers in other contexts. Having served as a pastor for 28 years, as well as being a theological educator and a denominational executive, I am called on to speak in a variety of settings. Based on my experiences, I know that Wanda's book will be a priceless resource for the Christian leader. I recommend it without reservation."-REV. RONALD E. VALLET, D.Min., Author, Adjunct Professor, McMaster Divinity College; Pastor, Fredonia Baptist Church, Fredonia, N.Y.; Minister for Stewardship and Mission Support, American Baptist Churches of New York"I taught Communications in a Christian University for many years and often used Jesus Christ as an example of the greatest of the communicators. Naturally, I directed my students to scriptures that verified that fact, but I never had a complete scriptural reference to Christ's sermons, teachings, speeches, and arguments. Now, Wanda Vassallo has included in her first-rate public speaking textbook, a chapter on "Jesus as a Speaker-Our Example!" This is a true blessing for the Christian speech teacher. It's all there in Dr. Vassallo's book-all the scripture references, the interpretations of those scriptures, and the speech "techniques" of Christ! It's all there in a textbook that goes on to tell the student and the teacher how best to present oneself before an audience. It's all there in one volume-a complete course in public speaking. A text like this with Jesus as the master speaker has long been needed. Now, it's available. Our prayers have been answered. Thank you, Dr. Wanda Vassallo!"-DR. ROSE-MARY RUMBLEY, University Professor, Professional Speaker, and Author

Community Therapy Rounds
By making it possible to get to know the participants' life stories, Community Therapy can contribute to an invitation to think about the way humans are as a continuous conception/realisation of a project that finds in existential phenomenology the key that opens up a path to understanding the health professional as a subject, since as well as being a health worker, they are a human person, an active and participating subject with their own singular, plural way of being in the world, in relation to other subject(s). In this way, it also works as a mental health care strategy in primary care for users and primary care workers so that they can enhance their actions, enabling the construction of community-based social solidarity networks to resolve conflicts, both for ESF users and professionals.
Reflections on reader education and the Brazilian education system
The importance of reading in human life has always been the subject of study by many thinkers. Seen as an essential and necessary tool for learning, it has the capacity to promote individuals, social and economic success and make human beings aware of themselves in the world and in their relationship with it. In this way, we are far from reaching the level of significant literate societies through our schools, due to the lack of appreciation for reading, education and various factors that negatively interfere with the formation of readers and the quality of teaching. Thus, the articles that make up this book address the formation of readers at school, emphasising the marvellous genre, literary tales and comics. They also discuss education in the country and how SPAECE has contributed to improving education in the state of Cear獺. We hope, therefore, to stimulate the search for solutions, reflecting on the attitude of all those who co-operate in the formation of individuals and society, be they teachers, mediators, parents, conscious people, capable of acting, expanding and interfering positively in the world.
Knowledge Production on Physical Education Training in Brazil
Bibliographic surveys show that there has been an increase in the production of knowledge about professional training in Physical Education in Brazil. However, the absence of this mapping makes it difficult to know its stage of development and prevents the identification of significant problems that have not yet been investigated. In this book, I present data on research that subsidises training at postgraduate level and makes it possible to explain this production, its direction, theoretical references, dates and perspectives. The analyses presented are essential for raising awareness about the capitalist relations of production that characterise and permeate the practices of existence and the production of knowledge. The opposition of ideas is found in the mode of production and must be overcome.
Teaching strategies to increase motivation in students
This book is a research report that emanates from the concern to innovate the daily teaching work and that can become a proposal for many teachers who, like the authors, are concerned about reflecting on their teaching practice and, based on the detection of areas of opportunity, intervene to improve it.The concerns of teachers go in many directions, but student motivation is and will always be a current issue, because without it there can be no learning, let alone meaningful learning.

Learn how to produce meaningful metrics and communicate before, during and after an incident. Regardless of your role in Tech, you will find something of value somewhere along the way in this book.
Resilience in a group of sixth grade elementary school students
The present study was conducted with the general objective of evaluating the results of a program to enhance resilience in a group of sixth grade students of an educational center. Due to its nature, the study was of mixed cut, with an exploratory scope. Forty-two individuals participated, divided into two groups: one with 21 sixth grade students, who were the control group, and the other 21 students, from the same grade, for the experimental group. It was found that there are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the answers given by those in the experimental group and the control group in the post-application of resilience, as well as in each of the factors that make it up. It was concluded that it is necessary to do more studies on the subject in order to find evidence to validate effectively the designed workshop.
Skills, Creativity and Innovation in the Digital Platform Era
This book brings together two important areas: the separate research topics of professions, platforms and entrepreneurship, and the various dimensions of what platformization means to work and to professions in contemporary societies.
The inclusion of people with disabilities in public schools
In view of the legislation regarding the compulsory inclusion of people with disabilities in the regular school system, the authors analysed how this process takes place in a primary school in the municipality of Franca/SP, checking, from the perspective of education professionals, whether this proposal creates effective conditions for learning and developing the potential of students with different types of disabilities. It also reflects on the importance of Social Work in this context. In order to make this diagnosis, it first describes what disability is, followed by an interpretation of some of the laws on the subject, and also presents existing data on the attendance of people with disabilities at mainstream schools in Brazil and in the state of S瓊o Paulo. Secondly, it looks at the role of the school in the inclusion process, assessing teacher training and whether it creates the conditions for professionals to receive students with special educational needs. Finally, it analyses this reality and the possible interventions of social workers in this context.

The project "Design of a seesaw for children with different abilities" consists of designing and structuring a mechanical seesaw for children with psychomotor problems in special wheelchairs, who require entertainment during recreation time at the Multiple Attention Center #19 (CAM #19). The design of the device represents a rather complex challenge since it not only consists of the mechanical design of the device, but there are also variables that will control the final design. These variables are both the physical and psychological safety of the child in the wheelchair who will be using the device. By obtaining psychological data on the child's behavior and stimulations, physical, static and dynamic parameters can be defined for the design of the mechanism.

Over Work
"Brigid Schulte is a vital voice on the future of work, and her carefully researched book lights the way to fewer hours, less stress, and more meaning." ―Adam Grant, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Think Again and Hidden Potential, and host of the podcast WorkLife From the New York Times bestselling author of Overwhelmed, a deeply reported exploration of why American work isn't working and how our lives can be made more meaningful Following Overwhelmed, Brigid Schulte's groundbreaking examination of time management and stress, the prizewinning journalist now turns her attention to the greatest culprit in America's quality-of-life crisis: the way our economy and culture conceive of work. Americans across all demographics, industries, and socioeconomic levels report exhaustion, burnout, and the wish for more meaningful lives. This full-system failure in our structure of work affects everything from gender inequality to domestic stability, and it even shortens our lifespans. Drawing on years of research, Schulte traces the arc of our discontent from a time before the 1980s, when work was compatible with well-being and allowed a single earner to support a family, until today, with millions of people working multiple hourly jobs or in white-collar positions where no hours are ever off duty. She casts a wide net in search of solutions, exploring the movement to institute a four-day workweek, introducing Japan's Housewives Brigade--which demands legal protection for family time--and embedding with CEOs who are making the business case for humane conditions. And she demonstrates the power of a collective and creative demand for change, showing that work can be organized in an infinite number of ways that are good for humans and for business. Ideas of Serbian Enlighteners and Pedagogues
The Enlightenment conception of education among Serbs began to develop in the 18th century. The Enlightenment conception of education was created and developed as an integral part of the humanist-enlightenment movement. Its basic source is the philosophical and sociological ideas of many European educators and advanced European thought. Such a conception was not original, but it represented epochal progress for Serbian pedagogy, school and education. A large number of Serbian educators tried to create a new concept of education. They believed in the unlimited power of education and believed that only it could change society. A special contribution to the constitution of the new concept of education was made by the first Serbian educator and teacher Saint Sava, as well as other educators such as Teodor Jankovic Mirijevski, Dositej Obradovic, Vuk Stefanovic Karadzic, Svetozar Markovic, Vasa Pelagic, Đorđe Natosevic and Vojislav Bakic. In this book, the author presents the basic pedagogical ideas of the aforementioned educators and pedagogues, their views on teaching, learning and education, determining the goal of education, as well as their views on the new school.

Guess who got into university?
This book deals with the saga of underprivileged students who, through the Lula government's public policy for higher education, ProUni-Programa Universidade para Todos, enter a private university. Despite all the negative predictions about their academic career, they build strategies to overcome their difficulties and emphasise their strengths. Through their discoveries of this new world and their actions, they not only manage to stay at university, but also achieve positive academic results, setting them apart from the rest. Here I show some fragments of their family and school histories, essential components for understanding what mobilised them and kept them insisting on their dreams, despite all the adversities before and after they entered university. Dialoguing with Bernard Charlot, I discovered a path that allowed me to demystify the prejudiced readings of these subjects, to whom they attribute responsibility for their problems and few opportunities, which are experienced mainly by young people.
Linguodidactic aspects of teaching phraseology
Phraseological units are an integral part of any language, and knowing these dialects, interpreting them adequately, and translating them is proof that all expressions, fictions, and works of art are translated correctly and adequately. In this context, it should be concluded that translators should follow the use and application of the target language when translating phraseological units. Summarizing the above information, we conclude that the most common methods of translating phraseological units are: translation using absolute and relative equivalents, phraseological analogues, metaphor, opposite translation, translation paraphrase, and synonymous translation. Phraseological units (in this study we will look at phrases, proverbs, and parables) are the normative and culturally defined part of a word, proving to be an effective source of accepting English as a foreign language. It is therefore important to use phraseological units such as proverbs and parables in practical phonetics classes to pronounce the prosodic features of English and the sounds of English vowels and consonants that differ from the sounds of the Russian phonetic system.
