Woven Yarns Vol.1
The stories in this volume have been woven from threads collected from many sources--travels, different cultures, life experiences, observations of human interactions and behavior--with a fair sprinkling of humor and imagination. The interlacement of these particular yarns covers stories of a make-belief world, the pitfalls of internet dating, the bonds of friendship, the weight of caregiving, cross-culture blends, the NIMBY effect, and political correctness. In between we have threads dealing with the speed of change, alienation, political correctness, and climate change All artfully woven into the fabric of Woven Yarns.

Straight to the Point
With a heavy heart for those who desire to perceive the unique touch of the Lord in their lives, this book clearly portrays messages of how to strengthen our relationship with the Lord by applying a fellowship acronym. The messages will encourage many to not only live a life that will honor the Lord but also provide joy, pleasure, peace, and satisfaction on a personal and daily basis. Each reader will be guided to discover eternal truths and clarify personal desires necessary for a meaningful life. Reading this book will inspire you to walk with Jesus Christ, love others, and appreciate the privilege of life. The road traveled find simple, and as Christians, it is our responsibility to imitate Jesus, God the Son, to conquer our crown when we cross the bridge to eternity. This book which I named "Straight to the Point -The Illustrious" is more like a mix of historical and biblical issues. We know many characters from the Holy Bible but we only know that specific moment, the precise time and reason why they are mentioned; but we don't know the history behind them. I will try to explain some of these great men in a historical and biblical manner taking in consideration the time, social, traditions and political era.Not all of the characters in this book are prophets, but I have included great warriors, businessmen, disciples and anyone that has influenced the Christianity or are in the genealogy of Christ. The men mentioned in this book are not in order of popularity or in a chronological order of the Bible, but in an alphabetical order by their first names. Due to this order, we will be going back and forth between the Old and New Testament.I will try my best using all resources available and, on all means, to have veridical and verifiable information. Occasionally we read the Bible as it is; we really don't examine the past, present and future of any of the 32 characters that I will be mentioning. The Bible is the most powerful tool that you can use for spiritual growth and knowledge.I will very much appreciate, if you can take this book as a learning tool to increase your knowledge in the history of Christianity. Most of the chapters will have biblical passage, notes and comments from other resources.I would like to inspire and encourage you to hop on the train with me on this journey so you'll read the Bible and adopt the Scriptures meaning in your lives. Remember to always ask God for wisdom and understanding, and He will provide it, as stated in James 1:5.
