Effect of Pelvic Floor Exercises in Chronic Low Back Pain Patients
The pelvic floor is an important component of the core stabilizing muscles, but many physical therapists and patients with low back pain neglect to train pelvic floor muscles. In addition, there is little evidence that combined routine treatment (Ultrasound or short wave diathermy and lumbar strengthening exercises) and pelvic floor muscle exercise offers any advantage over routine treatment alone. PFM have also an important role in proper muscular activation for lumbar stabilization. However, there is very little evidence was yet found to assess the function of PFM in patients with LBP or to evaluate the effect of PFM exercises in the treatment of such patients. Those studies investigating the function of PFM in healthy subjects or in incontinent women suffered from some methodological flaws such as small sample size, heterogeneous sample, lack of a standardized and valid procedure, lack of a defined inclusion and exclusion criteria, testing different muscles at different positions, etc. Hence the need for present study is to find out whether PFM exercises have any additive effect when given along with the conventional regimen in treatment of patients with chronic LBP.

Maternal and Child Health
In 2008, the municipality did not meet the target for investigating infant deaths and deaths of women of childbearing age. In 2010/2011 the municipality made progress in relation to the proposed targets. During this period there was a reduction in infant, neonatal and post-neonatal mortality. The proportion of maternal deaths investigated increased. There was a predominance of mothers aged between 20 and 30 (57.14%), with 8 to 11 years of schooling (60%), single (62.86%) and housewives (48.57%). Among the indicators of infant deaths, there was a greater predominance of mothers with one child (45.71%), 77.14% with no history of a dead child, 82.86% with a single pregnancy, 45.71% between 28 and 31 weeks, 31.4 had more than 7 antenatal consultations and 62.86% had a caesarean section. As for infant deaths related to newborns, there was a greater predominance of children born between 1 and 1.4kg (31.43%), males (54.29%), brown (51.43%), APGAR of 7 to 10 (45.71%) and other perinatal causes of death (28.57%). Of the 4 maternal deaths, 75% were aged between 20 and 30, brown (50%), in a stable union (75%), died in the puerperium (50%) and were housewives (75%).

Ischemic heart disease
Cardiovascular diseases are among the leading causes of death in the world. Ischemic heart disease is one of the main health problems in the elderly, its incidence follows an upward curve and presents a high mortality, with the aim of determining the risk factors associated with ischemic heart disease in older adults of the clinic 8 of the health area of Manacas during 2019, a case-control study was conducted. The case group consisted of 34 older adults with a diagnosis of ischemic heart disease and was matched 1: 1 according to sex for the controls. Statistical analysis was performed using the percentage method and odds ratio. Ischemic heart disease in older adults in clinic 8 of the Manacas area predominates in male patients and increases directly proportional to age. Angina is the most frequent. All the factors studied behaved as predisposing factors for the development of heart disease, with arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia and diabetes mellitus standing out in that order.

Epidemiology of Ranibizumab intravitreal applications
The use of intravitreal anti-VEGF is becoming increasingly routine in ophthalmological practice today and is responsible for the treatment of numerous ocular pathologies. It basically acts by inhibiting the angiogenesis that this endothelial growth factor promotes. Studies show that VEGF-A is the factor that most induces vascular permeability and is therefore involved in the genesis of ocular neovascularisation, present in diseases such as AMD, diabetic retinopathy, vascular occlusions, among others. There are numerous drugs that are currently used to treat the aforementioned pathologies. These include Pegaptanib (MacugenR), which basically inhibits forms of VEGF longer than 165 amino acids. Bevacizumab, which is a humanised monoclonal antibody (AvastinR), acts directly against VEGF-A and all its isoforms, but its ocular use is off-label.2 Ranibizumab (LucentisR) acts by inhibiting all isoforms of VEGF-A, and because it is a humanised antibody fragment, it easily penetrates the retina.

Diagnosis is based on constantly revised clinical criteria. The neurological manifestations of MB are dominated by parenchymal involvement, with variable clinical presentation. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the gold standard for this disease. Management of MB is guided by the severity of the disease and the type of organ affected. Colchicine, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and corticosteroids are often sufficient to control the cutaneous-mucosal and articular manifestations of MB. Therapeutic advances with the development of new molecules, immunosuppressants, immunomodulators, lymphocyte-targeting therapies and hematopoietic stem cell autografts have improved the prognosis.
Avoidability of neonatal death in low birth weight premature infants in the ICU
Analysing neonatal intensive care units, low birth weight is an important cause of morbidity and mortality. Researchers point out that knowledge of the population treated in hospital services can subsidise health care actions, meeting their needs and planning efficient care. Methodology An analytical, comparative and retrospective study of the profile of NBs under/equal to 1,500g admitted to the ICUs of a teaching hospital in the northern region of Portugal. Discharge/death outcome factors were subjected to multivariate analysis. The lower the NB's weight, the greater the chances of death due to various complications. In other words, the lower the weight, the more medication resources were used. However, despite the data, there was no increase in the length of stay in the units and/or a reduction in the mortality rate. In this context, we can see the fragility of health services in relation to the care of low birth weight neonates in ICUs and the need to apply new routines and continuing education, so that neonates can have a longer survival with better results.
Geographical Distribution of Nurses in Portugal
Health services in Portugal currently face a number of limitations in terms of both budget and human resources. It is therefore particularly important that they have an adequate distribution of resources, according to the needs of the population. As far as the distribution of nurses in Portugal is concerned, there is very little literature available in Portugal that looks at and studies the distribution of nurses in Portugal and their respective motivations. It was therefore decided to carry out a study to assess the statistics on the distribution of nurses in Portugal at county level and in the years 2002 to 2010 obtained from the National Statistics Institute database, putting them into context with OECD countries. The distribution of the number of nurses at county level was assessed using the gini index, which shows the equity or inequity of the distribution of health professionals. After this evaluation, the OLS methodology will also be used, according to the static and dynamic model. The aim of this method is to verify the aspects that influence the distribution of nurses in 2002 and 2010.
Olive oil in pregnancy and postpartum prevention of nipple trauma
Nipple trauma is a common complaint among breastfeeding women and it is one of the main reasons why some women decide to stop breastfeeding. It confronts nursing women 3-6 days after birth, especially primipara. Nipples become painful and start to show small cracks, which may bleed. This study aimed to test effect of olive oil application to nipples during late pregnancy on prevention of postpartum nipple trauma. The study findings revealed that 67% of the study sample didn't have nipple trauma with current breastfeeding after application of olive oil during late pregnancy (score 0) according to nipple trauma score assessment at 3rd day after starting breastfeeding and 65% of the study sample didn't have nipple soreness with current breastfeeding(score 0) according to nipple soreness rating scale assessment at the third day after starting breastfeeding, the study results also revealed that there is a highly significant relationship between period and frequency of application of olive oil to the nipples during late pregnancy and incidence of nipple trauma with breastfeeding (p=.000). This study concluded that Olive oil is effective for prevention and treatment of nipple trauma.
Physical and psychological impact of miscarriage on women
Emerging evidence suggests that miscarriage is associated with significant and potentially long-lasting psychological and physical consequences. Despite the high frequency of pregnancies complicated by miscarriage, there are no available data on the psychological impacts, particularly perinatal grief, as well as possible physical impacts in Tunisian women who have experienced miscarriage.We conducted a descriptive and analytical study using an anonymous questionnaire including the perinatal grief scale (PGS) with the aim of describing the physical and psychological consequences of miscarriage in women.The mean PGS score was 103.57, with a large standard deviation of 27.17, including 67.9% of women with total scores above or equal to the threshold (>= 91). In terms of physical repercussions, 69.7% reported difficulty falling asleep, 67.9% said they had a disturbance in their appetite, and 44% said they had experienced post-abortive vaginismus.

Congenital Malformations of the Central Nervous System
Neural tube defects are important determinants of perinatal morbidity and mortality, and the risk of death depends on the severity of the lesion and other factors, such as the availability of prior medical and surgical resources. In Brazil, according to the National Information System, in 2016 there were a total of 2,857,800 births, of which 4,085 were born with congenital malformations of the central nervous system, with 735 cases of spina bifida. In the municipality of Rio de Janeiro, of the 89,480 live births, 960 were born with a congenital anomaly of the central nervous system, statistically described, apart from cases of spina bifida, which accounted for 30 in total (BRASIL, 2017). The Role of the Nurse in the Digestive Endoscopy Room
Digestive endoscopy, which includes oesogastro-duodenal fibroscopy and colonoscopy, is indispensable in digestive pathologies. Nurses play a major role in these examinations. Our aim was to study the role of the nurse in the digestive endoscopy room. We carried out a questionnaire with 20 nurses. 2/3 of those questioned had no training in digestive endoscopy. The possible complications of endoscopy cited by the nurses were digestive haemorrhage, digestive perforation, infection, respiratory disorders and cardiovascular problems. The difficulties encountered by the nurses surveyed were workload, staff shortages, lack of equipment and lack of training. Around 3/4 of those surveyed mentioned the need for ongoing training. In conclusion, nurses are the backbone of digestive endoscopy, but they need ongoing training.
Systemic arterial hypertension from a health promotion perspective
The Community Health Agents Programme (PACS) is a programme that offers individuals diagnosed with Systemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH) opportunities for registration, follow-up and treatment of the disease. This research is a descriptive, cross-sectional study of living and health conditions, risk factors, complications, expectations and difficulties faced by individuals diagnosed with the aforementioned disease, registered and monitored by the PACS in a municipality in the state of Minas Gerais. The results made it possible to create a scenario of the reality studied and provided input for discussion and the development of individual and collective actions within the health system to promote the health and well-being of these individuals. This has allowed for a better perspective on the conditions of treatment, monitoring and control of the disease, as well as anticipating the presence of missed opportunities in health care and some reflections on the possible harm of this proposal for providing care to the population.
