School attrition in Goma town
The education system in the Democratic Republic of Congo faces multiple deficiencies such as poor conditions of studies, lack of adequate infrastructures, lack of capacity-building of teachers, poor salaries for instructors, lack of documentations or libraries and weak commitment of national authorities to enhance education. All these problems have a negative impact on the education system in the country, impeding both its development and that of its populations, particularly the children who are the future of the nation. ''The Democratic Republic of Congo's the law recognises the right to education ensuring equal access to education and vocational training ''. We assume that the Government has the primary responsibility to promote the education of all Congolese children nationwide since education is the basis of development. Unfortunately, we are witnessing the increase of the number of children who do not go school anymore due to multiple reasons; some of them are wandering in the streets, begging or doing some hard labours in order to survive. All these facts inspired us to conduct a study on school attrition or school dropout in Goma town.
The Construction of Professional Teaching Identity
Reflecting on the professional identity of educators is a point of great relevance to the questions surrounding education, since being a teacher means interacting with others and with the environment in which you are inserted, producing and transmitting knowledge in education in a dynamic way. With this in mind, the aim was to analyse the discourse and memories of eight female primary school teachers interviewed in Recife's municipal education system, to observe the mutual influences and concomitant professional and personal constructions of the educators, identifying their social realities, the evolutionary paths of their professional identity constructions and the main aspects of their personal lives. After all, the personal self and the teaching self are constructed progressively through professional experiences and choices. In this way, this book is aimed at teachers and education scholars in general, in order to serve as a basis for their reflections, especially those about the educator's formational process.

From Technique to Science
A public consultation held in 2009 by the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Secretariat deemed the scientific production of bachelor's degree courses in Executive Secretarial to be insufficient, questioning whether they should retain the title of bachelor's degree or whether they should become just technical or technologist courses. The episode resulted in academic and professional mobilization around the issue, proving and supporting the continuity of higher education. This panorama was the inspiration for the present work, which seeks to analyze the culture of scientific production in Executive Secretarial. To achieve this goal, the CNPq Research Groups Platform and the Lattes Platform were used as data sources, in which 11 research groups in the secretarial area were identified. The analyses extracted make it possible to quantitatively analyze the history and context of scientific research in Executive Secretarial, taking into account the development of science and academic research in Brazil, and more specifically the panorama of secretarial scientific research.

Understanding Physical Education as a production of humanity, the aim is, through a historical review, to understand how cultural arenas act on our object of study.
Formative and Professional Career of Physical Education Graduates
This investigation is part of a larger study that aimed to follow graduates of the Physical Education degree course at the Center for Physical Education and Sports (Cefd), of the Federal University of Esp穩rito Santo (Ufes), from 1995 to 2010. The universe of this phase of the study was made up of a total of 395 graduates from 1995-2002. The instrument used was a questionnaire with open and closed questions which enabled a profile of the group surveyed to be drawn up. It systematized aspects of the formative and professional trajectory of these former students, through two themes: knowledge covered in initial training and career prospects and teaching professionalism. The researcher shares some concerns about the complex scenario in which questions about training and intervention in Physical Education are immersed, bringing data that reveal the academic and professional history of the graduates of the Physical Education course at Cefd/Ufes.

Observing Social Values among prospective Teachers in Islamabad
The purpose of the research study is to investigate the social ideals that aspiring teachers have. Using a questionnaire, the study polled 50 teacher education students from Islamabad Model College for boy's street no, 17, I-10/1. The questionnaire asked about social values held by the participants, including their opinions about multiculturalism, social justice, and educational equity. The study's findings show that the majority of participants had strong social ideals and strongly agreed on matters of social justice and equity. The findings also raise the possibility that some participants had preconceived notions about various races and ethnicities. The study comes to the conclusion that in order to prepare future educators to advance social justice and equity in the classroom, teacher education programs should be created with positive social values in mind.

The study was concerned with analyzing the relationship between the school and the territory, in order to identify the mediations and participation of the subjects in the construction of territorialization at the Beato Eug礙nio Mazenod Municipal School and its community. The aim is to contribute elements for future evaluations of the object of study. The school works with participatory management, in which everyone in the school community takes part in decisions and actions. Mazenod's elementary school has made progress in recent years and can be considered one of the best in the city of Recife. As far as the research is concerned, at first, the school transmits capitalist culture, where knowledge is based on the interests of the middle class, but implicitly. However, this elite does not play a direct role in the functioning of the school, nor in the appropriation of its territory; this function is carried out by the state, which defines itself as a "mediator" of the interests of the dominant class. In a second moment, the school analyzed is an example of these institutions, which through their ability to transform the territory, appropriate and incorporate their culture, through the specificities of the space.

Today, working with young people, I understand that there is much more behind the situation of children who remain alone after school. It took me a while to understand Full-Time Education as a Constitutional Right, and it took me a while to realize the importance of guaranteeing different learning opportunities in multiple languages. The notion of teacher training has been conceived in different ways over time, ranging from the idea of training to current conceptions of a broader and more continuous process. The pedagogical conceptions of deaf teachers
In 1998 I had my first contact with the Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS), an interest in and love for the deaf community through the Nova Vida Church in Belford Roxo/RJ, where I am a member. From that moment on, my life changed and with it my family, ecclesiastical, educational, professional and social future. The following year we created MUS - Minist矇rio Un癟瓊o Silenciosa. Now, everything revolves around this linguistic-cultural coexistence with deaf people. I took LIBRAS courses at FENEIS and a LIBRAS interpreter course offered by FENEIS in partnership with INES. I worked as a LIBRAS interpreter at FENEIS and APADA, renowned institutions for the deaf in Brazil. I was a face-to-face and online tutor for the first graduating class of the Bachelor of Letters in Libras and an inclusion workshop and interpreter for the NGO Escola de Gente: comunica癟瓊o em inclus瓊o. In this work, my aspiration is to be able to contribute with yet another investigation that contributes to the rise and visibility of LIBRAS, for a new look at deaf teachers.

The human being is a highly complex but integrated suprasystem. This harmonious level of integration determines the degree of development and maturity of his personality. This is because at the same time as modern societies seek to accept differences, they also try to mask them. Therefore, reflecting on the concept of healing within societies enables new discussions in health, thus creating tools based on listening, dialog, respect for culture, individual experiences, collective representations of the body and exchanges of information between individuals and health professionals. These professionals, whether healing in physiotherapy or shaping the body in physical education, make it possible to transform people's relationships with themselves, with an emphasis on promoting health and self-care and not just appearance.

Profile of Management Graduates from a Public University
The aim of the research was to analyse the profile and perspectives of the graduates of the Administration course at UFFS - Federal University of the Southern Frontier, Chapec籀 Campus - SC. Information was collected on the personal, educational and professional profile of the participants, their objectives in terms of continuing their studies and the professional field. The opinions of the graduates about the components related to the course and the university, as well as the impact of the training received on the lives of these administrators, were decisive in evaluating important aspects of the management of the course and the campus, contributing to the proposal of improvements for the course and the university.
The history of University Extension from FORPROEX 1987-2012
The work in question set out to analyze how the Forum of Pro-Rectors of Extension of Brazilian Higher Education Institutions (FOPROEX) was set up and developed over its 25-year history (1987-2012)? Since its creation, FORPROEX has been the main stage for discussions on promoting and demanding the creation of specific guidelines and actions for University Extension as part of public policies for higher education in the country. In this way, approaching the knowledge and actions of the Forum's first 25 years of history was based on the fundamental premise of tackling important issues such as the process of institutionalization (establishing actions both from an administrative point of view and in terms of academic practice), territorialization (forms of organization and reorganization in terms of social relations with space), funding (decentralization and allocation of resources, as well as a special fund at the Ministry of Education) and innovation (building different positions and actions within the academic and social spheres). To this end, an analysis was carried out of the documents published by FORPROEX, such as the final documents of the national meetings and the University Extension guidelines.

It differs from common sense in that it has this commitment to foundations; it differs from art in that it seeks an expression that goes beyond sensation and aesthetic enjoyment; it also differs from science in that it doesn't operate with something already founded, that is, it doesn't take a theory or set of theories as truth, even if it's provisional; on the contrary, it opens up the field to various perspectives of truth. However, common sense, art and science provide the philosopher with the necessary conditions for a new conceptual creation. In this way, philosophy is a field open to multidisciplinary discussion, as it uses knowledge in general to prompt its investigations and reflections. Knowledge, in this way, is broader than a discipline, a "little box" in which we can enclose a spectrum of human reason, which is why philosophy is able to carry out this dialogue with the different perspectives of man and the world.
Articulating and implementing classroom activities
School life shows us dark paths that only a few enlightened people understand and do everything they can to overcome them, while many others realise it but seem to pretend not to. In most of the literary tables and teachers' lounges I've been to, especially during the lunch break, I've noticed a constant theme in their speech about the problematic low results of students in the assessments - it's the system's fault. There's a lot of complaining but very little action. Didactic experiments have shown that the students are so attached to that didactic routine that new methodologies suffer from not being accepted by them. This system extends to the teachers' classrooms. Many exalt that it's the system's fault, or the low number of materials, the little time available for discussion of the various aspects of the experimental work or for planning by the students and, above all, the absence of collective work involving all the educators, but it turns out that these are the ones who keep the system going. One of the few examples I've always left in schools is the habit of reading among the students, always seeking dialogue with them, which is certainly a more fruitful time.
