An Advance Approache for Ctvt in Canine
Though there have been rapid improvements in technology and medical science still the overall cancer incidence is on the rise. The scenario in veterinary field is more disapproving because of the exorbitant cost of therapy. The routine practices are not free from adverse side effects. Thus, the sufferings of cancer affected animals are yet to be ameliorated by safe, efficacious and economical cancer therapy. Better understanding of cancer biology for the development of novel and effective therapeutics has been a matter of concerned since last twenty years and it has focussed on the molecular mechanisms of cell growth control and tumorigenesis.Considering the above facts, the present book is all about to study the synthesis, characterization of macroporus poly (N-isopropyl acryalamide) hydrogel scaffold and control drug delivery monitoring of vincristine and cisplatin from hydrogel scaffolds. The antitumourous effect of vincristine, cisplatin and their hydrogel scaffolds on transmissible venereal tumour in canine. The changes in haemato-biochemical parameters in TVT affected dogs after administration of vincristine sulphate, cisplatin and their hydrogel scaffolds.

This book will be valuable to scientists in andrology and semen processing labs, animal breeders, dairy farmers, commercial frozen semen banks, and companies that manufacture extenders and preservatives.
Herbal Antioxidants in Small Ruminant Reproduction
The increasing demand for information on improving the quality of small ruminant semen is crucial for the effective utilization of superior germplasm and enhancing milk and meat production. Artificial insemination is a key technique in the genetic improvement of livestock. Various factors, including oxidative stress, significantly contribute to the deterioration of semen quality, resulting in poor fertility rates in caprine and ovine species. While chemical antioxidants can offer some benefits, they often disturb the osmolarity of the diluent and can harm both sperm and the female reproductive system during artificial insemination. In contrast, herbal antioxidants/additives do not cause such adverse effects and help maintain semen quality and fertility in small ruminants. This book will be valuable to scientists in andrology or semen processing laboratories, animal breeders, dairy farmers, commercial frozen semen banks, and companies that manufacture extenders and preservatives.

Estimation of age in equines by their dentition
In ancient times, the horse was used to transport people, tools, weapons, and in some cases, even as a shield against Indian arrows. Nowadays there are several functions for the horse such as sport horses used for racing, rodeo, jumping, polo, riding, work, shooting, among others. In the events that use sport horses, they usually use the teeth as an indicator to calculate their ages. The age of the horse is also relevant in the purchase and sale of horses, however, most buyers or sellers do not know how to calculate their age. The objective of this project was to elaborate a manual for estimating the age of equines through their teeth. This manual aims to facilitate the determination of the age of horses with the sole purpose of serving as a tool for sporting events, producers, technicians and the general public.

An Interprofessional Approach to Veterinary Nutrition
In veterinary practice, the interface between veterinarians, veterinary nurses or technicians, and paraprofessional team members is crucial. It influences patient care, incidence of medical errors, client satisfaction, success of the veterinary practice and revenue generation. Ensuring a coherent approach to the maintenance of animal health and wellbeing is of paramount importance, yet challenges such as interprofessional prejudice, misunderstanding of motivations, and a lack of recognition, respect, empowerment or trust, can prevent best practice. Nutrition is one of the most important considerations in the maintenance of health, and plays a critical role in disease management, patient recovery and hospital outcome; a reflection of its recognition as the fifth vital assessment. Owners are increasingly aware of the role of nutrition in optimizing pet health, yet considerable misinformation can make this one of the most difficult aspects of pet ownership. Playing a central role as a source of expert information, veterinary healthcare teams must rise to the challenge of optimizing pet nutrition. Effective interprofessional communication and collaboration is considered a key factor in the successful implementation of nutritional assessment, and a positive team environment founded on respect, trust and mutual support helps overcome challenges and provide the best outcome for both pets and their owners. This book provides evidence-based theory in an accessible and practical way to help veterinary healthcare teams implement interprofessional approaches to nutritional care and support.
