The Lyrics of one hundred and fifteen songs written by Lewis Cedar over fifty years. Lewis's career began when he was just two years of age. At five he was in the school nativity and then joined the church choir. He sang in the Westminster Abbey choir and then the music of Tom Paxton gave him the spring board to a career in over twenty countries. He wrote books and appeared on television and my records. In some of the gaps he wrote many songs these are one hundred and fifteen that survived the journey.

Variability of the Intraseasonal OMJ Signal over the NEB with OLAMv3.3
Intraseasonal atmospheric phenomena are important modulators of rainfall over South America, especially in the north of northeastern Brazil, where the state of Cear獺 is located. The Madden-Julian Oscillation, in turn, can influence the positioning and intensity of the Intertropical Convergence Zone - the main factor responsible for rainfall in the Northeast of Brazil (NEB). That said, this paper presents an analysis of the possible influence of the ITCZ on the NEB. The analyses are described through observations obtained from the NOAA data site, as well as through global numerical modeling. The results show that the years 2002 and 2003 have great intra-seasonal variability in the control region over the Indian Ocean - both observationally and numerically, with considerable influence on the NEB region associated with OMJ events. On the other hand, specifically for numerical modeling, using the methodology discussed for selecting a random OMJ event, the year 2011 showed strong variability on the intraseasonal time scale in the INDI control region, with an influence on the NEB region.

This investigation begins in 1935, the hundredth anniversary of the composer's death and the year when his first biopic was released, and ends in 2020, when performance artist Marina Abramovic's 'opera project' 7 Deaths of Maria Callas, whose final scene is accompanied by Bellini's famous aria 'Casta Diva, ' was premiered.In Part One, several recent productions of La sonnambula, Norma and I Puritani are discussed from different perspectives, but the common focus is on the possible meanings of these works for contemporary spectators. Part Two, centered on cinema, includes chapters on biopics of Bellini that make extensive use of his music, as well as on the presence of this music in soundtracks of films from the last half century. Part Three turns to other media or mixtures of stage and screen, and focuses on Bellini in sound and video art of the last few decades, on YouTube and its fandom, and on 7 Deaths of Maria Callas.The volume offers an expansive view of the many ways in which Bellini's operas have been visualized and conceptualized over the past century, and of what they may have meant, and may still mean, for twentieth- and twenty-first-century culture.
From the countryside to the city
The dynamics of contemporary society in rural areas have undergone a series of changes compared to the agricultural areas of a few decades ago. In view of this situation, the aim of this work is to analyze the historical process of economic formation in the municipality of Horizontina-RS, looking at the reasons for the decline in the importance of agricultural production as an economic activity, from work to the income of the rural population. The results showed changes in the number and profile of people occupying rural areas in Horizontina, the latter mainly due to the occupations of these actors, which restructured the spatial configuration and the processes in place there.
Rural extension in the Para穩ba hinterland
Among the technological alternatives available to alleviate or even solve water scarcity in rural areas is the underground dam. It is well known that the families benefiting from underground dams find it difficult to exploit the natural resources present in the dam areas in a sustainable way, since they were set up because of the climatic situation as a way of alleviating water scarcity in the region. In this situation, the aim was to train family farmers who are beneficiaries of the One Land, Two Waters Programme - P1+2 with Underground Dams, in the sustainable exploitation of the areas surrounding the dams in the Barro Branco II community, in the municipality of S瓊o Jos矇 da Lagoa Tapada, in the Para穩ba hinterland, to improve sustainable food production, increase income generation and consequently improve the community's quality of life. The work achieved the proposed objectives when the farmers absorbed and proved the positive and beneficial results of sustainable agricultural exploitation of the areas surrounding the underground dams and through the use of natural products it is possible to produce without the use of pesticides.

Economic analysis of the use of Salmo salar MSM
One of the most common forms of fish processing is filleting. After this process, the carcasses are left with fractions of quality meat that are difficult to reuse. The fish processing industry therefore generates, in addition to various nutritious products, waste that is not always properly disposed of and can cause environmental problems. In this sense, the use of MSM (Mechanically Separated Meat) technology is an interesting alternative for promoting the use of meat adhered to carcasses. The transformation of waste into new products that can be used in human or animal food is a very important practice, capable of generating an extra source of income for the processing industries. The aim of this study was to determine the yield of the process of extracting SMC from Atlantic salmon (S. salar) carcasses in a fish warehouse located in Belo Horizonte, MG (Brazil). A protocol was proposed for making kibbeh from the SMC obtained, as well as studying the economic viability of acquiring the equipment needed to produce both SMC and salmon kibbeh.

Choral Practice: Constant learning! It doesn't matter whether we are conductors, choristers, instrumentalists or listeners. Everyone wins! Writing about the musical learning that took place in this empirical field, as well as the interactions that were promoted, was a great learning experience. I observed that each of the children researched learned vital tools to lead their lives in a way that was more in line with their desires, as well as gaining more awareness to deal with their musical, emotional and social lives. I also observed that the learning acquired during the experience of singing in a choir was not just limited to music. Interactions took place in the courtyards, at public performances and even outside the choir context. This shows that these other encounters reinforced those interactions that occurred naturally during rehearsals, thus forming a unity that is necessary for their harmony in music and in life.

Who owns samba?
There is a symbolic dispute about belonging to samba. There are authors who say that samba belongs to a certain social sector, defined in terms of class or race, such as Sodr矇, Matos, Lopes, Araujo, Rodrigues, Magno Siqueira; and others who say that samba has no borders, because it belongs to all Brazilians, such as Guimar瓊es, Vianna, Sandroni, Caldeira. Samba lyrics also contain more or less obvious signs of this dispute. In view of this, in this book we problematize the discourses of the authors mentioned here and the lyrics of the sambas in the DVD collection Samba Social Clube, carrying out an analysis of the discursive relations of samba. We also reflect on some of the specificities of samba. We also examined the tensions and negotiations involved in affirming the origin of samba. Our proposal was to map the discourses of appropriation, verifying how they were constructed and confronting them. It is therefore important reading for students and lovers of samba, Brazilian culture and race studies.

Korean performers step in the madang as a means of bringing their bodies into purposeful contact with the particular time and place of performance. Kwon contends that the participatory way of being that is cultivated in the madang counteracts the fossilization of tradition by bringing folk practices more fully into the embodied present, even if in an idealized fashion. The madang draws attention to the body; it increases one's awareness of space and place; and it creates open-ended performances that are conducive to a more dynamic range of social interactions. The book starts with a study of a Korean p'ungmul group that maintains a vibrant, expressive ecology in rapidly globalizing Korea. The role of nurses in mental health centres
For a long time, the management of mentally disabled individuals was restricted to practices of aggression, physical and chemical restraints and confinement in spaces known as asylums. The Psychiatric Reform emerges as a break with these old practices and offers a new model of care for this user with psychic suffering. Nurses are fundamental in this care, however, sometimes their practice is still based on the old hospital-centred model. This paper therefore has the following objectives: to analyse the role of nurses in mental health services, to describe their duties in these services, to carry out a literature review on the role of nurses in this health sector and to describe the author's experience in the field of mental health residency. In the field of mental health, care is shared between different professional categories and this paper, as well as emphasising the importance of nurses, highlights other groups of health professionals who work brilliantly every day in search of the uniqueness of the subject with mental suffering.

This exploratory, descriptive, participatory and plural methodological research investigates the particularities of the Carnival Previews in Jo瓊o Pessoa, Para穩ba, understood as a festival capable of mobilizing a large flow of people and generating income, the result of cultural production, a symbol of the Pessoa Carnival. In this context, this paper analyzes the importance of the Folia de Rua project in valuing the local culture and its possible viability as a locally-based tourist attraction.
Installing Landscapes
In this book, the author presents a bibliographical review of part of the collection that discusses themes pertinent to the construction of sound installations. He briefly relates these contents to the basic notions of Soundscape, Semiotics, Hermeneutics, Psychoacoustics and Spectromorphology. This relationship is intended to provide new theoretical support for practical issues that are fundamental to musical composition and sound art. It also presents works already presented by the author, relating them to works by recognised composers such as Murray Schafer (1933), Hildegard Westerkamp (1946) and Barry Truax (1947). 'Since the soundscape is the basic element for the composition of my sound installations, I intend to discuss the relevance of the realisation of 'soundwalks' in the same environment for the perception of the most diverse acoustic and visual elements belonging to the landscape. From the intensive listening experiences that have emerged in my compositional processes, I share my understanding of sound art and my perception of the influences of landscape transformation on the compositional and installation process'.
Romantic Music Aesthetics
This book reassesses the place of politics and emotion within Romantic music aesthetics. Drawing together insights from the history of emotions, cultural history, and studies of philosophical idealism, 'affective relationality' - the channelling of emotion through music's social and cultural synergies - emerges as key to Romantic aesthetic thought. Now familiar concepts such as theatrical illusion, genius, poetic criticism, and the renewed connection of art to mythology and religion opened new spaces for audiences' feelings, as thinkers such as Rousseau, Herder, Germaine de Sta禱l, Joseph Mainzer, Pierre Leroux and George Sand sought alternatives to the political status quo. Building on the sentimental tradition in eighteenth-century art and politics, the Romantics created ways of listening to music imbued not just with melancholic longing for transcendence but also with humour, gothic fantasy, satire, and political solidarity. The consequences have extended far beyond the classical concert hall into numerous domains of popular culture from melodrama, romances and political songwriting to musical theatre and film.
Interactive Game in a Math Olympiad
This work proposes an interactive game using Arduino in a maths olympiad for primary school students. The inspiration for this approach arises from the need to facilitate the teaching and learning process in maths classes using an attractive and playful methodology through a game for students. The idea is to apply a maths Olympiad in the form of a quiz and propose building the equipment with the help of the students in a bid to involve them in the dynamics of the game. The quiz consists of a game of questions and answers, which will be played by three teams of 8th grade students from a state public school Loide de Miranda Bossois is a teacher in the Goi獺s state public school system. She specialises in Educational Robotics for the Teaching of Mathematics and its Technologies at the Federal University of Catal瓊o (2024), specialises in Technologies Applied to the Teaching of Biology at the Federal University of Goi獺s and has a degree in Biology from the Catholic University. Each team will be made up of five members, one of whom will be the captain. The aim of the game is to get the highest score.
