Origins of melodic systems
There is a restlessness in all of us who have been through music history courses, both students and teachers. It is enough to observe a model of scales that we know from all the textbooks, chapter Greece (that of Homer, Pythagoras, Aristotle) and another of the ecclesiastical ranges of the so-called medieval period (the Europe of Gregory the Great, Ambrose of Milan, Guido of Arezzo).Both models are totally different. Another question then arises: Where and when did the change take place? What was the reason for it? Within these concerns were born hypotheses and postulates that attributed this difference to conceptual errors: Whose fault was it? Was it the musicians? The treatise writers? The historians?The concern is legitimate since we are dealing with musical schemes that are still as valid and generalized as they were forty thousand years ago. The present work was the result of a research effort motivated by these concerns that have left a gap in the historical and evolutionary sequence of the most important expressive medium that music has possessed since it existed as a conscious manifestation of humanity: melody.

This research aims to identify the adoption of the quality model and the consequent level of improvement achieved in a public maternity hospital in the state of Cear獺. Initially, a bibliographical study was carried out on management tools to support the qualitative field research, based on observation techniques and the use of a checklist in the hygiene service. After analyzing the data collected, the results showed a high level of compliance with ANVISA's Regulatory Standard for Occupational Health and Safety in Healthcare Establishments No. 32 (NR32) and Resolution No. 50 of the Collegiate Board of Directors (RDC 50). It can therefore be concluded that the adoption of the quality management model has led to improvements and trained organizational staff to solve specific problems.

This study investigates how pregnant women perceive food during pregnancy. Food is influenced by various economic, social and cultural factors. For pregnant women, in addition to these factors, there are the physiological, metabolic and psychological changes typical of this period. It is necessary for professionals who work with food guidance or nutritional education to have a broader view of food, seeking to understand which factors can influence these women's dietary decisions, since access to adequate nutritional information alone does not guarantee that it will be practiced. It was observed that eating during pregnancy is a subject that has been little studied by national and international researchers, which made it difficult to compare the data with studies that have already been carried out and published, a fact that highlights the importance of this study not only for the literature, but for public health as a whole.

This study examines music apps as independent instruments in instrumental lessons. Many apps provide experimental sounds that can be incorporated into lessons. The thesis defines terms and descriptions of apps, describes the use of apps in instrumental lessons and evaluates the selected apps using a self-developed guideline. For this purpose, literature studies were conducted, theoretically developed lesson concepts with apps were tested and analyzed, and a guide for self-evaluation of apps was created. The results show that the piano students are encouraged to discover new things by interacting with the experimental sounds of the apps. In addition, the apps make it possible to make music together with people who do not play an instrument, which can create additional music-making moments.

Intercommunications resulting from Hydraulic Fracturing
With the increase in global energy demand and the search for new, more abundant and less impactful sources, a new type of hydrocarbon reservoir has begun to gain attention and investment: unconventional reservoirs. New techniques such as hydraulic fracturing are used to exploit these types of reservoirs. However, at the same time as allowing the exploitation of huge new reserves of natural gas, hydraulic fracturing is also the target of controversy and environmental accusations. Environmentalists point to a series of risks and impacts caused by the use of the technique, the most common of which is the intercommunication of hydrocarbon-producing zones with drinking water aquifers. This work seeks, through the construction and use of a simulator, to validate the risks and impacts pointed out by environmentalists, in particular the occurrence of intercommunication caused by the artificial fractures created.
Brazilians and foreigners
This paper discusses the formation of demarcated groups in the sociability of residents and workers in a neighborhood in the city of Chapec籀. As a theoretical and conceptual source, we used the concept of Established and Outsiders, developed by Norbert Elias and Scotson (2000), in an attempt to interpret the forms of sociability established between residents from a sociological perspective. This includes assumptions about racial group prejudice, social stigma, status and power, in a qualitative ethnographic analysis of the sociability relationships of residents and workers in a city neighborhood. We understood that what was at stake were values of superiority, which are maintained and reproduced in a relationship of power and social status in which the dominant group, when it comes into contact with the other minority group, produces an elevated image of itself. This dynamic reveals prejudice, discrimination and racial stigmas towards the Outsiders.
Analysis of pathological manifestations in a reinforced concrete walkway
The civil construction sector is one of the country's most important economic foundations. It has undergone major developments in the technology of construction materials and in design and execution techniques, but so many innovations are contributing to the emergence of pathological manifestations in structures, which is why it is necessary to understand what pathology is. This study analyzed a reinforced concrete footbridge in order to identify the possible causes of the anomalies. The walkway analyzed is located on Avenida Desembargador Jo瓊o Machado, in the center-south region of Manaus, where the visual inspection method was used to identify the pathological manifestations.
Perception of terrorist threat
"Physical and/or psychological violence, motivated by political objectives, fanaticism and/or religious extremism, with the purpose of causing intimidation, fear and uncertainty in randomly chosen victims by isolated individuals and/or non-state groups, in the course of a tactical action. The use of social networks favors clandestinity, serves as a propaganda platform and is at the heart of the planning and strategy of contemporary terrorism." Using the case of the city of S瓊o Paulo - one of the host cities of the Olympics in Brazil - as a reference, the author studies the influence of the mega-event on the perception of threats in Brazil's most populous city. Using a sample group made up of members of the tourism sector and related services, the author investigates themes that are not common in Brazilian daily life, such as the perception of threat and the concept of terrorism itself. Based on the works of Alex Schmid, David Rapoport and Martha Crenshaw, among others - and on data obtained from field research - this book presents an academic view of the perception of terrorist threat and the importance of the subject in shaping an effective security architecture.
Heliconia Golden torch under different sources and doses of silicon
The aim was to evaluate the productivity and post-harvest quality of Golden Torch heliconia under different sources and doses of silicon. The experiment was set up in a 3 x 3 factorial design with four replications, using the sources sugarcane bagasse ash, MB-4 and Rocksil(R) at doses of 0, 400 and 800 kg/ha of SiO2 equivalent from each source. The results showed that the number of inflorescences increased with the Rocksil(R) source, bract length was higher with the interaction between ash and the 400 kg/ha dose, mass loss on the eighth day post-harvest was lower with the interaction between Rocksil(R) and the 400 kg/ha dose, bract burn on the eighth day post-harvest was lower with the Rocksil(R) source at the 800 kg/ha dose and the Si content in the soil at a depth of 0-0.20 m increased with the increase in the silicon dose. As for the variables: length of flower stalks, mass of flower stalks on the day of harvest and on the eighth day after harvest, leaf and soil silicon content at a depth of 0.20-0.40 m, there was no significant difference between the treatments using the Scott-Knott test for grouping means. Fertilizing with silicon increased productivity and post-harvest quality.
Reflections and contributions of the PPP in Rural Education
The aim of this study was to analyse the reflections and contributions of the Pedagogical Political Project in rural schools in the state of Amazonas, with a view to diagnosing the extent to which the Pedagogical Political Project of these schools has helped to reinforce the identity of their students as rural subjects, as well as the link between this document and the concept of Rural Education. In order to discuss rural education in Brazil, the research was based on the work of major academic authors. The data showed that the Pedagogical Political Project is based on a technical and bureaucratic concept, disconnected from the concept of rural education and decontextualised from the reality of its students. Based on this diagnosis, we realised the need to broaden discussions with the school community, specifically the riverside schools located in the state of Amazonas, about the importance of a Political Pedagogical Project linked to the principles of Rural Education and, through this, to rescue their students' sense of self-worth, so that they can assert themselves as transforming subjects within the social group in which they are inserted, without feeling inferior.

Much has been said about human rights and quality of life, but there are very few visions for these human beings who have entered the world, but who are never judged in our eyes, but in the eyes of God. The journey wasn't easy, I thought many times about giving up and going on to another subject, due to the difficulty of finding the people responsible for accompanying me and looking after me during the collection of my data, but with patience everything worked out and it was a beautiful piece of work.

I'm not a musician, musicologist or mathematician; others are and they discuss his work very well from those angles.Now that I'm a mother, I'd like to try and understand how this little boy, then this young man, built himself up from the successive traumas he experienced throughout the first years of his life, which remain omnipresent in his music. I'd like to share the extraordinary journey I was able to take, both in time and in thought, thanks to the reading of his manuscripts, which reveal how, in the space of a few years, he succeeded in controlling the chaos of his emotions through the elaboration of a new music and architecture. Explores Liszt's compositional processes and methods of revision as the product of the composer's interactions with a large variety of social, cultural, personal and political forces. Franz Liszt (1811-86) is mostly known for his virtuosic piano works, but his compositional achievements in the genre of song have so far been neglected. Many of Liszt's Lieder exist in multiple versions, sometimes radically altered, and many with equal claims to 'authenticity'. This has sometimes been viewed as a barrier to performance and a hindrance to scholarly scrutiny. Nicol獺s Puyan矇 now redresses this imbalance and draws attention to this rich and varied corpus of works. Liszt's songs contain a myriad of intertextual links, not just with the songs of other composers, but also with Liszt's own works in other genres and his own revisions. By focusing on the multi-version songs, the book uncovers how these intertextual relationships have evolved over time. Introducing the concept of "textual fluidity", the book explores Liszt's compositional processes and methods of revision, interpreting the work as being the product of the composer's interactions with a large variety of social, cultural, personal and political forces: for instance, the contemporaneous reception of Liszt's early Lieder, or the change in Liszt's performing and compositional environments from his virtuoso to his Weimar years. The book then offers close readings of selected songs, including the Goethe and Schiller Lieder, by applying the concept of textual fluidity. Its findings will impact the way in which we see Urtext editions, arguing instead for an online fluid-text edition as an ideal resource with which to study Liszt's multi-version compositions.
