The process of strategic change and adaptation
The purpose of this book is to present a case study carried out in a company in the field of scientific medical refrigeration, located in the city of Santa Rosa, RS. The aim of the study was to identify the types of innovation, based on Wang and Ahmed's (2004) model, in the period between 2001 and 2016, which led to changes in the company's strategic positioning over the period under analysis. The periods of strategic change were analyzed using the three dimensions of Pettigrew, Ferlie and McKee's methodology (1992), context, content and process, using the longitudinal and historical analysis of direct research procedures (MINTZBERG, 1979). Based on the data collected, the organization can be classified into three strategic periods. The results showed that in the first period the organization presented market innovation, in the second period product innovation at a radical and incremental level, as well as strategic and behavioural innovation and the third period was again made up of product innovation.

Relationship marketing in the Cali hotel industry
Relationship marketing has become more important in recent years in service companies, and of course in the hotel industry, given that with the development and evolution of information technologies, the client has been offered countless possibilities to satisfy their demands, demanding increasingly personalised services, having the opportunity to access a large volume of information that allows them to compare and choose the option that best suits their needs. This is why the relationship with the guest and the construction of long-term relationships with them has become a task of the utmost importance that has to be dynamised day by day, not only because the guest, unlike in previous years, has full access to information, but also because the competition is increasingly focused on satisfying their needs, turning their stay into unique experiences with which they become an advertising factor of the brand with great power to influence other people. This has led to the construction of CRM models.
Structure and Dynamics of the Rail Logistics System
A country's economic development is directly related to its investments in infrastructure, more precisely the transportation sector and its various modes that make up the sector's logistics chain. Industrial progress depends on these investments in order to move its products safely, reliably and at the lowest possible cost. The importance of rail transport for Brazil's development is obvious, its main characteristic being its ability to transport large volumes of cargo over medium and long distances, with greater safety and efficiency, when compared mainly to road transport. However, Brazilian rail transport is in a critical situation, perhaps due to the focus on investments in the road sector over the last few decades. VLI is a standout on the national rail scene, has been in the process of developing its governance structure over the last few years and is making recurrent investments in infrastructure.

This impact that the company generates in society is only possible through the passion and discipline of the people who, with a clear business vision, contribute to the growth and transformation of the company. In this context, the globalization of the economy and the imminent bilateral treaties make it necessary to search for new mechanisms that facilitate companies to be more competitive and viable in this environment, that is why it is necessary to study and analyze the supply and demand of support services for the development of entrepreneurship as a tool for the development of the region and the country. Implementation and Benefits of Digital Twin on Decision Making and Data Quality Management
Digital twin technology is becoming important for the realization of Industry 4.0 using cyber-physical systems (CPS) and information technology. CPS form the backbone to support the creation of a network for decentralized and autonomous decision-making. The design principles for Industry 4.0 serve as guidelines for virtualization concepts that are virtual copies of the physical world and create a link between the real and virtual worlds to collect data and monitor processes, the so-called digital twin. In this book, a theoretical digital twin-driven decision-making model has been developed that combines corporate data quality management, a process digital twin, and a model-driven decision support system. It leverages the benefits of the digital twin to create, test and build a process in the virtual world that supports decision making by combining data, analytics and visualization of insights to help managers make better decisions
Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems
Cyber-physical systems (CPS) are one of the key concepts of Industry 4.0. Despite their great potentials for industrial value creation, there are challenges, such as a significant increase in complexity, as a result of which the development status of Industry 4.0 is behind expectations. This book addresses this issue with the following research design: In addition to providing a comprehensive foundation of industrial CPS and Industry 4.0, four studies are conducted, each consisting of an exploratory research part and a design science research (DSR) part. In doing so, four perspectives are directed at the topic of industrial CPS: A systemic, a stakeholder-centered, an organizational and a holistic. In conclusion, the contributions are integrated in a summary and the artifacts are incorporated into an overarching methodological framework. Thus, theoretical contributions are derived and concrete practical recommendations for the main target groups of organizations, educational institutions and international delegations provided.

Application of Effective Customer Relationship Management
The main goal of every business is to create customers, since client satisfaction and trust will bring repeat purchases to the firm and thus improve the firm's organizational performance. Customers are extremely price-conscious, smarter, less forgiving, and with more demands. The challenge therefore is to produce loyal and delighted customers such that if they are retained within the organisation, they turn out to be really profitable and eventually become ambassadors for the organisation. Many organisations are realizing that it might not be easy for the intangible aspects of a relationship to be duplicated by the competition, which therefore provides a unique competitive advantage. There is a major problem with customer churn in Zenith Bank. The bank has "passion for customers" as one of its core values yet, this seems to be a thing of the mouth as staff of the organisation would not be overly bothered about customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention. Relationships with customers are still at the transactional level and officers seem not to be in a hurry to take this to a relational level even in the face of a seemingly competitive banking industry.

It sheds light on regionalization as a pivotal force redefining global markets, and focuses on Europe and North America, revealing the strengthening of regional ties. Discussing future challenges, the book will appeal to scholars, students, and researchers, as well as practitioners and policy-makers interested in a better understanding of (de)globalization nuances connected to the evolving role of manufacturing in global value chains.
Climate Disaster Preparedness
As a result of global warming, extreme events, such as firestorms and flash floods, pose increasingly unpredictable and uncertain existential threats, taking lives, destroying communities, and wreaking havoc on habitats. Current aesthetic, technological and scientific frameworks struggle to imagine, visualise and rehearse human interactions with these events, hampering the development of proactive foresight, readiness and response. This open access book demonstrates how the latest advances in creative arts, intelligent systems and climate science can be integrated and leveraged to transform the visualisation of extreme event scenarios. It reframes current practice from passive perception of pre-scripted illustrations to active immersion in evolving life-like interactive scenarios that are geo-located. Drawing on the multidisciplinary expertise of leaders in the creative arts, climate sciences, environmental engineering, and intelligent systems, this book examines the waysin which climate disaster preparedness can be reformulated through practices that address dynamic and unforeseen interactions between climate and human life worlds. Grouped into four sections (picturing, narrating, rehearsing, and communicating), this book maps this approach by exploring the emerging strengths and current limitations of each discipline in addressing the challenge of envisioning the unpredictable interaction of extreme events with human populations and environments. This book provides a timely intervention into the global discourse on how art, culture and technology can address climate disaster resilience. It appeals to readers from multiple fields, offering academic, industry and community audiences novel insights into a profound gap in the current knowledge, policy and action landscape.

However, the tension between the application's creator, its content, and the consumer operating the app needs to be examined holistically. As it is not trivial to create an integrated user experience, the unique usability-centered perspective on the requirements engineering pursued throughout, allows for the suggested data-driven solution to address the specific domain issues and serve the intended audience. Based on the insights gained during this examination and under the utilization of design science research, human-centered design, and domain-driven design "A Software Framework for Mobile Apps in the Museum Application Domain" is created and implemented using web technologies.

Consumer Purchase in Fashion Industry Using Augmented Reality
AR is a technologically-delivered, improved representation of the real world that incorporates digital visuals, audio, and other senses. The fashion industry is using augmented reality (AR) more and more to improve the shopping experience for customers. It acts as a link between the virtual and real worlds of shopping, enabling customers to digitally try on apparel and accessories prior to making a purchase. The potential of AR contributes to the increasing emphasis in design on improving ergonomics and user interfaces. Products are progressively differentiating themselves based on how well they provide consumers with crucial operational and safety information. AR is changing the way that people think about showrooms and product demos, as well as the way they interact with customers. Customers have higher levels of satisfaction with their purchases, more accurate expectations, and increased confidence in their purchasing decisions when they can virtually preview how things will appear or perform in a real-world situation before making a purchase. In the future, augmented reality might potentially completely replace the need for showrooms and physical storefronts.
