Designing for Digital Transformation in a Society of Smartness
Information system (IS) researchers play a pivotal role as change agents, driving positive societal transformation and addressing "grand challenges." Designing for Digital Transformation in a Society of Smartness explores and expands the literature on digital transformation (DT), focusing on how IS research can conceptualize and tackle the design of IS artifacts in response to these complex challenges. The authors conceptualize DT as transformations of smart service systems (SSSs) due to the widespread use of smart technologies by individuals. The monograph further develops this literature toward a more sociological understanding of the practices within which individuals interact with smart technologies in their everyday lives. Based on these cornerstones, the authors provide specific suggestions for IS design of DT at a societal scale and contribute to research about DT, SSS, and IS design, respectively.

Financial Inclusion and the Performance of Real Sector in Nigeria
This study examines the relationship between financial inclusion and the performance of Nigeria's real sector, encompassing agriculture, industry, and services, using 33 years of data (1990-2022) from the Central Bank of Nigeria. Financial inclusion, defined as access to essential financial services, is measured through indicators like broad money supply, credit to the private sector, lending rate, and the number of bank branches. Using the Fully Modified Ordinary Least Square (FMOLS) approach, the study finds that broad money supply and credit to the private sector significantly improve productivity across all sectors, while higher lending rates and more bank branches negatively affect performance, especially in agriculture and industry. The research highlights the crucial role of financial inclusion in enhancing the real sector's productivity and recommends policies to lower credit costs and promote financial deepening, particularly for small and medium enterprises, to drive Nigeria's economic growth.

Critical analysis of work in the age of artificial intelligence
At present, the unusual return that the operators of artificial intelligence are seeking is the silence of the law, so that they can continue to work without contributing, as any other worker does. Yet, were it not for the pressure of globalization, the law of a country cannot afford to be so silent in the face of a fact that is as uncomfortable as the closure of counters, offices, bank branches and public administrations.Legally, artificial intelligence seems to be floating nowhere. Neither in the civil code, nor in labor law, nor in the penal code. It escapes everything but allows multinational oligarchs to make superprofits. What's more, it's a technology dominated by money collectors, who have integrated companies, banks, state entities and even our private lives. Even if collecting influences the creation of laws, after a certain degree of wealth, money is no more than a collection of millions and billions, more than anything else.

Perception of Major Stakeholders Towards Organic Farming
The Green Revolution, initiated in the 1960s, significantly increased agricultural productivity in India through the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and hybrid crops. While it achieved food security, the negative impacts on soil health, environmental balance, and human health have prompted a re-evaluation of agricultural practices. As a response to these challenges, organic farming has emerged as a sustainable alternative, focusing on eco-friendly methods that enhance biodiversity, soil health, and agricultural resilience against climate variability. This book examines the current trends and developments in organic farming, highlighting its worldwide acceptance and the increasing area of land under organic cultivation. Notably, India ranks among the top ten countries in terms of both land area dedicated to organic farming and market share for organic products. The study explores the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the International Federation for Organic Agricultural Movements (IFOAM) in promoting organic practices, alongside national policies supporting organic farming across various Indian states.
